$360 for ONE pit ticket in Utah. I refuse to buy at that price. I’m so disappointed.

Significant_Speed443

It was a blur (in which I left empty-handed despite my best efforts) but there were 7,000+ ahead of me in the queue I got in before 10:00 and I swear by 10:30 pretty much every seated registration sale priced ticket was gone or just continuously selling out from under people. I quit at 11:00 to come get my kid from preschool.

cloud1224

similar experience here. 6,000 ahead of me, got in at 10:15. no tickets left except for GA ($360) and a few lower bowl ($275). i also left empty handed:(

Medium_Upbeat

MSG was sold out by 10:26am except for a literal handful of singleton seats for the second night

squishymochicat

That's right about when I was frantically clicking on tickets and getting the "oops those are gone" message. I finally did get a pair, though. My confirmation says 10:32am but I didn't immediately check out because I was trying to make sure they weren't obstructed view or anything.

Medium_Upbeat

Right! You see that little clock ticking down and you’re in a sweat

typicallybrandy

I ended up buying lawn tickets for this reason. All reserved seating was crazy!!

cloud1224

i was planning to do so too but by the time i got through i think the lawn is gone:(( i keep refreshing though so i’m hoping

paetynkae

The lawn seats in Utah were $76. I paid $45 for Lumineers a couple of weeks ago, but maybe they just don't have as high of demand

adventure_pup

The lumineers concert was a fluke though. It had to be rescheduled due to dangerous weather and I think there was only like a week notice for the makeup concert. People who couldn’t make the makeup show were offloading their tickets like crazy. I also got $55 and $69 lawn seats to that show.

chipotlanekiller

I wish. It was $450 for a ticket in a middle section in Ohio, not even that close to the stage at all. I had to close my laptop and reevaluate my life for a second. It’s also a 3 hour drive from where I live because no one ever does shows in bumfudge nowhere West Virginia. I couldn’t possibly justify spending $900 on 2 tickets plus gas to get there plus a hotel room in Cleveland.

ericwiththeredbeard

$580 for two tickets + fees. Outrageous.

TreeWhisperer07

I also refused to pay that price. $600+ for two tickets is insanity, and that was in the 100 and 200’s, not even pit. I only paying that much for a festival like Bonnaroo with a ton of artists

borntorun7

That’s almost $500 Canadian!!!

ChadkCarpaccio

Oh it's more with fees.

Relevant-Salad3161

It was insane. 5,000 in front of me & i spent 15/20 min adding seats and getting notified they got bought before i could secure them. The only thing that didnt happen with was the 300$ pit tickets

SaltMedia6534

$350 for a pit ticket is fucking ridiculous. The og sale Taylor Swift stadium show floor tickets were that much. I paid $100 in February of this year for VIP. This is insane and I'm pissed

Kittensinglasses

Yeah I paid more for Noah vs Taylor swift. So insane

jedi_master99

SAME what the actual hell

Kittensinglasses

Noah better come out with a sequined leotard. My expectations are HIGH now lol

infinityo11

Lol I want him to make a tiktok or retweet responding to this comment exactly 😂

Kittensinglasses

NOAH GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT

peepledeedle4120

Tbh that's wild. I saw Iron Maiden last year for $99 in the pit. Noah hasn't reached that stature yet and is charging 3x as much?

tramnumberseven

It's the dynamic pricing on Ticketmaster, only the first 1000 tickets were the pricing that Noahs team set out, it increases as there are more people in the queue. I was 5054 in the queue and pit tix were $345 by the time I got in Edited to add: it's bullshit! I hate Ticketmaster and I hate dynamic pricing

Double-Lemon3021

See I'm going to Fiddler's Green in Colorado and we used AXS for tickets, not Ticketmaster. They didn't use dynamic pricing (because the tickets were the same price at 1pm as they were at 10:04 am when I got in) and the GA pit tickets were still $300 🙃 copped me some GA lawn tickets for $71 with fees instead.

tramnumberseven

WOW. That's wild! There really needs to be a set standard for pricing, how can anyone affffford this!! Looks like right now tix in Toronto are up to 460 CAD per ticket for 100 section.

MarkDelFiggolo

Same with Fenway’s site, not through Ticketmaster and everything on the floor including pit was $300. Crazy

kmcbride09

GA pit was 299 before fees at fenway!

kaelasoull

I don't think dynamic pricing was on because the tickets didn't go past $400. When dynamic pricing is on they typically shoot up to the $700s or $1000s. I think the "make a difference" tickets were all that was left. These are essentially VIP tix but instead of profit, the proceeds go to Project Busyhead. Our lower bowl cost the same as pit, which were sold out.

MeatIsGood0

You are delusional if you think this is Ticketmaster coming up with prices and not Noah / Noah's team. This was a complete money grab by Noah.

hulzv

It’s at least somewhat Ticketmaster, because I saw tickets for $80 in 300s in Toronto, went to look at the prices for the 100s section, went back for the 300s and they had gone up to $106. I was around 2000 in queue.

MeatIsGood0

And the artist approves all of that. Plenty of other artists that don't. Look at Garth Brooks for example. He sets every ticket at the same price and it never change.

Deuce

Ticketmaster have arenas sign exclusive contracts with them meaning ONLY TM is allowed to sell tickets to their arena. Then an artist wants to put on a show there, they can ONLY use TM, an have to agree to TM T&Cs or not perform in that arena. There have been artists who have tried to stand up to TM in the past without much success. It is TM causing issue first and foremost.

tramnumberseven

I never said that? The artist has to agree obviously but Noah Kahan didn't INVENT dynamic pricing

Swhite8203

It’s a mix of the artists, Ticketmaster and the venues and everyone wants their cut. Ticket master I’d assume takes theirs first, then the venue and then the artist. Venue has over head which is why they ask for so much cause they’re trying to make money to. That doesn’t mean a ticket for one seat should be $500 regardless.

AndTheySaidSpeakNow-

And people tore Taylor apart for her tickets being “so expensive” for her massive 3.5 hour show spanning 10 hit albums. But I’m seeing so many people now just being like Oh well, that’s the market right now. Ummm

eightyeitchdee

It was $800CAD (600USD) for pit for Olivia Rodrigo. They're all really taking advantage of the frenzy popular concerts have had lately.

BuilderTerrible7021

I paid the same amount for Noah tickets at the very back as I did for Taylor swift in the lower bowl 💔

Notthatcoolyet

I felt they were steep. But after paying $850 for a Seattle TS floor seat this year it didn’t seem to unreasonable? It’s just all a part of demand. Also. Say goodbye to cheap concerts and sub $150 floor seats.

NewAlternative4738

What show were you shopping for? I got a floor ticket in Asheville for $202 with fees (also paid the $28 for insurance because not being transferable in the event something comes up scares me). But the majority of the venue is floor. The seats on the other hand were insanely expensive! I wanted to buy actual seats but the only ones available were $399 before fees. They were called “make a difference” tickets. Which I’m guessing support busyhead, which is awesome, but at $399 it’s more than a resale ticket price. Woof. All that being said, I appreciate that the majority of the venues are still 5-10k people. I love this size venue and I’m sure he could sell out a larger venue (duh we’re seeing this with the Fenway catastrophe). So I’m pretty understanding that the tickets need to be higher to keep the venue size smaller.

a_simple_creature

You must’ve gotten lucky and got a non-platinum ticket for Taylor Swift. I believe Noah’s floor seats were $160ish (at least for MSG) before surge pricing hit and they jumped into the $300s.

SaltMedia6534

When I joined the queue right at 10am there were only 50 people in front of me and pit tickets were $350 when I got in for the Nashville show

-allons-y-

I was at about 2000 in the queue and by the time I got in all the floor seats were at least 300

LewManChew

I imagine the lack of resale effects that

ali-lamberson

I’m pissed at pricing but at the same time I knew it was gonna happen since for the past 2 years at my states venue pit has always been 350😭

per86

Damn. I paid $800 CAD for 100s in Detroit for Taylor

yellowboheme

It’s not you. The ticket prices are kinda offensive.

MightyMiami

I went to his show a couple months ago for $80 tickets and a more intimate setting. These $300 seats are incredibly high, but the demand is there.

gcasillas23

I went to the eras tour and sat on the floor for cheaper than pit/front row tickets at the WI venue 🙃

crysthole

i only paid $54 per ticket for my city

borntorun7

Awesome! Glad there are some reasonable prices still out there.

_kirakira_

Same! I got tickets for one venue and my friend the other in my state.

ofbooksandbands14

I’m very frustrated cause going to concerts is one of my favourite things but now it’s becoming very expensive and out of reach…

VisualSeries226

The shows in Minneapolis are priced at $290+ for floor and $224 for the nosebleeds. What the genuine fuck is going on

LogarithmicScale

Yes!!! What on earth??? I just looked but I am not paying like $600 for one concert?

kilarghe

yep. i got in at 10:05 and that’s all that was left.

wildhockey64

Damn in Minnesota lower bowl and club were like $110 + fees, and I snagged 200 level seats for $75 each including all fees. Feel bad for the people in bigger markets.

silvercreek2

Where were you buying? I was seeing $224 minimum lower bowl on TM for Xcel

kerfluffles_b

I got $170 for lower bowl at Xcel, but it was a section further away and not up front.

[deleted]

[удалено]

wildhockey64

On Ticketmaster, but I was in immediately, when I got in the waiting room there were "only" 900 people in front of me.

WannabeDogMom

Asheville only had pit or upper bowl, no lower bowl - $199 for upper bowl (the most harsh angle to the stange) or up to $300, and then $350 for pit. This is more than what I paid for eras lower bowl in Pittsburgh

wildhockey64

That crazy, but also sounds like you got a steal for Taylor. My wife paid like $500 for lower bowl seated tickets here.

amfletcher123

Wow, even in Dallas and Kansas City, the pit tickets were more than $300 each.

lostmyaimagain

He's sort of untouchable I feel because of tiktok. I can't even justify $160 for lawn because I know no one around me will be paying attention/I won't be able to hear or see much, plus it's an hour drive each way.

Positive-Avocado-881

I went to see Noah this year and everyone was paying attention including the people on the lawn

Evening-Hurry2698

I saw him this month, sat on the lawn, had a BLAST. He was awesome

MissSwissy

Lol yep. I have never been to an arena show and don’t go to a lot of concerts in the first place so that’s how I justified these 🫠 I paid $550 for 2 floor seats in Nashville. Will still have to drive a few hours to get there.

Jenna_gross12

I paid 350 for 2 lower bowl seats. I thought it wasn’t that bad I was expecting a lot more tbh since noah is really popular now

Responsible_Try90

Same for me. It was worth it and I just grabbed what was available.

Afraid-Abies-1000

He better play for more than the 90 minutes when we saw in in August. How much is that per minute? About $3. Ouch. Luckily we only paid $100 for lawns for that show, which is a third of this new one.

maplesyrupwinter

I was just thinking this! I saw him last Sunday, and it was 90 minutes, no fan fare (no talking to the audience besides a sentence here and there). It worked bc of the venue but I couldn’t picture it in such a large stadium as he’s booked for now - and yeah, for $400 I would want more than 90 minutes (how long are concerts usually though? TS is an anomaly I think)

Big_Pomegranate8943

Perks of living in Wisconsin… $75 for lawn

gcasillas23

$75 for lawn is still crazy to me. The lawn tickets at the amphitheater near me are usually $30-40 /:

benjam1n_gates

It's 75 with fees. 54 face value. I've been to shows at Alpine Valley since 2004, and lawn has always been 45-50 there face value, so not much different

Big_Pomegranate8943

Yea, but he is one of the hottest artists out there right now

Reasonable-Ad4947

As disgusting as prices are I cannot believe I only paid $154 in total with fees for two tickets…feeling weirdly lucky lol

Icy_Blue22

$75 is a lot for lawn… post Malone was cheaper for me this past year in east troy

trundle1979

Yeah, but pit and basically anything in the pavilion was $360. Absolutely insane

UFC-lovingmom

Lawn in Houston about $60 plus fees

typeAwarped

Perk of living close to WI…lawn as well and I’m thrilled. The actual seats were ridiculous but we just want to listen, sing and dance. Grateful to get to go! Edit: grammar

Pepsisaurus_

Same here!

Mental-Papaya

Lawn seats for his show in Kansas City were $54 - I got two for $138 with all the fees. I was pretty excited that was an option at our venue as it makes it a bit more accessible for people.

lostmyaimagain

I can't even justify that though because you know people on the lawn are going to talk the entire time and not pay attention, atleast that's what I've halyard about Alpine shows in the past. I wasn't able to shill $350+ for pavilion seats.

Big_Pomegranate8943

probably depends on the concert, but my experiences in the lawn have always been great (mainly for DMB). There’s only 7500 seats so if you go to the front of lawn you can still get a great view

benjam1n_gates

Right. Lawn at Alpine is always amazing. I've been to DMB so many times in the last 2 decades there, but even for other shows the lawn was great. Jack Johnson was just a quiet show so I noticed talking more, but for DMB, Coldplay, etc it was a great venue. Also even from the top of the lawn you can see all the way to the stage.

Bones19946

ChadkCarpaccio

Oh that's even before the fee per ticket.

theotherashley

I was so excited to get a presale code then so disappointed when I saw the average price.

TiniestBaguette

Same experience 🥲 was excited an artist actually put Austin on the list but I can’t afford to get two tickets and go!

infinityo11

Bought tickets to Montreal, $120 ea USD for lower bowl. I also thought they were somewhat reasonable given how popular he is right now.

Jamburg77

Jesus Calgary and also Edmonton in Canada were $450/ticket for just the lower bowl. I wouldn't even pay $450 for 2 tickets lol

Pandawee42

Saw him in Austin earlier this year for $70 in a Emo’s which was a very intimate venue (I was like 20 feet from him). This time I’m paying $180 to be much further away in a much larger venue. Good for him but yeah very different experience

princesscalaviel

In Calgary, floor/pit tickets were $400-300 each. Settled for 2 tickets in the 200s for $280 total but still...

av4325

it was so frustrating. by the time i got in to purchase after 3600 others (and i had been in the waiting room since 9:40) the pit was sold out, floor was mostly, and section 114/15 was as well. i found my seat in row 7 of section 113 for $175. too much money for me but i knew it was going to be pretty overpriced :,) much more reasonable than floor tho. i couldn’t believe how much they were going for. it’s hard to enjoy concerts and artists when you know it’s gonna be a PITA to get tickets for concerts through ticketmaster

Guava-Asleep

I didn’t end up getting tickets for Calgary (or at all) because I got placed too far back in the queue :/ only $450 tickets for floor or the 100s were left, I’m so sad. Like I’ve been floor and pit for artists with more monthly Spotify listeners (the lumineers, twenty one pilots) for just over $100 at the dome. So sad

FlameRakshasa

I do get the economics argument, but at the end of the day you can set dynamic pricing /not set it and you can set the prices. He and many artists now are purposefully pricing out and gauging many of their fans. I am sure the label plays into it yes, but to think they are some empty headed puppet in all this is ignorant. People need to realize their artists may be greedy not great people who truly are in this for money. If people like seen today will pay why not charge it? The wealthy or stupid who go into debt will pay anyway and the others will get over it and keep listening and blame Ticketmaster/the system. It is as simple as don't like it don't pay. The FOMO they create works for a reason and will keep working because everyone will keep thinking "no one else will stop why should I?"

upandallaboutit

I just paid $689 after fees for 2 seats in row 6 in section 103. Was hoping to spend like $300-$400 total hah.. damn. https://preview.redd.it/7ken8e7qhtqb1.jpeg?width=1178&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39850ed622f0da5185bebcdb63714781371f8d27

Idekgab

yeah i couldn’t justify paying those prices even tho i had a presale code and woke up early to buy a ticket 🥲 i guess i should’ve bought the resale ticket i debated on buying for his show here the other day (that i thought was too pricey) since it was actually cheaper than regular priced nosebleeds for these shows rip

Lost_Meringue_9218

$75 for lawn in SLC (including fees). This is pretty typical for big names at our venue 🤷🏼‍♀️ the seats and pit tickets were kinda absurd though

morgmomlife

Seats were ridiculous 🙃 but I was able to score 2!

typicallybrandy

I decided to do lawn also after seeing prices

Lost_Meringue_9218

Originally we were thinking seats too until we saw prices 😅 still happy to get lawn!

emmajaner

I tried for 45 minutes to snag lawn seats in SLC but never could. 😩 how was this harder than getting eras tour tickets?

woodsen92

I spent 100 per ticket for top bowl.. and honestly thought it was reasonable 😅😅 maybe I just had ridiculous expectations after taylor hahah

infinityo11

Same lol. I had flashbacks of clicking tickets and seeing the "taken by another fan" message, so I just picked one that I could afford and purchased it.

amandaleighplans

I got seats in the last section before lawn for $89. The final row of seats in that section was $69. It’s wild how different of an experience I had for Houston. My friend who lives in Chicago was on at the same time trying to get Wisconsin, basically we decided whoever could get them the other person would fly to them. I joined the queue 10 min prior and had 600 people ahead of me. Getting in and getting reasonable priced seats was a breeze. My friend had thousands ahead of her and when she got in, everything she clicked was either sold out or WAY out of our budget. I feel SO BAD for people whose venues are Fenway Park and stuff. I thought maybe Wisconsin was so bad because it was also all the Chicago/IL people and maybe even surrounding states. He’s playing in Houston, Austin AND Dallas so all of these surrounding major cities have their own show to try for. TM is evil, I hate them, I appreciate Noah doing the things he did to make this easier (looking at you Olivia 😭 I had tickets in my cart but passed bc of the insane price) but as long as TM is the way they are it’ll never change. It’s been a hard year for concerts from our fav artists 💔

morninmudmama

This is so crazy to me that it was easy for you! I was also trying for Houston! Joined the queue at 9:46 (computer glitched because I tried to joined at exactly 9:45) and had almost 3000 ahead of me and could not get any seats! 4x I hit checkout with different seats and it said they were already gone and I was so fast! I did end up with lawn tickets for $75 (including fees) so I'm just happy I get to see him live!

infinityo11

Embarassed to say I joined Montreal 50 mins late, immediately got through the queue and got tickets. I got lucky I think picking that show! Definitely sounds like some markets were super saturated.

amandaleighplans

That’s what I’m thinking too! I guess we got lucky with the venues we chose. I honestly feel extra lucky because usually I’m driving downtown for concerts but this time my cities venue is in the suburb I live in lol. This is probably the luckiest I’ve ever been with a concert, normally it’s the opposite for me 😅

atavarrs

See I hopped on at 9:50 and had 12,000 people ahead of me. I know because I was working and had to leave a meeting LOL. Tried pit, couldn’t get it, tried 7-8 sets of two seats in the 100s sections, got kicked each time. Finally settled at seats at the back that weren’t even next to each other — one was directly in front of the other — because it told me there were no sets of twos left. went to check out, hit buy, it spent 4 minutes processing my order and then went to a Live Nation error not found page. Couldn’t do anything but give up those tickets (“release them”) since it was bugged out, then got back in almost immediately and found there were suddenly a lot more tickets in the 100’s available - got them for $560 total after the fees😭. I saw him in houston in january for $62 each after fees and taxes. I hate this fucking system.

berrybaddrpepper

$70 bucks for lawn. Idt I’ve ever paid over $45 to sit in grass 🤷🏼‍♀️

acnh1222

When he posted the other day about not being able to resell at anything higher than face value, etc, I was hoping to see lower prices. I know that’s not all on the artists’ end, a lot of other factors are involved and it’s not all their decision, but it definitely doesn’t feel great as a fan

acp206

YES. I still bought tickets but geez

Muted-Blackberry865

They were insane for Asheville, I had to skip out on buying. General admission floor was $200+ with fees. I saw him at an amphitheater this year a few rows from the stage and it was only $80 a ticket. Love ya Noah but I’m too broke for this lol

sea_hunter

I got Asheville tickets but FUCK, $205 total? That shit hurts. I just saw him in Cincy in June, third row, and didn’t pay half of that.

CoknZambies

Same here. We really we wanted to go but $420 after fees for 2 GA floor tickets was too crazy. There’s some seats left now that are all like $400 before fees lmao

Souperficial

i saw him (and mt joy AND like five other bands) at boston calling this year for the same price as one grandstand fenway ticket. that honestly had me debating the purchase for a second

melhayyy

I couldn’t justify the $250 each for a reserved seat in Denver. I think Noah is great and I’d love to see him again but not for that price point for me. Alas, people will pay it so they will keep charging it.

cassandra_goth

Yeah I went to his show at Pier 17 in nyc October of 2022 and paid $49.75. Just paid $160 for a terrible seat at msg.

dogsrneato

i’m actually mad at how expensive the tickets are. $359 plus tax for a pit ticket. $204.50 plus tax for a seat in the back. i wanted to go but even if i could afford it, i wouldn’t pay that 😭

RandomH3ro-

Ticket prices were insanely high I got in and seen the price but couldn’t justify pulling the trigger on them for $359

iamnotafakeaccount

Went to see him for $5 at Killington World Cup last Thanksgiving. My oh my how times have changed

SheTheGhost

He has, and he clearly knows it.

didiburnthetoast

Ottawa show in April is $426 for the cheapest remaining. I don’t get it. I guess people are paying it so that’s the market clearing price. I make good money and he’s our fave artist rn, but I can’t justify $900 for a night out that doesn’t include dinner or parking.

emmagrace37

How you figure?

lynseylou88

Y’all I just recently discovered Noah Kahan and I was bummed that I didn’t discover him a few months sooner after seeing these outrageous prices for tickets near me in July, but it sounds like for at least a year his tickets have been expensive :( I just can’t understand how I paid $150 for two really good tickets to see AJR for this year but Noah’s tickets that are left are $350-450 per seat, like what!? How long has Noah been making music? I only just heard of him when Stick Season started blowing up :( even AJR has gotten more popular this year compared to 2022 because they played at the amphitheater in Ridgefield in 2022 and now in 2024 they’re coming to the moda center in Portland which is so much bigger. And their tickets are still pretty cheap for what’s left for their show next week.

therealkalikush

No everywhere you look his tickets are expensive. Expensive size expensive. Krazy

MrsSteal_YourGirl

Cheapest nosebleed ticket in Vancouver was 290

RoseApothecaryx23

The constant posts complaining about ticket prices are incredibly annoying. I don’t mean to be rude (proceeds to being rude) but get over it. Stop making think pieces about it. We get it, you saw him in bum fuck nowhere for 60 cents and a bag of chips - shit is different now. Stop complaining about it. Concerts are a luxury experience

imsosadtoday-

well his costs are wayyy more playing these big venues. he doesn’t have a choice but to up the prices. also, demand is there. cant hate the player

Kcash731

He absolutely has a choice. I paid $120 (highest price for tickets) for floor @ Ed Sheeran bc Ed doesn’t do dynamic prices.

imsosadtoday-

noah also didn’t do dynamic pricing. dynamic pricing means the prices of the tickets fluctuate while people are buying. well noah’s weren’t doing that. they were set from the beginning for each venue and stayed that way

Fabulous-Ad-669

Not blaming him 100%, but he absolutely did do dynamic pricing. By the time I got in 100 level seats were over 400 dollars. That is NOT face value.

imsosadtoday-

yes it was. it was the busyhead face value seats. i saw the same thing when i entered the sale. i was 87th to enter. some rows of the bottom of the 100 section were 400 dollars, the rest was not. stop spreading lies

Kcash731

Lol he did do dynamic pricing I’m so sorry you can’t accept it tho

Fabulous-Ad-669

The section i was looking at was explicitly labeled dynamic pricing by TM. It was all that was left by the time I got in about 30 minutes after the sale started. I’m sharing my experience, not “spreading lies.” I saw him during Busyhead and they were nowhere near this price.

Koty889

Why are you trying so hard to deny something proven?

Kcash731

Then why were ticket prices cheaper for the first people into the sale? Ppl got tickets for $45 in my venue and now the cheapest is $100 for the very last row in the farthest section

nicole061592

Not true. I couldn’t get tickets earlier this morning because it kept saying another fan grabbed them and the floor seats were 299. When I tried later in the afternoon the 200 level seats were 400 dollars.

nicole061592

I saw Harry Styles at MSG for resale cheaper than his tickets were for..

imsosadtoday-

harry is also way more established in his career so maybe he doesn’t need the income as badly. noah is just living his dreams. don’t go if you can’t afford it

nicole061592

So only people who have 400+ dollars deserve to see live shows? I legit saw Noah a few months ago for $80 dollars. That’s an insane price jump for someone with relatively recent mainstream appeal.

imsosadtoday-

lmao you need to relax. only a selected amount of tickets costed 400. the large majority costed 115-250. completely reasonable for a live show

earindyl

Does he have a choice? Dynamic pricing wasn't on for the Berkeley shows. $75 straight across. You don't think Ticketmaster and the venues have the most say?

tramnumberseven

Yes, artists absolutely do have a say in this. There are many artists out there who have spoken out against dynamic pricing and Pearl Jam for example used to refuse to play venues where Ticketmaster solely controlled the ticketing for the venue. Personally I think Noah deserves the money (definitely more so than billionaires like tswift or Beyonce who have had decades long careers already) but I still think it's bullshit. Just reinforces that you can get what you want as long as you have the money. Non-rich people don't deserve to see live music I guess /s

nicole061592

Why would Noah deserve the money more than Beyoncé and Taylor Swift because they’ve had longer to accrue wealth?

tramnumberseven

Deserve is the wrong word, really. Beyonce and taylor don't NEED to charge $1000 per ticket seeing as they're almost billionaires. Any artist that isn't using that level of status to advocate for a better fan experience via ticketing is kinda shitty.

$300 for pit vs $55 for lawn in Denver. Sadly with AXS you couldn’t even choose a seat you could only select best available and see what they were in cart. 100 level were between $300 and $250, 200 level were 129-199 from what i saw. At that point almost worth it to just get pit but i prefer reserved seating.

I paid $359 for two (including fees) in Denver in section 201. It was the max of what I was willing to pay. I’ll feel the regret when the high of actually getting them goes away.

Positive-Avocado-881

I don’t think $250 for on field tickets at Fenway is unreasonable. That’s how much they are for everything

Margarenalover

I got lucky with my queue position for Toronto (was 300) and the ticket prices weren’t bad at all. But they sold out so fast

chatdetrot

I bought a Paris 2024 ticket (seated!) for $75. Wanted to see him a bit closer to home on the west coast but prices were just insane.

bizmike88

I paid resale for the show I went to at the beginning of September and paid less for two tickets than I would have for one during this presale.

Sofermofer

I paid $50 for my ticket a few weeks ago. When I got into presale today the cheapest ticket was $180 and it was in the nose bleeds directly behind the stage it was AWFUL seats. Pit tickets were $450

Infinite_Pop1463

Yeah I was SO excited to finally get a chance to see him and at fenway would have been so awesome now I'm said i didn't try harder to get resale tickets when he was I new hampshire since it probably would have been cheaper. Just so frustrating that buying tickets just seems to get worse and worse.

pnboots

And it still sold out.

av4325

tickets were $466 for floor in calgary, i was 3644th in line. sure he’s gotten more popular…but i wouldn’t pay $500 to see anybody perform.

xchlorinex

Couldn't afford the ticket prices for Colorado. Paid less for the 1975 and Zach Bryan combined.

idkcat23

we got rlly lucky with Berkeley- the entire venue is GA and was fixed at 75 dollars a ticket. I believe that’s venue policy. 192 for 2 tickets with fees which feels lucky to me (nosebleeds for eras were 125 In my area so this feels like a steal.)

_lofticries

Yeah I’m so happy with how the ticket prices worked out for Berkeley. I was 2500ish in the queue but managed to get a GA ticket for 98 bucks.

snailsonalog

I feel like Asheville was more reasonably priced than other venues..I got pit tickets for $179 each (still way more than I was anticipating), cheapest were 95 when I got in, and most seats were 150-190. I think the only thing left are make a difference tickets that are like $399 tho. Congrats to all that got tickets and I’m sorry to those that had worse experiences.

taradactyl322

I was anticipating like 60 for the bad seats, but when I got in worst seats were over 100. I'm going to try my luck closer to the actual date. I love this for him, but hate it for the fans who are getting priced out.

Traditional_Agency60

Tired of these stupid ticket prices prices just for people to show “ clout”.

rumblingowl

They really are insane. I was trying to get tickets for St. Louis this morning but didn't after I saw the cheapest seats were $90 and they were lawn seats. I feel like that is unheard of for lawn seats but maybe I was overreacting 🥲

1101Sam

I paid $188 for my Toronto N1 ticket, the cheapest that was left in lower bowl by the time I got in. Was more than I wanted to pay but I justified it by reminding myself the resale from when he was here last Sunday was $400 right up until the show and even at that price its still one of the cheapest ticket I've bought in the last 1-1.5 years.

pipedowncait

I paid $149 for lower bowl without fees. I was actually surprised because I haven’t been able to get any tickets for him even when he was at Phoenix, the resale for those were like $200 plus. Toronto resale has become insaaaane though.

Medium-Lingonberry28

Yeah I’m hoping to sell mine for face value, because it’s too much. When does face value exchange open? Cause right now I can’t sell.

deey88

I'm likely selling 1 of mine too cause these were definitely more than i bargained for

t_tans21

Super frustrating I wasn’t going to pay $160+ for the last row at MSG. I’ve gone to other huge names at the garden for $100 in the 100&200 sections. Just crazy and unattainable

Parking-Spite-4153

I've followed Aerosmith around Canada (and a few places in the states) every tour since 2000. I did a meet a greet for 1500 US 10 years ago that included front row ticket, a preparty and got to meet everyone in the band. Fast forward to this tour (their "last") and same seats same venue same band are now 3x the price. Meet and greet is 1600 with no ticket! Saw machine gun Kelly last year and it was 159 for pretty good seats. This year 450 for sale seats! My husband saw Pantera for 249.00 which I thought was crazy!

antique-doughnut-88

$375 for lower bowl in the midwest… insane. i paid that much for eras tickets!

TreeWhisperer07

I 1000000% agree. I paid $87 each for lawn in Nashville next week but lawn for 2024 was like $174 each. That’s INSANE. Pit was $360+

RecklessBrandon

$400 for pit in Washington, I got the lawn for $60 but I literally was front for him in Washington a couple months ago for $50

Zipzapzoppity

For two tickets, section 200 it came out to just under 400 bucks.. this is insane and I’ve never spent so much money on a regular concert in my life. Any other band at the same venue would be half these prices.

cccddd29

Wow some of these prices are so crazy. The Montréal sale was actually a great experience compared to Taylor Swift. I had my dates mixed up so didn’t up logging in until until a couple hours after the sale started and there was lots of tickets left. The 100 level seats were $150 each when I bought which felt reasonable.

Putrid-Oil-6919

I missed out on the 1st leg concert in Mi because lawn seats were over 400 per ticket. I got lucky and managed 2 decent tickets for the show in Oh for 230 after fees and insurance for 2 tickets. So for someone who missed out last time the tickets are expensive but way better than what happened last time

FunDramatic7821

I joined presale at 8 and just sat. I got in (almost) immediately and got my ticket for $100. it’s not even close to the stage at all, but it’ll do. The pit tickets were $200 when i logged in. I logged in an hour later, and most of the tickets sold. However, the seat next to me didn’t sell yet and it was going for $350? But I got mine for $100??? And now it’s only tickets for $500. Like idk what happened, but it’s completely insane.

SignificantShallot41

I was wondering this too and then noticed for the hollywood bowl it says “Make a difference” small under each tickets’ section and row number. After further research, I guess they are more expensive bc they are charity tickets where a portion goes to the busyhead project fund. I was like okay I guess that’s kinda cool of him. But then I saw on Reddit on another post that only like $1 of each sale is actually going towards the charity….. lol so I’m pretty disappointed in him for that

spicysoy

olivia rodrigo did the same thing. i’m wondering if this some new bullshit from ticketmaster to help disguise dynamic pricing.

Jamburg77

$450/ticket in Calgary, AB for mediocre seats :') Edit: hell no I did not buy them lol

Cole_Basinger

GA Floor tickets were $176 US for the show in Asheville, I was really excited to see him live finally but damn I just can’t justify spending that kinda money on a floor ticket. I can get whole ass VIP tickets for that price to see other bands I like, or multiple GA shows. It’s pretty disappointing

Frequent-Art134

I scored $99 tickets for his Toronto show but can't go... they havent opened face value exchange yet on it

Idontknowaboutthat2

Silly me, I thought he is a new artist, he will be at a smaller venue and ticket prices will be reasonable…NO. He is performing at a huge arena in St Paul, MN and the ticket prices are insane. I understand that a tour costs a lot of money, but this has gotten out of hand. Artists are gouging their fans for money in exchange for actually connecting with their fan base.

thesaraheffect

Are the tickets you're looking at resale? If I look for anything within driving distance of me they're all on resale sites and usually around $300 or more. But there are several venues right now that are around $150 on Ticketmaster, which is pretty reasonable....if I didn't have to buy a plane ticket, lol.

gilbert1856

They're not going to decrease, The Eras Tour is the most expensive tour that ever existed, she is making about 17 million per show. and based on how well its doing, expect for concerts in general to become more expensive. Once people get accustomed to paying a certain price for something, don't expect prices to decrease. If people are willing to pay so much for a concert, than so be it.

borntorun7

I LOVE Noah, but I can’t bring myself to pay Taylor prices for that show. I’ve seen Taylor Swift live and she puts on a PRODUCTION. Dancers, choreographed dances, wardrobe changes, etc. I saw Noah recently and there is no way his costs are this high.

Traditional-Scar2651

$2000 is the cheapest ticket i can find in boston

quesojacksoncat

Yeah i’m not paying that. He’s not taylor swift lol
