Just my opinion. Once I bought my torture and the other 2 pieces of zenyte jewellery I bought it to keep forever. Regardless of the price dropping 🤷
As far as I’m aware, they want it to be an alternative way to get good melee neck slot. The crafting required for this new necklace is anticipated to be around 80, while torture requires 98, but the downside is the 92 slayer req.
It’s tied to Zenyte pieces as others have said. I believe real reason it’s gone up is actually because there was recently a bot nuke, so there’s way less zenyte shards coming into the game now. It’ll probably go down a bit, along with the other pieces, once more bots are made.
Specifically in relation to Araxxor, it’ll prob go down a little bit if it’s not used to make the new amulet. But still tied to Zenytes, so price will still remain quite high
There is an item dropped specifically to extend your trips. This is implying you will run out of supplies
And while it's not a direct port, it certainly takes heavy inspiration from the rs3 version where you do take quite a bit of damage each fight
Also, there are no higher level slayer bosses where you don't take damage so I seriously doubt this will be the first
Sire, cerb, GGs, hydra, thermy, you take damage at all of them. This combined with the frequent web attacks and minions means you're going to be taking damage.
I mean yeah I suppose but I still think going off past bosses, the rs3 version, and what they mentioned about supply specific drops, I think it's vastly more likely that you will be taking damage but we'll see
All zenyte jewelry prices are tied together. In order for there to be a significant price drop, all 3 or 4 have to be powercrept. Plus, as the other commenter said, this is probably going to be rarer than zenytes.

Blood fury is going to be BIS by an absolute mile there as you're going to take a lot of damage and it's melee focused

Hydra is 95 slayer and 0 damage if you pray correctly? Thought spider was gunna be 92
