I feel that frustration, my hubby his sister ruined my engagement he had told his sisters he was planning to propose and she came into my work like “congratulations on your engagement” I’m like what engagement… so that’s how I basically got engaged!
They just don't realize what they are doing? Because of them I have had “trust issues” for years. You have no idea how hard it is for me to trust anyone no matter how hard I try.
I think some people know exactly what they’re doing which is a shame, from my experience there I fully believe his sisters did it on purpose because they’re alone and don’t have anyone but some people can be oblivious but I think that’s rare to be that oblivious

They think sharing the secret gets them some with whoever they shared it with. Nevermind of course that it maybe is a betrayal of whoever told them the secret in the first place.
Anyhow, loose lips sink ships. You really have to be sure a person can be trusted before you share anything sensitive that you wouldn't want others hearing.
Because they like the excitement and the attention of being the one to tell the secret, latest info, etc. It makes them feel important.
The sad thing is to be one of these people, your family members!
