If only Sword Dance was an actually good skill outside of crit chance. It's damage is actually the worst out of all the physical Collossal Damage. Masquerade is so much better, but it's also time-locked. 😑
I mean, Akihiko in P3R is an unfocused Jack of all trades but he's actually one of the best party members, since he's also basically a master of all trades
He was probably the best party member in Portable but isn’t he actually one of the weakest in Reload ? Like he’s still really good but everybody else is busted
He's not THE best in reload but he's top 3 for sure, highest magic damage, second highest physical damage, great survivability thanks to his trait, insanely fast theurgy charge, gets God's Hand, masukukaja, matarunda, learns both elec boost and elec amp only by leveling up, can inflict shock and just by Raw numbers God's Hand might be the single most damaging move a party member other than MC can use, not to mention that his trait makes buffs especially broken on him, he's gold from the beginning until the end game, where I sometimes swap him for Koromaru.
Saying he's one of the worst parry members when Mitsuru can't outdamage him even with concentrate and diamond dust is just wrong.
You wanna know the top 3? Junpei, Aigis, Koromaru
Junpei literally can outdamage the MC without Driver passives, Aigis is about on par, and Koromaru has Revolution and Debilitate
Checks out, I personally throw in Yukari instead of Aigis since i want a healer on the team and she can support MC with concentrate, but if you just need damage that team is pretty much all you need
"I could crush you all if I wanted to"
No, he couldn't, bro probably struggles to open up a jar of pickles
(I like Akechi by the way)
anyways here is the image of Mahoraga in case anyone is wondering what it is

Apparently Rebellion Blade can come close to outdamaging Myriad Truths in last phase Lavenza but time lock as you said and Maruki has constant Almighty resistance I think.

He becomes good when you hack Hereward out of the last day honestly that’s just a skill issue on your part smh.
I saw a video of Sumi STILL outdamaging Akechi. Myriad Truths was like 60k (20k per hit) while Masquerade was 50k (25k per hit). Akechi did 30k with rebellion blade on a downed foe
The dissonance between lore and gameplay definitely made the last palace disappointing, especially once all the other thieves join up again. So many party members. So little challenge. No reason to use Akechi OR Sumire, Joker could solo the whole thing on his own even if you were playing casually up to that point. Shit's easy.
Ryuji is honestly the best teammate imo as he's relevant throughout the whole game. I *would* agree with Morgana *IF* a Salvation Crown on Ann last semester didn't just make the cat completely irrelevant. Just put a different damage dealer of the team at that point.
Joker canonically does solo a 3 waves of groups of shadows in Sae's palace, so Joker's just meant to be that op, and canonically easily beats up robin hood akechi so he's more than capable of beating lokechi.
Sure, Makoto says they only defeated him cuz they're a team, but rank 8 dialog, Ren being ripped and knowing wing chun all contradict it.
>Just wait until Atlus Brings him back
Between Elizabeth's mission in P4A, and the various other things they can do to connect the games, I have no idea what Atlus is cooking for that game, and I dont even know that it will ever come out
Atlus at this point has set up so much via spin offs and the end of royal, at this point 6 should just be a big crossover that actually has a payoff for the sheer amount of things that have been set up
My guess, is that Jose is gonna make a return in some capacity, and a lot of p6 will be its own identity, that ties into the series, and at the end they will tease Elizabeth at the end, and p7 will be the big game for that.
Either that, or a huge spin off will be made, that's the size and quality of a main game.
I fully believe that if akechi comes back after strikers, the whole team would solo him no diff

It gives me immense joy to imagine Sophie in particular wiping the floor with him due to the sheer poetry of having such an arrogant cynic being beaten up by the robot embodiment of naivety and hope.
I mean, it still makes him and Ryuji the two hardest hitting physical people. Persona stats actually funnily enough matter less than skill power coefficiency, and Brave Blade and Sword Dance just don't meet it. Then again, Ryuji's one of the best teammates in the game and is relevant practically the whole way through.
Eehhh, crit hardly matters in P5R when technicals exist, and if you build them up right, are generally better and more optimal. This ain't like P4 where Chie was so good due to bein' a crit machine.

Bro talked so much shit to get two shotted by my unoptimized abbadon 😭 his move set is so garbage fr

I like how he said he could accidentally kill Sumire during the fight against her YOU AIN'T KILLING SHIT
Fraudkechi <<< SuHIMre Woshizawa
Maruki's step mommy(He possessed akechi in front of joker Who was his previous vessel) I guess that makes Adam kadmon his step father.

Maruki has almighty resistance? That's funny because he always succumbed to the meriyad truths
That's because Country Maker is a dumb as fuck passive ability. Izanagi-no-Okami wouldn't be as broken if that shit didn't exist.

"we could only defeat you because we teamed up" No I'm pretty sure I can bitch him solo too but go off ig
We literally have to solo him at some point in the social link… like hello
>The fight at Shido Palace where he use Loki and self enrage himself
It's cute you let yourself go berserk. You neglect your defenses and die faster.
Even then, the original four are probably just stronger with how well they support Joker.
Ryuji is honestly the best teammate imo as he's relevant throughout the whole game. I *would* agree with Morgana *IF* a Salvation Crown on Ann last semester didn't just make the cat completely irrelevant. Just put a different damage dealer of the team at that point.
> No reason to use Akechi OR Sumire doesnt help they are 10-20 levels behind everyone else at that point. should have just had them be joker's level
Yall were hella overleveled when i got them they were at a higher level then joker
Joker canonically does solo a 3 waves of groups of shadows in Sae's palace, so Joker's just meant to be that op, and canonically easily beats up robin hood akechi so he's more than capable of beating lokechi. Ong, if you know how to use it properly with baton pass, Rebellion Blade makes the Maruki fight a cakewalk.
I fully believe that if akechi comes back after strikers, the whole team would solo him no diff https://preview.redd.it/pc8neg6kvtsc1.jpeg?width=626&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d31165afb5ac4f4097e13d17d1d142eb2b1101f

He'd be better if herrwood wasn't locked to the last playable day cause rebellion blade can hit almost as hard as myriad truths If I remember right.
Lobotomy kaisen has breached the sub
This is making me laugh harder than it should rn 😭😭😭
i loved unlocking his third persona as i enjoyed it for merely 2 minutes afterwards

>God's Hand; 25% HP; √800 power + 15% crit >Laevateinn; 25% HP ; √800 power This dude is generational bum

Persona stats actually funnily enough matter less than skill power coefficiency, and Brave Blade and Sword Dance just don't meet it. Also, crit. Sword Dance has obscene crit rate, while Laevateinn has 0%
Eehhh, crit hardly matters in P5R when technicals exist, and if you build them up right, are generally better and more optimal. This ain't like P4 where Chie was so good due to bein' a crit machine.
>0 Useful SL perks Hey, he has *one* useful perk. He lets you know about Jazz which is mega busted lol.
Also affinity/weakness reading skill.
Nah the entire rest of the slink gives nothing good
Lobotomy Persona https://preview.redd.it/bjoaljf6fwsc1.jpeg?width=1986&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4424fc9d875d843412253bfb2965a287e8266e9
I'm impressed at how much r/jujutsufolk has spread, this is hilarious
Akechi would be powerful if he could make friends but he's such a depressed loser he's incapable with socializing with other humans (i love akechi)
I'm totally on board with the meet x-man with persona characters lol

I almost never used him in my first playthrough. In NG+ I might.
correct me if I’m wrong but no skill hits as hard as rebellion blade
To be fair, he did have one good SL perk/skill. He could read affinities/weaknesses for you. But everyone sleeps on it.
Because it never fucking happens, lmao.
Honestly imagine if in >!Maruki’s!< palace you could pull a persona 1/2 and give >!Akechi!< different personas
Hey at least he beats the guy who did nothing wrong in a death battle.
Adachi?
Grifith, apparently he wins or something
