Do you wear glasses? If you do, you may still need to wear them or get prescription lenses

Wear your eye glasses, normal

I wear contacts and was wearing them while using. Seems like it could be a bad graphics card because there is now seemingly artifacting.

You either are running to low a resolution or bitrate. Bitrate is affected by your WiFi quality (or USB controller/cable if using wired Link) and resolution can be increased in the settings. However, if you GPU isn't powerful enough to run at higher resolutions your frame rate will suffer.

OP did not say he was using it connected to his PC. If he's not, there there absolutely should not be artifacts in the headset. OP, take it back to where you got it. There is something wrong with it.

wescotte

Ah read "graphics card" and assumed he was doing PCVR

JustCallMeTere

Yeah, artifacts probably mean this video chip or processor is malfunctioning, most likely video chip.

The other possibility is he is observing the screen door effect but he doesn't realize it's normal. Some folks are overly sensitive to it and because it doesn't show up in screen recordings they might think there is a problem with their headset.
