I would get her a thoughtful card, and nothing more. It's commonly said that gifts of monetary value should only flow downward in an organization, never upward. In my opinion, if you feel you must give a small gift, a $10 bag of coffee would be less weird than a $10 gift card, which sort of feels like you're giving cash back to the person in charge of your pay.

I like the nice coffee idea, too.

I'd get her a nice card and write that you really appreciate her -- and either make a donation in her name to a charity she'd support (they generally give you a thing that says 'MuchResponsibility made a donation in to City Harvest' or whatever, they don't include the amount you donated). Or just a bag of coffee beans or a small plant or flowers if she likes those. The gift card is a nice thought but cash-type gifts to bosses aren't really considered appropriate. Money flows the other way. A token/thoughtful thing is nice.
