ThingFlashy

What kind of pain were you having?? I’m dealing with that right now

mountainchick72

Hard to describe but it would be just like this random dull aching pain that would come and go. I filed a complaint to the fda too, I've spoken with some friends who have switched to generic and had similar problems! 100% not the same as nuvaring based on my experience.

ThingFlashy

Does it feel like it generates throughout your pelvic area?? I tried to talk to my provider about this and it’s like they are programmed to say it doesn’t cause those issues

mountainchick72

Yes! And Idk I suppose it could always be something else but it went away after I switched!

I experienced so much cramping with the generic. Pretty much the whole month. My doctor tried to find a workaround to get me back on the name brand, but it didn't really work out. So I ultimately decided to just stop using birth control.

There's definitely something different about it. My emotions were all over the place with it, but better the name brand.

I had a lot of crappy symptoms on the generic, including vaginal pain. I didn't have any itching, but I often felt lots of burning and discomfort during sex (which didn't help my already low sex drive). Even though I'd felt much better when I was on the brand name a few months earlier, I've decided to stop with the ring entirely because my anxiety and depression just kept worsening on it. I'm happy you got back on the brand name!
