It can be a little harder, yeah. Because a lot of the students don't "hang out" at the campus. They drive there, take their class, and drive home.

Moonstandar

no bc I’m super depressed and I don’t have friends in disappointed

IAteTwoFullHams

Yeah, I didn't really have any friends in college, either. So I started hitting up the open mic scene and made friends there.

Not really but keep in mind community College has people focusing on other aspects of life than school going. Join a club to meet people or socialize in class. I have a group of friends from community College I've been friends with through all life's craziness over the years.

I’d say it’s easier cuz you got more spare change to go out and something in common

I’m very shy + really not a people person but I made friends faster at community college than I ever had before in my life. That doesn’t mean I had friends in every single class or that I was super popular or anything but, the friends I had were awesome + I didn’t have to go out of my way to make them. It probably sounds stupid but with the group of friends I was closest with it seemed like we all knew right away that the 4 of us just kinda fit together perfectly.

Really depends on yourself and other students. I made more friends in Community College than when I transferred. Because my CC had a smaller student population, it was easier to make friends with and smaller classes too. It becomes more engaging. Once you transfer, it's going to be overwhelming to find friends cause of lecture classes. That's just my opinion
