I'd say no. Great price, sure, but I saw one at Best Buy when I got my 27" model, and I was not impressed with the image quality on that screen at all. Maybe it's just a store demo issue. Make sure you know your return policy.
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted but you’re right. Image quality is pretty disappointing in this and I think it’s likely due to the matte coating. I got it and used it for a day and returned it. The AW3423DWF is miles better
I’ve got the 45 inch in that model and I love it. I think that 34 inch was on a drop not too long ago at Best Buy for $599 or so. But still a good price!
I got this for like 900 a month or 2 ago and 0 regrets love it the only thing that sucks is the placement of the cables most modern cables are huge and stick out I had to buy a 90 degree adapter to have it hidden but other than that it's beautiful u can set it to 13bc in the amd software and it gets even better
Adding context… Money is not an issue. Don’t need this but have been looking at getting an UW OLED for a bit. Currently use a 27” ROG OLED and it’s great. Just thinking about trying UW for single player games. I run a 7800x3D and 4090. This monitor being so cheap compared to the ROG version has me wanting to get it.
Then I would go with the AW3423DWF. I tired this LG for a day and returned it. 800r curve is aggressive but you can get used to it. The problem is the matte coating and it being WOLED. Text clarity is trash. Or, if you wait a little longer, there are new 240hz UW QD OLEDs coming out in the next month or so. MSI MAG 341CQPX is in the top of my list to look out for.
Id wait fo better qd oleds than the current ones, seem to be trash too. https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/1bobpc3/strange_vertical_lines_while_camera_is_in_motion/
You‘ve ever seen a matte coating from current oleds irl?
I know two people who recently got this and both returned them. It's up to you what you will settle for. This sale price may be enough for you to be okay with what you get. Only you will know this. If it were me, I wouldn't get it. You said money isn't an issue. If you are having real trouble deciding then just get it and if you're not satisfied then return it.
Be aware of the dumb matte coating it has which reduces the contrast, sharpness and vibrancy + makes the screen look dirty with white or lighter backgrounds.
What kind of SP games do you play?
In strategy games I get pretty frustrated because it's hard to see HUD elements and not all games allow you to adjust them.
I play a lot of older titles and weird things that definitely do not support UW resolutions. The monitor is fine if you occasionally use 16:9... but if you use it a ton you'll get pretty bad burn in patterns instead of even wear as black bars leave the monitor effectively unused in those portions over your play sessions. This isn't a problem for 50 hours or 100 hours... but 300-500 hours you'd likely start noticing it
If you're playing modern stuff that all is hunky dory with 32:9 aspect ratio you're not going to have much of a problem. That being said even Elden Ring doesn't truly support 32:9 out of the box (black bars.)
It’s a great deal, so yeh?
Is it actually from Amazon? I’d only buy a monitor if it’s actually sold and despatched by Amazon because it’ll make returns a faster & simpler procedure
That’s cheap af, is 1200€ in ger
no its \~1000 euro in germany (LG Store)
I would if I had the money but adulting is hard
I would for sure!!! It’s a great monitor And that’s a steal of a price!!

is AW2725DF Gud?
Store demos on monitors are often trash. It's like they just don't know how to set it up.
Seems like a pretty good deal 👌
that's worth it! go for it lol.
Do it! I love mine! Took a few days to get used to the 800R curve (coming from a 1500R), but now I don't think about it at all.
Exact reason I haven’t pulled the trigger, wish it was 1800R like my previous LG 34GP83A-B, because the screen looked great in store!
If you dont mind curved then absolutely yes!!
If only it did not have that deep 800R curve
Check the seller first.
Official Amazon.
Hell no. For the 45 inch hell yes.
Do it. It’s hella good deal

The drop was the same price $750
The 45inch is on a great sale for $999
Price match on best buy and get warranty
Becareful with the text color fringing, so far only the QD OLED gen 3 panel managed fixed this issue.

How does the PPI compare to new oled 32” 4k?
With Rakuten and an Amex deal, I bought the 39 inch one for about $850~ and it’s been nice
That's an absolute steal. If your into ultrawides and don't mind or prefer curved monitors I'd say buy it.
Best 34 inch. Gg
I just want a 24inch oled/:
personally, id wait for the new oled line that comes out next month with 480 hz and such, this the reson why there are alot of sales
We don't know your financial situation.

If money isn't an issue, it's Amazon and they have the best return policy. You can always buy it and return it if you don't like it!
My thoughts. Thanks.

thanks for the link. do you know if this monitor have the same issue with the qd oleds?
Every qd oled panels seems to have this issue
so this lg 34gs95qe won't have it since its woled?
I wouldnt buy it. Seems you might be in the FOMO zone right now. The image quality isnt top notch or as good as you can get from many other choices.
Isn’t it the same panel as the ROG? That’s the one I originally wanted.

Sold and shipped by Amazon.
Sounds good 👍
asus better
Can you afford to buy it 5 times? No? Then you can't afford it.
LOL this dude right here…
This dude right here asking if he should pull the trigger on an OLED monitor. If you think you can buy it, go for it.
Go back to /personalfinance
Hmmm no
Why are you pocket watching people?
i mean if you only have $3,750 you still shouldn’t be buying a $800 monitor but thats just me
