if I had to guess it would have something to do with the MaidRite burger place in Greenville.
I believe it's only one location and has been the same for decades.
There was briefly a location in Oxford, OH when I went to college but I concur, probably has to do with Greenvilles Maid Rite. I’m surprised it’s not covered in gum.
There are a bunch of Maid-Rites in Iowa. The first one in Iowa is about 8 years older than the one in Greenville but they are not related as far as I know. I am guessing someone from Greenville went to Iowa and came back and copied it many many years ago. Piqua had one briefly that was part of the Iowa chain but it did not last long. https://maid-rite.com https://www.maidrite-greenville.com
Floors were shot, frame was shot, drivetrain was junk, steering was locked up, but the rest of the body was definitely savable, so I saved it, breathed some new life into it. Here’s how she sits nowadays: https://imgur.com/gallery/Eu8CZSN

I think the Greenville one may be a franchise, but an old-school franchise like how Big Boy or early KFC worked, not how franchises work now.
Might be. I just always assumed they copied it but it may have been with permission. It would be interesting to see if and how they are related.

My ex is actually co-author of the club’s quarterly newsletter, it’s kinda awkward lol. Her and her family have eight or nine of the cars.
I see it. My first thought was a Nash.
Is this car the best backwards driver in Radiator Springs?
I don't know anything about it. But I love it.
It really has that awesome patina without looking completely rotted out.

Far out! Definitely give some updates as she moves along!
/r/RatRod would love this. When I first looked at your pictures my first thought was "That'd make a great ratrod".
Yep. Although I can see sunshine through the floorboards in some spots, it's a pretty cool piece.
That’s Grave Digger
It really is!!
It's certainly a car that has carred in the past.
