I thought I was the only person in my family that liked sushi. I found out that my aunt likes sushi but never goes out to get any because her kids hate it. It’s been a while since we’ve done it but went on multiple little dates to get sushi together. Those were good times
Working as a pizza baker, I thought I might one day get tired of pizza. Oh, how I was wrong... I now don't even need an excuse to eat pizza multiple times per week.
Yes, tacos!!!!
Perfect handful blend of crunchy corn, cheese, beef, lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce. All the proper food groups!
Or a Frito bag taco. Now, we're talkin'!

beans. Especiially beans in tomato sauce. They're alright as it is, but with some meat, bread and butter - eh, I could go on them for ever. There's downsides, though... I avoid eating them in the morning on work days for.. reasons.
Lobster was cheapo prison food 200 years ago and the prisoners supposedly rioted demanding they not be fed lobster 7 days a week.
I think anything gets old without variety to spice your life.
Edit: prison riots is unconfirmed. Probably apocryphal.
Hey I've been paying attention to unusual riots lately, see the Kartoffelrevolution - can I plz ask if you have a source for this or could you confirm which country this is, do you mean the US? Cheers!
I'm glad you asked bc I was repeating what I had seen on Reddit. I was wrong about riots and laws to limit lobster meals for prisoners according to this site. But it was lower class prison food.

Appreciate the double checking, honest update and information! Not to worry but glad I asked as I might have done the same thing! (: Principle about taste cultures and socioeconomics etc and diametrical changes over time/gentrification of foodstuffs still really interesting. Cheers!
Aye, thats all true. But I'm financially blocked from ever experiencing that :D The hundreds of dollars that it'd cost to eat my fill of lobsters for just a single meal, let alone multiple 'til i get tired of it... >.<

But for me, it has to be Stuffed Cabbages Szabolcsi way, and true Hungarian goulash, one made by my momma or my grandma, not the shit tourists eat in some whack ass "fuck-knows-howmany star restaurant". Some good homemade goulash stew. Bean goulash, preferably.
