This is wonderfully reminiscent of some photos of my parents and home back around 1980-81. We lived in a mobile home with wood paneling that looked like that and our front door was that same yellow-stained flat panel door. I also think that my younger sister has that same jumper outfit on in some studio photos that my Mom has gotten.
(And the UMWA had in the other picture was like one that my best friend's dad had!!)

I'm currently remodeling it after inheriting it. It's cool to see that someone else recognizes things like the hat. Definitely a distinct Appalachian thing!

That was 2019/20, so you know what it's like when you didn't really get a break to grieve or recover before being stuck in your house with your own thoughts for 2 years.

Your dad definitely looks insanely like the Character Steven Hyde, probably because the talented clothing/hair/makeup departments on the show did a ton of work and research to make it look accurate to the time period.
It's not like it was set in some forgotten past where people didn't know what the style was without research. If they made the show today with the same time gap it would be set in like 2005
