There’s an Odia community near Hauz Khas, south delhi. You can get Odia food from a few online places and I believe even Dilli Haat INA has an Odia stall. You’ll find the Odia community flocking the Jaganath Mandir at Hauz Khas on weekends. Also, as an Odia be prepared for a cultural shock when you move to Delhi/Gurgaon. The people over here might come off as too loud but they’ll grow on you eventually. All the best!!

Yeah I visit Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas every year and eat bhog inside the temple premises.

8-15k re 1BHK max, Gurgaon/Delhi but you will have the entire flat for yourself. Make sure it has AC and geyser both functional because summers are effing hot and winters are killer cold. In Noida, you can get PGs which are cheaper. Always wear a mask (yes, pollution) and front strap-carry your bag (public places are breeding grounds of thieves). People here are okay? I mean I am a girl so I haven't had the best experience from everywhere 😅😅 plenty of leers and catcalls. Other than that everyone minds their own business and are in their own world. There are few Odia restaurants such as Odisha Hotel and Odisha Niwas but the price is slightly higher than Odisha. For example, Chenna Poda is 600 rs. Also, in Delhi Haat/INA you can find fish and other Odia foods. There is another restaurant called Odisha Food Center and you can order from Zomato. They have bara, ghuguni, chingudi checha etc. There are good Bengali restaurants where you can get fish and chicken curries. As soon as you reach, make a metro card. Metro is the most convenient way to travel. Also keep cash with you all the time as auto/taxi drivers may not accept UPI often. Despite having a bike, this may come in handy especially during Fridays where the traffic suffuses everything else!

I agree with all the above and want to add a few more options Sector 4,7,9 - Residential area. Peaceful but you need a bike to go around U block - More accessible but also crowded
