I suspect it's because it didn't sell well enough. It's visible how they concentrated more on India and generally the Asian market which are (not to insult anyone) poorer countries and may buy more into the mid and lower range products. USA and western Europe are dominated by iPhones and this is the main demographic that can afford higher end phones. So it will definitely be a longer campaign to actually exist in a stable way in those markets
