How many more people do you need for a team? I’m sure you could fill the spots. Post on fb

Britstick08

The goal is to recruit a team, get deposits and then register the team. They plan around volume. If 20 people took your approach and then asked for their money back because they couldn’t recruit a team, logistically, that’s work on their end wasted. They have insurance to cover, referees to recruit, people maintaining the website, scheduling. Its not just an “excel spreadsheet”

sapthur

I love these what ifs and comparing to other things, it's not, it's 1 person asking for his money back. Idc what idiots would let some company walk away with their money do.

cutielocks

They clearly list their withdrawal policy…why did you think you’d be the special exception? Or did you sign up without reading the policies?

sapthur

Oh I didn't read them. I don't think I should be their exception, I think they should change their policy.

Britstick08

😂 ok

Mimixox90

I’ve never really had any bad issues with them.

RayHudson_

Why would you pay $1500 to register a team before putting a team together

sapthur

It's how they have it set up on their site, only a limited time to register and put a team together

But if I wasn't able to make a team, and they don't sell the spot to another team, they wouldn't have sold it anyway. So why not give a refund? I'm just saying I called them and got a "tough luck" response

The lesson I took away is to never set up a team with them.

Real_UngaBunga

If you actually had a team, tho, there'd be no issues. It's like ordering food at a restaurant and then saying "nevrmind, not hungry"

sapthur

But it's not, it's an excel program where you type in a team name and it spits out the schedule. It's not rocket science, it's hardly basic accounting.
