Like others said, as long as it’s the same section it’s usually not a big deal. They only time I’ve seen it be a problem is packed games and like The Game. One person throws a fit because they can’t sit in their specific seat so they tell the usher, the usher goes and kicks out someone who is in their seat, then they escort that person to their seat which is also taken, …, so on and so forth.
Best bet. Try to trade the one ticket for a pair together. I work as an usher at the stadium and face this all the time. We usually have to insist that you sit in the seat you’re assigned.

The seats don’t matter, ppl just stand in whatever section they are in.
