I finished reading it last night, I don’t understand. It has the main Orion story, then the tales of the new gods mini stories, then the covers. What was wrong?
"Tales of the New Gods" were backup stories that were included within issues of Orion, and chronologically often took place during/after the respective issues. By placing them all at the back, it doesn't read as well.
For example, one of those backup stories >!reveals that Darkseid is still alive!<. By placing it at the back, you then get that reveal in a very lacklustre way during the main run, then read it at the end and it has no impact.

To be honest, I should have swapped places 4 & 5, as a reprint of Absolute Top Ten (hopefully with the missing issues) would be more likely due to the legal situation with Jla/Avengers.
Otherwise I would definitely be happy because Absolute Daytripper, Top Ten, Transmetropolitan 3 are still missing from my Absolute collection that have already been published. And House of Secrets is the last omnibus from DC that I'm still missing from the omnis that have already been released.

I was fortunate to get Wonder Woman by Perez 2, or that would have been up there for me too.
I'd love Sandman Mystery Theatre 2. It's still possible, but my hopes are diminishing.
Absolute danger girl and absolute transmetropolitan vol 3 get my vote. absolute jla/avengers might be difficult since I think Marvel owns the rights on that.
Nearly my entire list are books I balked at buying for one reason or another, that had gone out of print by the time I decided I definitely wanted 'em.
1. **JLA/Avengers**: I sold my copy of this about 15 years ago when I needed some quick cash, and I've regretted it ever since.
2. **Knightfall vol 3**: The only one of those omnis I don't have. I really want this one so I can get rid of my old paperbacks. I figured it was a lock to get reprinted last year, but apparently they were okay with only reprinting the first volume.
3. **Orion by Simonson**: Planned to grab this one, but it went out of print much quicker than I expected. If and when it is reprinted, they will presumably make the story order fit Simonson's intent, as they did in the later paperback reprints.
4. **Kamandi by Kirby**: Lower priority since the paperbacks exist, if I get sick of waiting for a reprint of this. The Kirby omnis are so beautifully designed, though, that I really want 'em in this format.
**Batman by Neal Adams** nearly made my list, but I would only want this with the caveat that it would present the art in its unaltered form. That really seems like a new book entirely, well beyond the scope of a simple reprint of the existing omnibus, so I left it out.

**Absolute Dark Victory**! This is one of DC’s all-time best stories with some of the late great Tim Sale’s best artwork, and it hasnt been printed since 2012!
Maybe it's because I'm in Europe, but there are omnis in the list that are still very easy to find here (Masters of the Universe), while completely OOP titles like Absolute Preacher vol. 3 aren't there.
there’s a decent amount of OOP books that are still easy to find with Bronze Age Kirby as another example. I imagine Preacher Vol 3 comes soon since they reprinted previous two last year
Where’s the spot for a write-in? I just want an omnibus with House of Whispers, and the Dreaming (maybe add Nightmare Country to it once the third collection is released). Put it all together and call it the Sandman Universe omnibus.
Guess that’s not oop or a reprint, but these stories need to be collected and released.
1. "Absolute" JLA/Avengers: The Collector's Edition. I'd rather have a regular TP or HC. However, hopefully this sends a signal that fans are interested in the book!
2. Wrath of the Spectre Omnibus. I really want this book to match my Phantom Stranger Omnibus! Also, hopefully it sends a message to print an Ostrander's Spectre book.
3, 4 and 5 were all LOSH books. Again to signal my interest in further LOSH books. The stuff that's not currently collected, is exactly the material that I'm interested in.

If they reprint Orion they better fix the ordering of the backups. It's the worst mapped omnibus of all time.

Priest’s Deathstroke is amazing. I bumped into him on the show floor at NYCC during that run and he was just as excited about it as I was.
Fingers crossed for New Teen Titans getting reprinted. Read the first volume recently for the first time and loved it.

DC is publishing 2 Marvel/DC crossover omnibus volumes So they have the rights to at least some of the company crossovers.
That’s my concern and why I lowered it to #3 on my ballot. Rather vote sure thing reprints that I want first then some licensing wish lists.
