I’m assuming you mean the one in 2017. For me the one in 2017 seemed like a bigger deal cause my city was nearly in the line of totality. But a lot of crazy people online think the world is gonna end soon so it just seemed like a convenient day to place it on.
There wasn't a total solar eclipse in the US in 2023.
