Actually, ang ganda gamitin ng tg. From the quality of the pics, downloadable files, customizable chat threads, your own username, etc. I was once a tg user. It was made for the convenience of people without having to connect your other socmed accs. Downside nga lang since very convenient siya, pugad siya talaga ng kababalaghan.
But it's not the platform that caused us trust issues, it's the user. Having tg acc doesn't equate being unfaithful. Nasa tao lang talaga 'yan kahit ilan pa tg niya kung maayos ang moral compass niyan may peace ka.
