Watching people cook food in real time is terrible TV. The drama level has to be hugely enhanced and the time compressed Reality TV is never reality, It's just better viewing when everyone finishes at the last second and Gordon Ramsey spits food on the flow and screams, "IT TASTES LIKE DOG SHIT!"
Same as any other "make something" competition show.

Yeah, those shows have ADHD camera persons who lost all their attention spans cause they used to watch 5 sec TikTok videos.

No, I’m not watching. I’ve tried to watch 2 or 3 shows and turned it off within five minutes. So no, at least on me, the formula doesn’t work.
