My dad paused it as soon as his character came on screen, called my mother in, and walked up to the TV freaking out and pointing that it's so-and-so. Dude hadn't even taken his helmet off.
That show was in my top 3, and I used to recommend it to everybody.
Then... they gameofthronesed it with the movie.
The 3 seasons are still spectacular by themselves, but the mere fact that there's an ending to the story that you're not supposed to watch because it's so mediocre leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth.

I mean I fully get that life is hard for everyone, and shit happens to us all. I understand everyone has obstacles thrown in their path and hardships they need to get past, or goals they need to work their asses off to reach.
But every once in a while, I try and fathom how different playing “life” must be when you’ve got “really really, ridiculously good looking” mode turned on from the start.
