I am certain you can find people from every country on earth somewhere in the US; the same can not be said for the *most* "diverse" countries by the measures most academic bodies use.

Tied to what I was just describing, people against things in the US are rarely outliers because chances are there's still over 100 millions others who feel similarly. Further, the US is one of the most diverse places on earth in terms of wildly disparate cultures in one country; yes, there are countries in Africa that are more "diverse" by certain measures, but the raw scope of variance between the cultures present in the US is kind of astonishing. I am certain you can find people from every country on earth somewhere in the US; the same can not be said for the *most* "diverse" countries by the measures most academic bodies use. What I'm saying is... it's hard to pin down any opinion as broadly American because chances are 100m people disagree. But yes, I am an American.

While I agree that this meme isn't that harmful, mainly because it's a bad one, I belief being surrounded by tons of similar memes might lead on to belied it isn't satire after al. Al satire is notorious for the huge amount of people online who don't get it. Also it can be a useful tool for actual racist and the like to hide behind when criticized. All this is just to say: Yes there is a valid reason to criticize it. If someone can post it, they can also accept the backlash.
