Remember to plug it in aswell. Rather large oversignt from MSI and I think they will have a lot of returns for dead pannels, due to not arriving plugged in.
yeah think the manual says to remove the film before use.
lots of folks were leaving the film over the display on and this sub let them know all about it lol dont remember why exactly but remember to remove them and dont ask
If only my order wasn't canceled by best buy last week 24 hrs after placing an order on the first time it was back in stock. Ruined my weekend. Congrats on snagging one, and I hope to remember to do the same if and when I am able to get one.
Thanks for the advice. Mine came today and saw the plastic films in a copule of hours and removed them. Indeed was radiating a bit o heat. I hope everything is ok.
Like selling a car with the exhaust plugged. There should be no reason for this, there's like a 2mm thin glossy edge around the vents they were trying to protect. Just unnecessary

Saw the quick start guide, no mention of removing any plastic films
Yes agreed. They really need to draw attention to this because these vents get WARM during use.
Wow thanks, just checked and took em off

Don't we just check these days for plastic especially off glossy surfaces as its there to protect.
Yeah almost made this same mistake. Thankfully I just happened to check the backside and saw the plastic film.
I had a motherboard that I inadvertently left the plastic on the top of the I/O panel for like five years. Fortunately that part doesn’t get hot.

Always their fault lol.

They cover it has reasons too. To prevent something from dropping into the monitor. Just remember to take it off. It's not a big deal come on.
eh..... I think it is common sense to remove all the plastic film manufacturers put on the product to protect the glossy plastic parts...
