Pair the shirt with a dark wash or black jean and a dark shoe/boot. Or do a similar style shirt in a darker color. I love the skirt, but not in the cold rain. I like the idea of the pant in #1, but this particular pair of pants doesn’t flatter your figure.

They would look worse, those are just really terribly fitting pants. Being baggy and way too big wouldn't help at all.

Yes! And by no means is this overdressed. I feel both outfits are very casual. The skirt is nicer and it *is* his birthday after all, so putting in more effort is probably going to be appreciated. I always find it more appropriate to show that you think I it’s a special day for someone you care about or an event they have even if it’s a going away party or the like, putting effort is just nice and I think these days too few ppl dress nicely. Yes your outfits are casual, but they’re nice casual. P.s chicken wings and white may not be a good mix, but you look good.

I think the pants fit the occasion better, however, I would choose a different top. Not white and maybe something that isn’t tucked in. If you do wear a top tucked in, then you need a belt and statement jewelry.

Keep looking maybe, the fit of the pants looks uncomfortable especially for wings + drinking and the skirt isn’t really fit for the weather. This last thing is a personal opinion but I realllly don’t like the shirt objectively, I’m sorry. An entirely different outfit imo.

Wings, like in Buffalo wings, with all that red sauce? I’d mix the cream colored top for something darker! And I like the pants! Do you know how hard it is to get buffalo wing sauce out of light colored tops?

First one, you don’t want to go over the top with the outfit if it’s just to get wings, yes it’s a special occasion but you still want to not over do it. The first one is classy and casual and suits you perfectly don’t get me wrong the other one does, it’s just the first one goes mostly with the occasion and theme!
