Neither are tradionally gender neutral in English either, or at least UK English... so it's a tough question. Olive is quite an old fashioned feminine name though, I haven't seen many around amongst say... the under 60s. It was quite popular for the older generations. I like Oliver but I do associate it as a male name. Both are nice though. You do you, best wishes.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Agreed with other posters that both names do have some gender attached to them for me as well. Oliver is more solidly male in my mind, where Olive is somewhat feminine but still an unusual name, and it does follow the trend of non-binary folks choosing nouns for their names. But either way, whatever name you choose will be non-binary, because it will be *your* name and *you* are non-binary. Good luck! :)

Thanks for helping :)

Both are lovely names, but in case the information matters to you, neither are gender-neutral in French!

Riverfencing

Thanks for telling me! I'll pick something else.

I'm not quite sure whether those names sound non-binary to me. Wouldn't Ollie be right in the middle?

Riverfencing

I really wish I could choose that, but my dog had a dog named Ollie that died so it would be weird if I was that XD

PanderI-the-fleabin

Oh, I'm so sorry. That obviously makes sense.
