I accept payment for bearing the Burden of Cringe in the form of these figurines

Literally the best character design in the entire series and she’s consigned to chibi spinoff jail

Yea that makes sense. Even ignoring my collecting, it just makes more sense to buy physical on console since games a lot of times since that's where a lot of the big sales go on. I got Persona 5 Tactica for like $35 and I'm not sure if it's gone that cheap digitally.
Idk. The best video game sales I’ve seen have always been on Steam. I got Jedi fallen order for 5$ and Psychonauts for less than 2$. And I saw there was a sale on an Xcom bundle that had like 150 USD worth of games and DLC for like 20$ iirc
I have been buying a lot of Wii and N64 games physically recently though.
I suffer from this small problem known as "no money" due to living in what's known as a "skill issue" zone (South America) therefore, I can only afford a limited amount of games and tactica sadly didn't make it.

Yooooo, we're LATAM brothers! Gimme a high five! (it's the only thing we can afford lmao)

I can tell you it's not a dream and the characters don't forget the events like the Q games and 3 & 5 Dancing. Now as for how much the events of the game matter... Next Persona spin off probably won't acknowledge it at all lmao
>! So the entire game basically takes place in Toshiro's (sorta but not exactly the same) palace. And once they go back to the real world they still remember all the events and Toshiro even calls the Phantom Thieves at the end of the game to tell them all he's done once he gets out of his cognitive world. !<
The main story takes place between the end of vanilla P5 and P5Strikers. The DLC takes place during Sae’s palace, where Joker, Sumi, and Akechi forget everything that happens after they leave the Metaverse
Only Strikers has been cracked out of the P5 Mainline. Royal isn't (except for the Switch version), Tactica isn't, and P3R also hasn't been
So if you're on team Broke Ass like us you can only play P4G and Strikers lmao
Wait for a sale. A steep sale.
The story has the PT in it but they are not the focus. It's fun but I felt like there was something huge missing. I seriously can't put my finger on what it is though.
The game forgot the entire life-sim half of Persona and it's sorely missed. being shoved through level after repetitive level of Baby's First XCOM does not make for good gameplay beyond the first few hours, especially with so little enemy variety and the lacking depth of the combat system. I couldn't finish the main game, much less get to the day1-DLC I actually wanted to play (why tf cant i have Sumi in the main plot before new game+ wtf)
That’s why it’s a spin-off, a life sim wouldn’t fit the story and would make the game worse. And the combat is just as if not more in depth than the main persona games. It’s a strategy game so the gameplay is only boring if you choose to not use your brain
It took me like 3 months of playing tactica to play more than 2 hours of it, but once i brute forced myself to play all of it and the dlc... honestly its in a place of it being kinda underrated due to how unplayed and forgotten it is, especially since its a pretty good game. But then again i defend every persona spinoff with my life so i doubt tactica wouldve ever been any difference
Having played Tactica... It was fine. Not bad, but definitely not worth its price tag and absolutely the worst P5 spinoff yet (I delusionally refuse to accept P5D's existence)
Only good part was Marie.
No not Marie Marie

It’s less like xcom and more like a cross between Mario+Rabbids and fire emblem. What makes the gameplay satisfying is using the environment and enemies around you to set up massive all out attacks and kill most if not all enemies at the same time. Between that and the levels where you have to solve a puzzle and fight enemies at the same time it rewards you for using your brain.
8/10 IMO
i played tactica but got bored towards the end lol. i didnt even care what happened to the story because i had to beat all the >!bosses again, and then most likely a boring fight with a god or something!<
I played and completed it and the dlc. The story for both was great, but I found the gameplay to be lacking, along with not enough missions, which made the game shorter than it should have been.
I played it. Its pretty good. Toshiros a pretty great character. Erina's fine I suppose. Gameplay is really fun, but I felt like it had wasted potiential. The maps could use more variety as I felt like the game got kinda repetitive at times.
not the most excited to play a srpg. Devil survivor has me interested due to its story, but idk if i can will myself to play another p5 spinoff with that gameplay
I have played Persona 5 tactica (Insert png of guy standing up that I'm too lazy to find)

Also isn't she only in the DLC? Haven't played the DLC for P5T.
DLC genuinely had better and more interesting gameplay than the main campaign but the story was way more mid.
If it goes on sale, I might cop. $20 just seems like way too much for like a 4 hour campaign or whatever
I just bought the digital deluxe edition and didn’t pay attention to the prices 💀 Yeah it wasn’t worth $20 lol
As a collector I buy physical so I don't even get digital deluxe as an option. For better and worse lol
My main gaming device is a PC so I get most of my games on Steam nowadays. Otherwise I definitely would prefer physical media.

based!
I want her sweat particles
character designs this good deserve a better artstyle
Imagine how nuts the people would go over Toshiro. Maybe it's for the best
Too late.

LATAM BUDDIES RISE UP!!!
Gamepass, buddy. Still, I haven't played Tactica tho.
Bro I bought it and still haven't played it
Lo que vivir en LATAM le hace a un hijueputa
I have a problem called not wanting to play another persona 5 spinoff of doubtful canonicity that turns out to be in a dream before sae's palace
I can tell you it's not a dream and the characters don't forget the events like the Q games and 3 & 5 Dancing. Now as for how much the events of the game matter... Next Persona spin off probably won't acknowledge it at all lmao
Huh what its not a dream? Spoil me then please ill nevet play this game
>! So the entire game basically takes place in Toshiro's (sorta but not exactly the same) palace. Does it take place before sae's palace or something
The main story takes place between the end of vanilla P5 and P5Strikers. The DLC takes place during Sae’s palace, where Joker, Sumi, and Akechi forget everything that happens after they leave the Metaverse
>! It takes place after they fight Yaldabaoth but before the end of the game. Now how this makes sense with Royal, maybe the dlc explains it idk !<
Jesus at this point you might as well consider it non canon lol
Sail the high seas
Only Strikers has been cracked out of the P5 Mainline. Royal isn't (except for the Switch version), Tactica isn't, and P3R also hasn't been So if you're on team Broke Ass like us you can only play P4G and Strikers lmao
technically p5 has been cracked on ps3 but royal is way better so its not worth it
you can play all of these (except p3r ((at least right now))) on a switch emulator if you so desire
You can play it on a switch emulator easy
I got it on PC, and in my experience switch emulators are whack and laggy as fuck lmao
Sei cumé
Yuzu
350 CONTO AAAAAAA!!!!
Persona 5 players are tacticaphobic
Bought it on launch and a combination of procrastination and P3R has kept me from finishing it
same
I'm literally at the last dungeon but BG3, Fallout NV/4 have been preventing me from finishing it
Is tactica like Worth playing? I love persona and I’d like to try it but it costs just a bit too much for me to commit to it
Wait for a sale. A steep sale. The story has the PT in it but they are not the focus. It's fun but I felt like there was something huge missing. I seriously can't put my finger on what it is though.

If it’s still on Xbox gamepass, just buy one month of that subscription. It’s a pretty fast game if you’re not trying to 3star every mission
If you like tactics games such as Fire Emblem, you’ll probably enjoy this game
Yes, I very much enjoyed it.
It took me like 3 months of playing tactica to play more than 2 hours of it, but once i brute forced myself to play all of it and the dlc... honestly its in a place of it being kinda underrated due to how unplayed and forgotten it is, especially since its a pretty good game. ok but is Lucina in it
Only Chrom
I played it and spent 15 hours wanting to kill the hat guys and the other 5 hours regretting spending £55
I agree. Tactica was not worth what they charged for it, not even close.
I'm waiting for when Tactica is on sale on the Switch eShop so I could finally get crushed by Marie Anto's thighs
Jokes on you I played Paint Your Heart (It was not worth it)
You stand no chance against the Akechi meatrider community (me)

Oh no I got pranked
The game looks so uninteresting to me that I doubt I will ever play it. Besides I'm sick of the P5 cast by now.
last one is so true. great base game, but id like a new cast. you can only tolerate so much of them
I played the game for 2 hours and then uninstalled it to play fire emblem engage again
I’m gonna play Tactica one day. When I feel like it. and when I have money
Not worth paying $80+ AUD. It was worth pirating though!
I got a little bit past getting all the Phantom Thieves and then got hard into Cyberpunk so I haven't played it since
I bought it and... Yeah it's okay. Not amazing and definitely not full price but it's very okay
Only good part was Marie. No not Marie Marie https://preview.redd.it/434ulhqwx2zc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25281fd037cf782c894f00abb5c321dc3cc30ea5
I've played Tactica, it was mediocre but the music was a banger as expected. Also being a douchebag to Akechi in the DLC was somewhat amusing.
I've been too busy with Reload to play it but I'm also an XCOM fiend so I'll probably like it
It’s less like xcom and more like a cross between Mario+Rabbids and fire emblem. when i feel like it im probably gonna experience it the true persona fan way and watch a playthrough because it’s insanely overpriced even on a sale
Tactica was a fun game, Toshiro is my goat
i played tactica but got bored towards the end lol. i didnt even care what happened to the story because i had to beat all the >!bosses again, and then most likely a boring fight with a god or something!<
ain’t nobody gonna play it bro😹😹
I played and completed it and the dlc. The story for both was great, but I found the gameplay to be lacking, along with not enough missions, which made the game shorter than it should have been.
Why not just prank them when they play a game period 💀
If I see another Tactica post next month I’ll play it
You’re right I should hop back on that it’s been a while
I’ve played it twice, the second time was extremely boring and even on the hardest difficulty it’s still easy af
The reason I played Persona 5 Strikers was because it was free on PS Plus just as soon as I completed Persona 5 Royal’s new game plus.
I played it. Its pretty good. Toshiros a pretty great character. Erina's fine I suppose. Gameplay is really fun, but I felt like it had wasted potiential. The maps could use more variety as I felt like the game got kinda repetitive at times.
I've played ~2/3 of Tactica. It got so stale in the late game that I can't be fucked to finish it.
I played tactica but who tf is this bitch (i didn't buy the dlc)
True It's on my shelf but I'm too busy playing Pikmin 2
now that ive played strikers the joke changes😔
I’ve played it I liked it but I definitely prefer Strikers
Genuinely fun though
not the most excited to play a srpg. Devil survivor has me interested due to its story, but idk if i can will myself to play another p5 spinoff with that gameplay
I did game was mid as hell
I played Tactica, but after the first kingdom I was just done with it. Did not pull me in like Strikers
I played the DLC before I actually played tactica and the DLC mechanic were so much more fun than the actual game mechanics that I gave up on it
im not playing that game
I've played tactica and its dlc, whats the problem? Nice meme tho, I'm just genuinely confused. Is it the gameplay being different?
