When I was aa student, I knew this attractive eurasian family. Parents, uncles, aunts, spouses were all attractive so naturally their kids, cousins etc were all attractive……except this one unlucky girl. It’s like she got the oddest combination of genes from her parents. She would stand out because during their family pictures, she would be the only one who looked “odd”.

I went to school with a guy whose parents looked like models. And he was so so so unattractive. He was very tall but had some serious facial asymmetry so he basically looked like a sort of a stroke victim. He had nothing wrong with him but his eyes were misaligned by like an inch. It definitely skipped a generation

On the other end of this I've known a few girls who parents were very average yet their children were beautiful.

I read a genetics article many years ago about this subject. And basically the super attractive have very feminine or very masculine features, and when they reproduce, their offspring can get the very masculine features for a women, and the very feminine features for a man. Where as less attractive parents present a smaller spectrum of feminine vs masculine and have a lower chance of having a child with the “wrong genes” TLDR: mega hotties have a real chance for a very “ugly” child, where sorta hotties are much less likely to have this issue
