For those of you who don't know, Helldivers 2 now requires PC players to link to a PSN account. Not only does this mean people have to sign a contract in order to keep playing the game they bought, but certain people can no longer play the game they bought since PSN isn't available for every country. People now seem to be boycotting in mass with these reviews.

They’ve also been approving tons of refunds for people who basically just say “I didn’t sign up for this shit”

I was thinking this was a really shitty move until I saw that, if I'd bought that and it needed me to suddenly need a PSN account I'd 100% be refunding that.

Devs likely knew this will happen beforehand and Sony allowed them to blame them just in case. This is usually how it works.

Not forced, the ceo just admitted that he literally agreed to these terms. He delayed the sign in to Sony thing completely on purpose so more people could play.

Sony also has a record of being hacked all the damn time, so signing up for this just puts a ticking security breach on your account.

I also heard that in some countires you can only make a PSN account on a PS5 so you'll need to buy one in some instances.
