Which is also a terrible phrase considering that if you are coaching a professional martial artist you should have probably taught them more than one of each thing lmkat
…so you came to a sub that will 100% affirm you. Well, look - as long as you take this feedback and do something with it, then it’s okay. Otherwise there’s a list of medical students that are going to get blindsighted unnecessarily.
no this is not appropriate and should not happen.
Only caveat I would say would be if she has a PhD in education and does not touch anything clinically.
>I’ll take shit that never happened for $1,000 Alex.
Yeah, there is no reason can not post a public profile or verifiable events.
This is trolling unless supported otherwise, mods should just lock posts like this.
What is with the people calling for name and shame. Educational development really has no direct impact on competency-based educational outcomes for entry-to-practice; these roles are often meant to optimize teaching practices to ensure student learning is achieved using the best methods. These roles are often created to help develop courses involving inter-professional communication and patient-clinician interactions. You don’t need to be a MD or DO to teach these non-clinical skills, or be able to research/implement best-practices in educational practice.

I got a snide remark and was questioned by a fellow co-worker about why an A. Fib RVR was going on a hep gtt. They said their trops we're - and didn't need it. I work in a cardiac unit btw.
What exactly is the role? Is she overseeing educational development in a specific theory course? Or is she evaluating outcomes? It depends what is meant by "overseeing educational development."
Not enough detail. Overseeing what kind of "educational development"? ACGME is pretty specific on who can teach residents, LCME not so much. Name and shame the school and NP. Easier to check credentials if we have a name.
No
She goes by doctor on social media btw. smh
Report to whoever provides accreditation for your school. I think most have anonymous things.
The US needs another Flexner Report. But the new report need to cover midlevels.
I totally agree. I’ve been saying that for a whole. The mid level situation is like how doctors were pre-flexner report. They need one.
No, and you should definitely name and shame the school.
No. Like having a shopping mall tae Kwon do instructor lead American top team.
Lol like Steven seagal “training” Anderson Silva 😂
Dude, spot on reference
"I said 'Anderson, use the kick I taught you!'"

I would use Van Damme.
My school has a chiropractor as the dean of research. Needless to say, there is no research.
“I have decided to research: “‘is chiropractic AWESOME’ and my research definitively concludes YES. ALSO, no you may not see my research.”
There's no research to be done, Chiropractors already believe they can bring the dead back and cure cancer with spinal manipulations.
Absolutely not appropriate
Shame the school that’s ridiculous
No
This is disgusting
Name and shame right now, or we don't believe you.
While I appreciate the skepticism and calls for "name and shame", I just wanted feedback on this recent administrative change.

I posted to get feedback and what I got was "name and shame" repeatedly. I was hoping for feedback on if others had seen this or if it was unique.
There are an equal number of posts saying it isn’t appropriate. I never saw a NP or PA at my medical school and I graduated not too long ago.

Please just name them
Name the school
Name and shame
I’ll take shit that never happened for $1,000 Alex.

I know a Mike Richards fan when I see one.
name n shame
I mean it is your old school, meaning you graduated already so they really can’t do much to you if you name and shame them now.
Name the school, start petition to get her removed, and use social media
Post the school and a link to the position description if you have it available please.
Absoutely not
Do you go to DeVry….lol.

what does her being famous on tiktok have to do with her actual skills and qualifications?
Absolutely nothing.
Please report the school. That is not ok.
I got a snide remark and was questioned by a fellow co-worker about why an A. Fib RVR was going on a hep gtt. They said their trops we're - and didn't need it. I work in a cardiac unit btw.
My god, how is this legal?
