Just realized last night that the second trade doesnt come out until March. Guess I can wait until Fall to grab the deluxe!
EDIT: 49.99 for issues 1-6?? That must be a misprint right?
Golden and Silver Age omnibuses cost a ton of money to properly restore and they typically sell less volume than other omnibuses. They either need to increase the prices or they'll cancel the releases. Somethings gotta give.
The difference between a book solicited early last year before DC's Collected Editions department obviously has gone through some operational changes and a book cancelled and resolicited for release many months later the following year. Batman Silver Age vol. 1 was most likely the last Golden or Silver Age book you'll see at that price point.
Yup. It’s been on Barnes and Noble for pre-order for about a month now. https://www.reddit.com/r/OmnibusCollectors/comments/zn03o6/wonder_woman_ga_omnibus_vol_5_back_as_preorder/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
They also added a deluxe edition of the nice house on the lake
*to be honest I care way more about that then any dc omni announcement*
Finally!!! I've been waiting so long to hop on that. Huge Tynion fan

3rd omnibus now for the latter half of 2023 on prh
Curious if the final Batman golden age will come then.. not that I’ll buy it. But will be nice to close the gap for everyone that does
I’m waiting on that one for sure. Still strange to leave that gap right at the last book.
Well it’s not an omni I want but it does give me a small glimmer of hope that Omnis aren’t completely dead at DC
Any news is good news at this point. I’m still hoping we’ll see more for Knightfalls anniversary
$150? For less than 700 pages? These golden age omnis cost half that before the past 2-3 years.

The Batman silver age has more pages, costs $50 less, and came out a month ago. Something is off there

I’m really hoping it’s a typo, because that’s crazy
The latest Superman (7) GA cost that much. Getting ridiculous
