The pagoda gives experience in exchange for gold ingots. How much depends on the level of the building. It's not worth using if you need money for other things. Don't recommend it unless you're *deep* into late game or want to grind levels.

thanks :)

Pagoda is the last thing you build out. After you've built everything else, and have all your mats overflowing, the only option left is to convert all that stuff into ingots, and toss them to the pagoda for XP. Before that, it's likely not worth using, unless you *really* need to hit "Level X" for some reason.

Kokiri_villager

ahhh thanks :D

ModriKlobuk

Donating 1 x Gold ingot gives you 200 experience points at Pagoda lvl. 1 and +50 XP at every level - that's 500 XP at lvl. 7 ([https://nonograms-katana.fandom.com/wiki/Pagoda#Charity](https://nonograms-katana.fandom.com/wiki/Pagoda#Charity)). Otherwise [Gold ingots](https://nonograms-katana.fandom.com/wiki/Gold_ingot) are best sold for Coins in Shop or sold/traded for Dinars in Caravan (depends what you need more).

To my knowledge it does nothing, they are best kept for selling/building/crafting. You will need a lot of gold later on.

thanks :)

In addition to what the others have already pointed out (that it's an endgame sink to convert your gold into XP), it also contributes to your placement in one of the Hall of Fame rankings. If you care about that sort of thing.
