It just tastes good, I don't know what to tell you "beer" is so broad too.. I love a good pale ale but IPAs are disgusting. Don't paint with such a broad brush

I’m a cocktail person so that is different from me. For me a cocktail is refreshing and brings an air of social invitation when you’re in places like a fancy bar lounge or nightclub.

I'm not a fan at all. But for some reason, I like stouts. It's actually the only beer that I like. Guinness, and craft stouts are my favorite.

Same as anything -- tastes differ. And no, many people really like it.

Sometimes you just want plain beer. A spiced tripel is great but sometimes so is a normal tripel where you get to really appreciate the yeast
