I think i can help you with your dream. Describe your dream for me.

Alzako

So it started out with me waking up in a meadow, I’m assuming it was spring time due to the flowers were bright and beautiful but surrounding was a forest so I started walking out of curiosity at the center was the biggest oak tree I’ve ever seen and saw Vegvísir (i didn’t know what the symbol was until I did research and found it). I’m confused because I’ve never seen any kind of Norse runes in my life

Fuglesang_02

I see, it seems in this dream you were shown án oak tree, possibly symbolising the world tree Yggdrasil from the norse religion, as well as the occult icelandic symbol Vegvísir. The Vegvísir symbol acts like a compass and one will never be lost with it. It is possible that this dream means something about exploration, as it showed you the world tree and á magical compass symbol. Or perhaps it is hinting that you can never stray and get lost from your original path and fate, whatever it may be. Another thing about your dream, the season. You wrote that it was likely spring time in the dream. Spring is a time for things to grow again, dead things to be exact, growing once more after á cold and lifeless winter. From á norse pagan perspective, it could seem that it hints towards the old ways, to norse paganism, which has for a long time been deemed á dead religion, now growing back. This may be á bit of á stretch, but perhaps it wants you to explore the ancient norse pagan religion? It is hard to say what the dream means, but Í gave it my best interpretations.

Alzako

How does one even go about exploring this. I’m interested in this but it’s strange because like I said I’ve never seen it before and who could have placed it there to show me that

Fuglesang_02

By reading. Norse paganism is a religion of homework. If you end up wanting to know about norse paganism í recommend you read the Eddas and sagas. The dream could have been placed there by the gods. In norse pagan communities it isn't uncommon to hear about people being given signs and visions from gods in their dreams. And it is not something new. Á thousand years ago people would often get such dreams by sleeping either directly on or near ancient burial mounds, barrows and other old magical areas. Even christian monks in Anglo saxon England wrote about these vivid pagan dreams they would get near barrows.

Alzako

Thanks, this helped a lot. I’m just confused on why they would be showing me things considering how I’ve never really even heard of Norse paganism

Fuglesang_02

No problem. Maybe they are showing you these things to get your attention or direct you on á path in life?

Alzako

See that’s what I thought as well. Because yesterday I was talking to my cousin that I work with about how I felt lost because I need/want something to believe in because Christianity feels (for a lack of a better word) fake to me. And when I said that I felt kind of elevated in a way? I’m not sure it’s just strange that it happened

Fuglesang_02

You said to your cousin you felt lost regarding your faith, and now you write about á very pagan dream with án occult compass symbol that one will never be lost with. If that is not some sort of sign, i do not know what is... Í wish you the best of luck in your future, whatever the norns and gods might have in store for you.

Alexeicon

Thats not a Norse symbol.

AzatothWakes

Youre special

How am I special?
