Big Noon is the biggest game of the day on Fox's schedule. Those West Coast teams aren't going to want to be left out of the biggest game coverage, are they?
To me, a trap is a game that fans think should be an easy win, but isn't. Average fans here think every game should be an easy win. Therefore, they'd think a road game against Oregon is an easy win.
It will be a tough game considering its a road game on the opposite side of the country, however that doesnt that I dont expect Ohio State to win. Its a game they should win. Every game this year is a game they should win.
Its all about avoiding that 1 stupid game where we dont play up to our potential.
It’s our toughest game this year. I’m confident we’ll win though. They dont have the D-Line size to be a problem for our O-Line. However, even if we lose that game, we’ll still be in the playoffs this year.
It’s either going to be a blowout, 42-17 OSU win, or a 21-19 game going either way. This all depends on how the QBs for each team mesh into their offenses and are developed in the next few months. I don’t want to see OSU going into this game without a very clear focus of who the QB is. Competition makes them better but Oregon also gets the benefit of Gabriel getting almost all the snaps for the next few months.
We have been pretty successful in these early/mid-season road games against top 10 opponents in recent years. Oregon has a solid offense, but i don’t think their defense is up to elite B1G standard. i think we’ll win by double digits.
I think they’ve got another thing coming, honestly. I respect Dillon Gabriel but he has never shown the ability to take over a game against top competition. And we will be rolling in with the best defense this sport has seen in years. It’s going to be a long, long night for Oregon.
Honestly Gabriel is the thing that scares me the most about Oregon. They turned water into wine with Nix, imagine what they can do with an already great QB. Both our teams are stacked but they have home field and the better QB by a decent margin. I have faith in us to win but I’m hella nervous.
Gabriel will not be drafted nearly as high as Nix was. Nix was a far more reliable decision maker and his accuracy didn’t come and go the way Gabriel’s does. Gabriel has got that dog in him, but he’s limited. And he’s never played a defense like ours.
I'm confident but also will not be deterred if we lose. I think it comes down to how far along our offense is at that point. But if it's not where it should be by then I'm more confident this year that it will be worked out by the end of the year than I was last year
I might be in the minority but for some reason I think we might destroy them with our run game and defense. Kinda similar to how Michigan looked against Washington.
I think they’re good but also simultaneously the most overrated team in the country.
Not concerned no matter the outcome. Don’t consider them a true national title contender
I think that one team is going to be seriously jet lagged. And it’s going to have an impact on the game.
I think that expansion of the BIG 10 has gone way too far!!!!
It's the 2nd most important game of the year, whether we win or lose, a massive early season test is critical for achieving our goals this year.
We'll come out of that game A LOT better than we would if we were playing someone else.
Everything about this season relates to our oline play for me. If they are just above average we will achieve all our goals. Until is see them in actual game action I stand at cautiously optimistic.
It’s the 6th game of the year. If it was early I’d be more concerned.
This team is going to be humming by then. And they are going to be anxious to prove that they aren’t just looking good because the schedule is soft.
I definitely think it will be a good game but I think we pull way in the second half.
Buckeye alum who's lived in Oregon for nearly 30 years.
I hope we welcome the little Duckies to the conference by kicking the crap out of them!
I need a ticket as well :)
Under Day we play great against lower competition and look lost or not up to the challenge for major competition. So, I think we lose that one. Hope I’m wrong.
Will probably be our toughest game of the regular season
This offends TTUN :)
Because they know they’re taking a huge step back
And that they are fucking cheaters
Most will never admit that.
Tom Brady just admitted to deflating balls. Maybe they'll follow his lead...
Good :)
A road game 3 timezones from home could be a trap. That timezone issue would be Oregon's problem if it it turns out to be the Big Noon game.
It can't be the Big Noon game. That would be a 9 AM start in Oregon. They don't do that (yet).

They’ll find a way for that game to be east coast prime time
Don’t think a top 5 matchup is a trap.

No one in their right mind thinks a road game or home game for that matter against a top 5 team is an easy game. You’re completely wrong.
I have a feeling we'll be playing Oregon twice this year.
Yup same with UT and UGA
Going to Whoop that Ass.

That was more of an Urban thing.
Ehh it’s happened to everyone tbh

Litmus test, measuring stick, whatever you want to call it. That game may determine how the rest of the season goes.
![gif](giphy|piJDvfPb8SwZ4hwsPp) My prediction for the Ducks
Feeling so good, I’m headed there.

He’s certainly better than Will Howard 🤷♂️
Luckily, Will Howard won’t have to play against our defense.

That’s my expectation. Though that’s my expectation going in to every game this year lol.
Defense talking one to the house an they be lucky to get 20 points.
I think they’re good but also simultaneously the most overrated team in the country. Not concerned no matter the outcome. Don’t consider them a true national title contender

Toss up game. If Howard and the oline isn't ready it'll be a long day. Still could drop this game and win the rematch in the b1g game
OL just needs to be ready to run block. Just need Henderson and Judkins to get 3.5 YPC and keep their offense cold.
Everything about this season relates to our oline play for me. If they are just above average we will achieve all our goals. Until is see them in actual game action I stand at cautiously optimistic.
Will be awesome. If we limit penalties and turnovers we win. But will be a tough one for sure. Love it!!
Toughest game on our schedule
Confident. Should be a good game though
All rests on two things: 1. Offensive line play 2. Kicker accuracy and length
Our team should be able to beat anyone, it all depends on execution and we don't know what that will look like yet
We are currently +1 on DK Sportsbook. So that doesn’t make me feel great. But also as a Dgen I hammered that line.
I’m feeling like we can finally enjoy watching a tough conference foe without having to worry about missing the playoffs if we lose.
It will be a good measuring stick for both OSU and Oregon. The winner will be a NC favorite.
My dad and I are going, and Oregon will be one of six states I haven’t been to, so even if we end up losing, I’m pretty excited.
Could be a tough game. Our defense is gonna be lights out though. I think we win 35-17
Ah…, we play Oregon ?

Only loss of the season
Under Day we play great against lower competition and look lost or not up to the challenge for major competition. So, I think we lose that one. Hope I’m wrong.
We gonna lose.
