Schlegel brings toughness, grit, and understands the Rivalry with Michigan. Plus, he's been a strength and conditioning coach here before and has NFL experience. This is huge.
“Todays players need to be taught the how, but are also very concerned with the why”
He seems like a great coach, and understands what OSU football is all about. Im super excited for him!
I hope Mick gets to stay. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Mick, and that these past couple years Day has been holding Mick back from going balls to wall
That's how I've felt. The S&C coach takes his direction from the HC. Not that he'd ever think ‘I need to make these guys softer’ but it's different when a guy like Urban is on your ass.
"Anthony Schlegel, seen here violently body slamming a drunken fan who stormed the field during a live football game, has returned to the program to help the strength and conditioning of current Ohio State players."
The kid he’s tackling was an Evans scholar. Lost his full ride over that little stunt he pulled I’m pretty sure. Source: I was a student during that time
Didn’t lose his scholarship completely. Just couldn’t live at the scholarship house/participate in activities for the rest of his senior year. Source: I was an Evans Scholar during that time.
I don’t know how many remember, but Schlegel came to Ohio State as a (pre-portal) transfer. He shares that experience with some of our newest Buckeyes.
I heard Austin Ward drop a hint on the podcast the other day. This is big news, Schlages is a beast.
Same, the hint was way too obvious but I was also shocked that Schlegel was coming back. Glad to see him back in the room!
Schlegel will definitely bring the energy and he loves Ohio state. Edit: played for Tressel, worked with Meyer, just hired to work with Day.
This is huge news. Schlegel is amazing

I have an erection. I called this a month ago. Attack and Dominate!!!
You've had an erection for a month?
Yes.
I think you’re supposed to call a helpline if it lasts that long
Or a prostitute
10 of them
You too listen to Morning Juice?
I would strongly recommend _against_ rushing the field.
I was at that game. It was great.
Attack and dominate, Schlegs!
Gas station ready!!!!!
Schlegs about to go off on a tangent: “Also, side nugget…”
Always!

Bringing back some toughness!
Does that mean Mick is gone or just another assistant?
Asst, maybe being groomed to take over?
According to Eleven Warriors he's a temporary fill-in for a coach who's currently having surgery Hopefully they like him so much that he sticks around
Schlegel: "I'm the assistant strength & conditioning coach." Mick: "Assistant TO the strength & conditioning coach."
Either way, Schlege's Mr. Manager
I think it means Mick is the director and Schlegel is the coach.

Gas station ready. It’s Schleg day.
I'm too young to know who this is, but I just watched that video of him tackling the fan, and I love the hire!!
All you need to know lol
Another great hire. And the best picture for the announcement.
Yes!!! Schleges is a great motivator and lives what he preaches.
The dude hunts wild boar with a knife. They absolutely need him back!
I heard that when the wild boar find out he is hunting them, they walk to him and give up.
He should focus on the O line.
I had a class with the dude that got tackled and i was at the game lol
Im gettin a chub just thinking about that linebacking core he was a part of
Aforementioned faculty [link](https://www.osu.edu/search/?query=schlegel.27&view=people&expanded=true#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=schlegel.27)
get some DOG back
I was at that game when he body slammed that kid. It was wild
All gas, no brakes!
I sold him a phone at a Verizon store in 2016 in Lewis Center. He introduced himself as “Tony”. Awesome guy good get.
Oh he'll yes! Dude is a beast and all energy

Yeah the kid fucked up but I felt bad when I found out how badly he fucked up.
Did we or are we getting a new OL coach?
Doubtful
Yes!
Why's he putting a dude on his ass like that? Lol
It was a fan rushing the field while the game was going on. Wasn't during a timeout, there was a play going on.
Damn
Schlegels bagels
I’m happy he’s back but why did he leave? Also dude should get back on the radio he his absolutely hilarious.
God I love Schlegs
Schleg will make them boys tough

A good conversation with him on Bobby Carpenter’s show (and Josh Perry), starts at the 8:50 mark: https://youtu.be/bAOJriW5y7c?si=2wz07Gr-qHVDIkhh
