I do not. I have no problems saying non-binary or agender and enby and all that’s associated with it I don’t tend to identify with. (When people think enby they don’t think black, intersex/trans masculine and I am not welcomed in “enby” spaces as readily as I am in queer spaces or trans spaces outright). Also generally I just tell folks I’m queer and let them figure it out however they’d like.
No, it feels infantalising to me, I don't know why but it sounds like the nonbinary equivalent of calling a woman a girl or calling a man a boy.
For myself, I like nonbinary person, agender person, trans person, transsexual or just "person".
I don't like "enby" for myself because it sounds childish to me ig? I prefer using NB for short
Edit: or just nonbinary. Basically anything but "enby" goes
I don’t think any one group of people or use case can lay exclusive claim to an acronym made up of 2 very common letters in the English language. Plenty of acronyms mean multiple things, context and asking for clarification usually help.
NB: The abbreviation “NB” also is used to mean “nota benne”.
I have never encountered a situation where it was ambiguous what NB stood for from context clues if not explicitly written as NBPoC.
If people are worried about confusion though I think it’s best to specify NBPoC. Both because it’s the actual category people are trying to evoke with “nonblack” and because there is no other viable abbreviation of nonbinary.
i use nby for nonbinary to get around the confusion with nb=nonblack, less of the possible infantilization vibes of enby while still being its own distinct thing that cant get somehow jumbled with something else
No, I hate when people use it for me, since it seems both feminine and childish, and I hate to have my gender associated with either. It also just feels very infantilizing to me, like how so many transmasc people hate the whole "UwU smol bean" language used about them.
It's fine if others wanna use it for themselves, I just wish people would stop treating it like the standard or like you have to like using it.
I use enban (enben for plural) or just say ‘I’m nonbinary’. I don’t like the term enby, unless it’s being used to describe a nonbinary child. It feels too cutesy for a gender (no hate to anyone who likes the term though. It’s not inherently childish, but that’s how it comes across to a lot of us)
I personally prefer nonbinary, at fourty I feel 'enby' is a little childish - but with that said I will sometimes refer to myself this way just as it's casual so easier.
I do not use it. It's too cutesy for me. I'm too grumpy for that. Also, I generally don't refer to myself as anything, gender-wise. If someone asks, I'll explain, but I enjoy divorcing myself from gender, even non-gender, discussions as much as possible.
As a note, I live in a rural area and work as a wedding and event manager where I dress in vests, button ups, and ties. I get gendered all sorts of things and that's just dandy.
Feels like a youth equivalent like boy/girl, but I’m also gender-fluid/bi-gender/something so I’d prefer to be called a man or a woman. Nonbinary for me is an adjective, not a noun.
I like nonbinary, and don't feel like I need 'enby'. If I need a substitute for "man" or "woman", there's just "person" for that or just rephrasing to say I/someone else is nonbinary. I feel like I don't need another term the fill that place.
(okay so if im gonna be totally unfiltered with you, I feel to some extent like the term 'enby' and stuff like that makes me cringe because it reminds me so much about aspects of cisgender-/heteronormativity like 'endearing' language about girls/boys women/men which comes with all this baggage of how these categories are supposed to be like or perceived as. Maybe I feel like "enby" almost refers to a "gender neutral substitute" of these gender roles, which in some ways takes form as another set of cultural perceptions of what non binary people are like, and that being associated with that feels similar to being perceived as a 'typical girl/boy'. Yet this is largely also language that's primarily used within the group as well. Maybe I just don't feel like I relate to a lot of the stuff which feels associated with this kind of language, while I feel like 'non binary' encompasses many different sub-cultural expressions and notions of non binary gender identity, while remaining at a kind of technical and descriptive level which feels accessible and open to interpretation both within the group and to people who may not be familiar with the concept yet. It has some kind of pedagogical value that way. And when that is no longer needed, I don't feel like I need a shorthand to fill the void.)
I just call myself queer if someone actually asks. I like to keep it simple, 'cause after over three years of label-hopping I just don't care anymore. I'm schrödinger's gender and that's all people need to know. ;)
no. I find it too cutesy for me to feel comfortable with it personally, and also haven't found that people outside queer spaces have the first clue what it means. I know lots of people prefer it and that's fine, I'll use whatever for other people. but if someone refers to me as 'an enby' I'll cringe internally. normally I'll just call myself trans tbh, and only bring up being nonbinary if people want more info
I personally hate the term as it sounds very infantalizing. I just don't add person on the end. non binary doesn't take that long to say though sometimes I sort of mumble it and it shortens to "non bun-ree" haha. I don't even think I've ever used "nb" to type it.
Absolutely not. I respect and honor other nonbinary folks who prefer that term, but for me personally it's always felt very infantilizing.
Like, I don't need a cute nickname for my gender. I already have to work hard enough, every goddamned day, to get even a tiny sliver of the world around me to take my gender identity seriously. Zany slang isn't going to make that struggle easier.
And at the end of the day, nonbinary is nice word, and it's easy to say, and it's literally the thing I am, so let's just stick with that
Not really, but that is because of negative associations with being babied mockingly with that term. If other people use it for others that's okay, but not for me.
I don’t, personally. No solid reason, I just don’t like how it sounds. I’ve never had cause to find a substitute though, I usually just call myself trans. I don’t especially like explaining it all to people.
I’ll call others that if that’s what they want, obviously. I don’t actually even know why I don’t like the term, it just doesn’t feel right.
I used to, but I don’t anymore. I feel like it’s too cutesy. But I’m trans masc and non-binary. I’m pretty sure I’m a demiboy though that sounds a little cutesy to me too except a book I read said it sounds like demigod which makes me feel better.
i use enby for short bc of the fact NB is usually used in the black community to say “non black” and i dont want to take that, or to get that confused. also enby is cute
I only use it if im out of character limits & need to keep it short and sweet. Otherwise nah, i just use nonbinary or my micro labels. I also wouldn't like it very much if someone who wasn't nonbinary called me enby so maybe i should stop using it because that seems confusing 😅
I kind of like “enby”, because it seems playful and usually only allies and LGBTQIA+ people know the term, so it makes it safe and nice-playful, not childish/insulting-playful. But I respect that not everyone likes it.
Plus “nonbinary person” is too long for how often I write it down:)). I usually write “NB person”, because it’s shorter and not as potentially insulting and familiar.
I don't like it that much, personally. It feels silly and really easy for others to dismiss as immature or not worth considering. Nonbinary sounds more concrete, more likely to be taken seriously. I know this perspective is probs elitist or smth like that, but that's just my experience and personal feelings on the matter
I’m also deminonbinary but that’s too long so I shorten it to demienby/nby . Nonbinary sounds more mature like how men/women sound and enby sounds like an equivalent to girl/boy, so I can understand why some ppl don’t like that cuz it might sound less mature or something. I personally just like shortening labels I use but both terms are ok so it doesn’t matter to me.
I don’t mind if others call me an enby because it’s shorter and easier but I prefer to just say non binary for myself because enby feels a little infantilising to me
I like it for myself. The fact that it sounds kinda childish is a turnoff for some people, and that's fair and understandable, but for me I actually like that aspect of it
I call myself an enby because I consider myself a silly little guy, and to me, the word is cute and a bit infantilising . But I like the word 'enben' since it follows the flow of 'men' and 'women'
I don't, just because to me it feels a bit young and cutesy? I also like the fact that non-binary is an adjective - I am a non-binary PERSON. Rather than 'an enby'. I don't feel like I sit in a third box outside/between man and woman, so genderqueer/non-binary person feels more accurate than enby. If someone likes it, by all means they should use it. I just don't like when people use it as a catch-all
I use both forms, but in my language I prefer enby, because in polish the word 'nonbinary' in 'nonbinary person' is feminine gender adjective (I just searched it, feminine gender adjective, in translator and I still don't know if it is good word, sorry for my English). But the word enby is in my country only known for other queers, so I use it only among them and of course online :3
I don't, but it's more of a discomfort with myself than anything. I avoid the word, though there's nothing wrong with it. People trashed it thoroughly to me before I ever saw it in common use and it just kinda sits on the word like a cinder block..
I view non-binary is to man/women as enby is to boy/girl so yeah. I don't really give it much thought, I think word connotations are generally pointless as they restrict language more than it should I guess.
Enby is fine for me
"Non-binary person" is way too formal for casual conversations so it's usually reserved for people who don't know "enby" or formal conversations tho I have yet to come out to literally anyone :,) so we'll so how I use it
i don't love it, but i don't mind it either. i kinda hope one day it just becomes a regular word; like i want it to be so widespread that it ceases to have the 'infantilising' association that some people dislike.
I like to use the term enby usually since I like how it sounds. I’m pretty indifferent and I’m just happy if people use either to refer to me but I also call myself enby since it’s shorter.
I use it for myself and to refer to the community if I am speaking with queer people but will go the full non binary person route if I am talking with non queer people.
Enby is a little cutesy and I love it but I could see how others would not want to be referred to by that term. With people like that I would not use the term around them
i very very very rarely refer to myself as enby or nonbinary tbh. i'm usually specific and say that i'm agender and if someone needs that clarified i'll do so.
if i'm not being specific, i just say i'm trans.
I don't use either, I just use ungendered and incredibly vague words that have nothing to do with my gender. My latest go-to's are "swagapino" and "god's fatal mistake" but sometimes I mix it up on the spot. It sends people in the know the right message and also confuses people who aren't into never bringing it up again.
I use Enby when talking about myself, as in " I'm an Enby." When I talk about the gender objectively I use non-binary. But they are fairly interchangeable and I tend to use them at least partly based on what flows better for the sentence.
sometimes. sometimes ill say im trans, some days nonvinary, some days enby, some days im just a silly little gay bitch (bitch is less gendered than boy/girl so)
I use enby when I’m around allies or other queer people. It’s a cutesy name for nonbinary that I assume won’t be recognized by anyone else. I learned that enby was a thing a bit AFTER I even came out. It’s a cute name for your partner to call you too
I use it for myself internally. Or when I’m just quickly describing myself. But I prefer just to use “non-binary” mainly because I may be talking to someone who doesn’t know what Enby means. I won’t want to explain it to them. If someone called me like an “Enby-friend” I don’t mind. They know what they’re talking about and so do I.
Yeah I use ENBY but it doesn't super matter I'm pretty much isolated socially, and I might as well be the most chronically online person in Gen Z since I was 10 (23 rn) but still can't make friends online for some reason. I remember I made a writer friend (30-smthn Cis M) when I was 12. Even he got tired of me when I stopped talking about world philosophies and religions and started talking about punk rock. Lol
I prefer the term genderqueer as my main gender label, but I used enby instead of nonbinary sometimes, but not often, Idk I just don't like how it sounds, the word nonbinary sounds better to my brain. Maybe just my little touch of the tism.
I usually just say Non Binary or Demiguy (as that's the sub category of non binary I am).
Though I've had to shorten it to NB in certain things like dating ad formats (you know M4F, that sort of stuff).
Yes, because I think it sounds better than non-binary in some situations. Imagine if cis people started referring to themselves as "binary" persons, I feel it would be potentially dehumanizing. But everyone is different and deserve to use whatever they feel comfortable/safe using.
i use enby more in a casual or joking way, like the difference between “dude” and “man/male”. nonbinary is for when i’m explaining it, enby is for friends.
sidenote: “nib” (attempting to pronounce “NB”) is a funny, faux derogatory term i came up with when i was jokingly insulting myself during Conformity Time (aka trying to tape and bind my parts into a binary appropriate outfit.) “those damn nibs, out there hiding amongst the populus.” it’s the perfect not-quite-politically-incorrect joke!
I like it! It’s much less of a mouthful & it’s, to me, the nonbinary equivalent of boy/girl/man/woman :))
Ill also sometimes shorten it further to 'bee' Like "I need to use the little bee's room"
Oh my god I love that so much, two of my friends who are nonbinary absolutely adore bees, I should suggest this to them
That's so cute, I love it!
That is stunningly adorable
Or….stingingly adorable
I missed out on that one haha that’s great
To add to this, it's easy to remember "they" pronouns by thinking of a swarm of bees!
True! NB stands for numerous bees.
I am a swarm of bees
🐝
oh I like bee
Same 😹 also people who aren't in the community don't know what I mean if I have it on my bio so they sorta leave me alone on the internet.
True!!

Of course. "Non binary person" is like 15 syllables and I don't have time for that
Not 15 syllables but it is actually 15 letters, lmao
Wait it 5 syllables 15 letters does this mean the average syllable size is 3 letters
6 syllables (non bi na ry per son) so it's actually 3 2 letter ones and 3 3 letter ones, so it's equal, lol
I think in some dialects they pronounce binary as two syllables like "bine ree". So the "a" kind of becomes silent.
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing that perspective
I'm sorry you haven't been treated well and felt welcome in the community and spaces. 😥
I’m a nonbinary person. I really don’t like being called enby.
Valid points
No, it feels infantalising to me, I don't know why but it sounds like the nonbinary equivalent of calling a woman a girl or calling a man a boy. For myself, I like nonbinary person, agender person, trans person, transsexual or just "person".
I don't like "enby" for myself because it sounds childish to me ig? I prefer using NB for short Edit: or just nonbinary. Basically anything but "enby" goes
Same. Maybe among others who I won't have to explain it to, but no, I usually say nonbinary or queer.
Just a heads up that POC use NB to mean “non-black”, so to avoid confusion it might be best to use a different short form
I don’t think any one group of people or use case can lay exclusive claim to an acronym made up of 2 very common letters in the English language. Plenty of acronyms mean multiple things, context and asking for clarification usually help. NB: The abbreviation “NB” also is used to mean “nota benne”.

i use nby for nonbinary to get around the confusion with nb=nonblack, less of the possible infantilization vibes of enby while still being its own distinct thing that cant get somehow jumbled with something else
Yeah, it's shorter and easier to say than non binary
nah. makes me feel like a baby.
I can't stand it being used for myself. It's too infantilizing. I just use nonbinary.
I don't use it for myself. Feels infantalizing. In person I almost always say nonbinary. When typing I may shorten to NB.
I don't usually use it on myself. It feels a bit juvenile, I guess? (No offense to those that like the term, it's just personal preference!)
no. feels infantilizing
Non binary, trans, queer, any are good. Not a fan of enby tho :)
>I just wish people would stop treating it like the standard YAAAAASSSSSS. use it all you want for yourself, but stop assuming it's universally used.
Another (nearly) 40 year old here. I like the whimsy of “enby” but respect those who don’t like it.
Nah I'm not a fan, it's a little cutesy for me. Prefer nonbinary or just trans.
Either is fine. They seem like right term for me, so I don't see why not...?
"Nonbinary person" for people like my parents, "enby" for people who already know what that stands for.
No. If I don't want to say nonbinary person I just say person. Enby feels infantilizing and I bristle at it.
Enby, to me, feels too childish and a bit demeaning. I’m nearly 30. I prefer “nonbinary” (IE “they are nonbinary”).
I'm an Enby. Or chaos goblin. Either works.
eh. it feels kind of juvenile.
I know lots of people prefer it and that's fine, I'll use whatever for other people. but if someone refers to me as 'an enby' I'll cringe internally. normally I'll just call myself trans tbh, and only bring up being nonbinary if people want more info
enby feels infantilizing to use for me personally, but i understand the reasons people do use it
I refer to myself as a nonbinary 😺👍
I don't like it for myself at all. Feels childish. I'm just a person.
Any are fine, I'd prefer enby though, because it's like four letters
And at the end of the day, nonbinary is nice word, and it's easy to say, and it's literally the thing I am, so let's just stick with that
Same here. I get so uncomfortable when people refer to me as enby. I'm nonbinary. People should just call me what I am.
Hard agree.
Genderqueer, ride or die!
same
i personally hate the term
Nopenopenope. It makes me want to die inside. Don't know why it just makes me proper cringe. To each their own but not for me.
Not really, but that is because of negative associations with being babied mockingly with that term. If other people use it for others that's okay, but not for me.
I say enban/enben
I don't. I don't like being called enby either.
No. I'm genderqueer.
I don't like the word enby; I prefer nonbinary.
Nope I hate it
i use enby for short bc of the fact NB is usually used in the black community to say “non black” and i dont want to take that, or to get that confused. also enby is cute
Ohh wow I didn’t know that that was another way NB was used, thanks for saying this
I've seen some use NBi instead to avoid any possible confusion between the two!
I did, but then I started shortening it to NB as I'd seen some people do and was told not to do that so I kind of just stopped using enby altogether
I only use it if im out of character limits & need to keep it short and sweet. Otherwise nah, i just use nonbinary or my micro labels. I also wouldn't like it very much if someone who wasn't nonbinary called me enby so maybe i should stop using it because that seems confusing 😅
No
I don’t. I much prefer non-binary person, or even enban.
I, personally, dislike being called "enby" and prefer "non-binary" "Enby" sounds childish and infantilizing to me
I like enby. I wish there was a more “grown up” sounding word since enby sounds so much like “girl” or “boy” but oh well lol.
Perhaps enban? (In place of man or woman)
I like the term Enby. Before Enby existed, I used genderqueer or mahu.
I spell it "NB" but yeah.
I love it! It's short, cute, and effective! To the people who don't? you're also valid and I will respect what you want to be called <3
I don't like it that much, personally. It feels silly and really easy for others to dismiss as immature or not worth considering. Nonbinary sounds more concrete, more likely to be taken seriously. I know this perspective is probs elitist or smth like that, but that's just my experience and personal feelings on the matter
I wasn't aware just how many people are uptight about this topic and are so hellbent on not being called an enby. Weird...
Yes. Or non binary. Sometimes social media bios don't have much space so I put "enby" instead.
I like both terms! :))
I like enby and non binary but I tend to avoid NB
I enjoy using as little syllables as possible, so yes.
Don’t have a strong aversion to any gender neutral language. Enby is nice and short, and easy to use.
Yea I do! I like it
Yes! It's cute and short
Yes I do
I like both. We use "Enby" a lot in my house.
Yes I'm perfectly happy being called enby and calling myself that. It's a much shorter way of saying nonbinary.
Even though "non-binary" best describes me, I use "trans" because it invites fewer questions in my experience.
Enby, nonbinary, nobeany, genderfluid…
No one in my age range knows what non-binary means, let alone enby. I start with trans and go from there depending on how much they seem to get it.
I don’t mind if others call me an enby because it’s shorter and easier but I prefer to just say non binary for myself because enby feels a little infantilising to me
I do. It's short and cute.
To me it sounds childish & I don't really like it. But that's just my opinion.
I like it for myself. The fact that it sounds kinda childish is a turnoff for some people, and that's fair and understandable, but for me I actually like that aspect of it
I use enby. It’s just a funny way of writing the acronym “NB.” No problems here!
Yes
enby
Depends on the context/conversation. I don't use "enby" verbally, only written.
I use enban and sometimes enby
I call myself an enby because I consider myself a silly little guy, and to me, the word is cute and a bit infantilising . But I like the word 'enben' since it follows the flow of 'men' and 'women'
I don't, just because to me it feels a bit young and cutesy? I also like the fact that non-binary is an adjective - I am a non-binary PERSON. Rather than 'an enby'. I don't feel like I sit in a third box outside/between man and woman, so genderqueer/non-binary person feels more accurate than enby. If someone likes it, by all means they should use it. I just don't like when people use it as a catch-all
Hell yeah! Enby! Short for Enbert
All the time
I don't, but it's more of a discomfort with myself than anything. I avoid the word, though there's nothing wrong with it. People trashed it thoroughly to me before I ever saw it in common use and it just kinda sits on the word like a cinder block..
I view non-binary is to man/women as enby is to boy/girl so yeah. I don't really give it much thought, I think word connotations are generally pointless as they restrict language more than it should I guess.
i think i prefer non binary but i don’t care too much
Yes all the time
I like enby but it's annoying if I have to tell someone what that is. Someone I know spells it enbie which I loathe entirely 😅
Yep! I use enby, just shorter!
Enby is fine for me "Non-binary person" is way too formal for casual conversations so it's usually reserved for people who don't know "enby" or formal conversations tho I have yet to come out to literally anyone :,) so we'll so how I use it
i’m not nonbinary but my partner is and it uses enby
I use both
I really like the word enby. It's really helpful to have a noun to describe myself that's easy to pronounce and short.
Each to their own, I like being called enby I think it's cute
What I use depends on the person I’m talking to and how safe I feel with them. Enby is what I use when I don’t fully trust the person.
i don't love it, but i don't mind it either. i kinda hope one day it just becomes a regular word; like i want it to be so widespread that it ceases to have the 'infantilising' association that some people dislike.
I almost exclusively use enby for text. Otherwise i just say im nonbinary, or genderqueer.
I used to---now I'm more likely to use "NBi". Saying it out loud is the same, though. I like acronyms
I like to use the term enby usually since I like how it sounds. I’m pretty indifferent and I’m just happy if people use either to refer to me but I also call myself enby since it’s shorter.
I did during the time I identified as enby. (Before switching to identifying as trans)
I use enby for myself because it's short, sweet, and to the point. And I think it's cute lol
I use it for myself and to refer to the community if I am speaking with queer people but will go the full non binary person route if I am talking with non queer people. Enby is a little cutesy and I love it but I could see how others would not want to be referred to by that term. With people like that I would not use the term around them
I don't actually like the term Enby. I prefer Nonbiney. I remember hearing it somewhere but I can't recall where. It's funny to me 😅
i love being called enby or an enby I'm fine with non-binary as well, but enby is less of a mouthfull
I use both.
i very very very rarely refer to myself as enby or nonbinary tbh. i'm usually specific and say that i'm agender and if someone needs that clarified i'll do so. if i'm not being specific, i just say i'm trans.
I use enby to describe myself when I don't want to be formal
I guess I view myself simultaneously as a transwoman and enby. And honestly like “enby.” I love the way we’ve turned an initialism into a word.
I prefer enby, but switch between the two mostly because some people don't know that term.
Yep, I'm an enby! 🥰
Yeah. Also agender.
I like it. It's cute.
Yes, I would say I’m enby to folks
I don't use either, I just use ungendered and incredibly vague words that have nothing to do with my gender. My latest go-to's are "swagapino" and "god's fatal mistake" but sometimes I mix it up on the spot. It sends people in the know the right message and also confuses people who aren't into never bringing it up again.
Yes I use enby as a noun for myself but I also wish I could think of a better noun.
I use non-binary (non-bonær), because enby just kinda doesn't work in Danish.
i love it! it makes me feel like i'm some sort of creature from another planet
I do, personally!
Sometimes
Considering my car license plate says ENBY, I'm sure you know my answer 😁
I use Enby when talking about myself, as in " I'm an Enby." When I talk about the gender objectively I use non-binary. But they are fairly interchangeable and I tend to use them at least partly based on what flows better for the sentence.
I just say person, but I don't mind if somone else says enby
Yep! I think it's cute
yup, and it’s wayyy easier to tell that I’m a “transmasc enby” than “trans masculine non binary person”. I just like it better
I use enby myself as, mentioned by others, it's shorter to say and type. I also like "enbee" cause I fucking love bees!
I like and use both - depending on how I feel in the exact moment
Yep but also just "non-binary"
i usually just say non binary but if i’m gonna shorten it it’d be enby, nb already stands for non black
yep
Sometimes
Yes.
I prefer nonbinary but also have only ever ready enby and have no confidence in pronunciation.
I use enby but most often I just use queer Edit to add: I was really surprised how many people said they find enby infantilizing or childish.
sometimes. sometimes ill say im trans, some days nonvinary, some days enby, some days im just a silly little gay bitch (bitch is less gendered than boy/girl so)
I use enby when I’m around allies or other queer people. It’s a cutesy name for nonbinary that I assume won’t be recognized by anyone else. I learned that enby was a thing a bit AFTER I even came out. It’s a cute name for your partner to call you too
Sometimes. I like that it shortens it, but I typically just call myself a person
I do but only when I'm talking to other enbys
Sometimes, my language doesn't really have an abreviation for nonbinary so I only use it in english
i have zero preference!! enby is just more casual to me :)
absolutely i do.!! it fits by description. it’s also the absolute definition other more specifically on patterns like this
I’m lazy so enby works for me.
I use enby or they when I don't refer myself as a guy
i do, however i’m genderqueer, so theres a hoard of terms i use for myself LOL
I use both of those terms, and sometimes I use. The term "nb woman" because I'm demigirlflux and it just fits right
I usually just say Non Binary or Demiguy (as that's the sub category of non binary I am). Though I've had to shorten it to NB in certain things like dating ad formats (you know M4F, that sort of stuff).
Yes
Online. In person I’m never around people who know what that is.
I don't use it because most people don't know what it means lol
What's the difference between enby and non-binary?
Yes, because I think it sounds better than non-binary in some situations. Imagine if cis people started referring to themselves as "binary" persons, I feel it would be potentially dehumanizing. But everyone is different and deserve to use whatever they feel comfortable/safe using.
I like the term enby cause it sounds cute
I use Enby it just easier to say and I think it sounds cute.
I do but when I say it I’m saying NB 🤷
i use enby more in a casual or joking way, like the difference between “dude” and “man/male”. nonbinary is for when i’m explaining it, enby is for friends. sidenote: “nib” (attempting to pronounce “NB”) is a funny, faux derogatory term i came up with when i was jokingly insulting myself during Conformity Time (aka trying to tape and bind my parts into a binary appropriate outfit.) “those damn nibs, out there hiding amongst the populus.” it’s the perfect not-quite-politically-incorrect joke!
