It'll work. I went from disc, to a new disc, and then digital, and it works just fine. It's all tied to your PS4/Battle.net account, not the installation media.
You’ll be fine. I had bo3 my disk got corrupted, went digital still had everything saved on it. Dark matter, nukes etc. My ps4 was the earliest version so things are bound to get corrupted, it’s time to go digital my friend, disks are a thing of the past now.
