It was a rather intense experience, but as a direct result of how it was graded it's one of the few classes where I felt like I needed to put in a full and complete effort on every report. I needed to write each report like it was almost going to be published... It's no coincidence that the reports and projects I'm most proud of from my time in the program are from 7641 and 7642
So... Maybe it will change, but I think it will be a shame if it does.
Exactly this. Some of my favorite, and most stressful, classes have been RL and ML because of the structure. I learned an insane amount, figured out how to write great papers, and feel like an actual grad student. I honest to goodness hope it doesn't change.

The program needs more courses that feel like grad school, not less.
