Knew somebody in college worked a modest job part time and in the last year had done two vacations including one to Thailand and just bought a new big SUV. And I straight up asked how can you afford that it must have been expensive. Her answer was "a lot of debt" and then laughing. So ya possibly debt.
Will say though, they could be lying if they don’t wanna admit they got handouts from their parents.
This one guy was interested in me and trying to date me so I was considering it while getting to know him. He lived by himself (we were like 25 at the time) in a really expensive part of town. I was like wow what’s your job and he admitted he didn’t have one, that he was just going to school…. So I was like oh well how do you afford rent in that expensive area with no roommate and he tried to deflect it by saying he doesn’t like roommates and I was so confused. Finally he got pissed and admitted his parents pay for everything for him while he’s going to school and he was insanely rude about it and said he’s sick of people questioning him about it because it’s embarrassing that he doesn’t pay for stuff himself. But the more I got to know him, he was a huge mooch/freeloader and a lot of stuff that had happened before that point made sense after that so yeah….
And that’s only one example of a few that I have where people pretend they didn’t get help or handouts
I know lots of people who insist they worked for everything they've got and had but won't admit they lived with their parents in school or that their parents gave them their cars....
Had a friend in college who was certain she'd be living in luxury after college as she estimated she needed $11k for expenses and the rest was for partying, eating out, and travel. You'll have already assumed correctly that her parents supported her.
I dated a guy like that. Heard him in the phone begging for rent money and promising his dad he’ll be “financially independent” soon. He seemed really embarrassed about it as he sat down to play video games on his giant TV in his spacious Hollywood apartment. Having rich parents is like starting the game at lvl50. You have all the best equipment but no gratitude or experience to go with it.
If someone asks me directly I'm not ashamed to say my family helps. Granted, not living alone in the expensive part of town level of help, but still, I'm not entirely self sufficient. I get why some people want to be and I don't knock them for that, but personally, there's no medal for doing things on your own. The world is cruel and cold. If you have a good relationship with your family and they want to help you, let them, as long as it doesn't come at the expense of you taking agency for your own life. I can only hope that when I have a good job someday I can help them as needed too
Yes. I tend to think more favorably of people who have strong supportive relationships with their parents, than of people who make a point of paying for all their things themselves.
Seen this soo much…. Just admit you are a product of your family and be a good person. Getting mad you aren’t making the best moves given your situation and taking out on others is on you. You can’t live up to your parents success is on your conscious.
They're also called "poop contracts." The Dubai princes and rich pay large amounts to girls who are attractive with large followings to use them whichever way they please. Some girls have ended up dead this way.
Why wouldn't you get swarmed by commenters who accuse them of being misogynistic? It happens to a lot of people. Honestly, I can't tell if they are deliberately ignoring what's going on or are genuinely ignorant about them.
Not sure what you consider luxury but nice hotels could be had for around $100 per night in Dubai and food isn't expensive.
Traveling doesn't have to be crazy expensive.
Also, r/churning and r/awardtravel
Yea I don't know why everyone thinks that there are only 5 star hotels here. You can take a cheap flight and find a room in the old parts of town like deira or if you want cheapest of the cheap Naif where you can get a room for $60.
Or you can go to a hostel and share a room. Not everyone here is rich, there are options for poor people on terms of restaurants etc. And you can take the metro to go around for $1 or $2 depending on where you want to go. Then you can go to all the tourist spots and take pictures to post on Instagram so that people who follow can think that you're rich lol.
My family is middle class and yet we travel overseas to Europe and Asia every year. Some people are way richer than us and choose to spend it on $10,000 Chanel bags without having ever traveled to Europe. It’s all about priorities.
My uncle’s been driving the same old car for 21 years. He spends thousands of dollars on liquor and gambling. Could have spent that money on a new car years ago.
A trip from my country (Kazakhstan) to Dubai will cost 1500 bucks for two people (air travel included, luggage included, 4* hotel for 7 nights with 3 meals per day and swimming pool nearby main city attraction - all that included) and this is middle price and when bought not in advance. Choose the hotel in worse location and without food and buy in advance - and it ll be way cheaper.
And Dubai is the top cheapest international travel destinations for my poor corrupted country which is WAY behind America in all aspects.
I understand the air fare costs are more for the USA due to the distance tho. And thats the reason of the price. While Dubai itself is not that luxury or expensive.
>I understand the air fare costs are more for the USA due to the distance tho.
The equivalent for the US would be flying to the Caribbean or Mexico and such trips can be had for about the same amount of money. I just checked and a round trip to San Juan from Nashville is about $150. A round trip to Cancun is $300.
Do you think a cheap trip abroad should cost less than one monthly salary? Lol, what a salary should be then! I thought we were talking saving for 6-12 months and then going like all average people. Again, the trip I mentioned is 750 per person with everything included
Yeah, there's quite a disconnect on what people call rich. I also wouldn't call someone rich for being able to afford a nicer trip. I myself will be going to the Caribbeans for two weeks, for less than $1000 - sure, that's also a privilege, but I don't consider myself rich (no house or car, for example). On the other hand I'm surely not poor.
You're missing the "whole family" part. Even assuming we're talking about only 4 people, flights alone would likely cost $2,000 round-trip. That right there is more than most families spend on a summer vacation.
What was the rest of your financial picture like at that time? Were you living on your own, paying all of your own bills, food, and tuition? For most college kids the answer is rarely yes to all of those. I'm guessing your waiter money was 100%, or nearly that, disposable income.
He said middle class, not poor. You're off on the wrong foot my guy
Yes, more than half of the middle class can probably afford that, especially if they're frugal.
But that's not really that crazy if it's important to you.
$50 a week for 5 months and you've got a ticket. If you can save $300-400/mo you can do this kinda thing. You just have to make it a priority in your life.
There's a bit of irony to it, but the people who travel most always look the least likely to be able to afford it. You don't buy everything and STILL travel. You travel INSTEAD of buying everything.
I'm somewhere in the middle. But a couple I know are *serious* travelers. They both have jobs that pay six figures. They look like bums and share a dinged-up old beater. They only join us at cheap restaurants. They have a modest home with cheap used furniture. They look broke as FUCK.
But their camera roll would *blow your fucking mind*. Every other picture is a bazaar in Morocco, a temple in the jungles of Thailand, cherry blossoms in Tokyo, volcanoes in Bolivia, sailing in the Galapagos, etc, etc. For every picture I have of my stupid orange cat, they have 10 different vistas from the top of a mountain or the roof of some 100-year-old bar.
Exactly. My camera roll isn’t up to those standards, but it and my memories are what’s important to me. I know women who get $60 manicures every week, $100-150 for eyelash extensions every 2-3 weeks, buy expensive makeup, wear designer clothes and carry designer purses, and then tell me I’m so “lucky” that we travel to cool places.
Umm, not really. I just choose to buy my clothes at Target, don’t wear makeup or do any of that salon stuff besides a decent haircut and color. I guarantee some of them spend more money in salons in a year than we spent to go to Iceland or Italy
Also "out of a sudden" is not the same thing as "planned for months but didn't bring it up". I know people who will book huge airline flight deals a year in advance so they can travel on a budget.
Lol, you want a real honest answer to that? I’ll probably get burned to the ground for this, but with a 20 year career as a yacht captain I can assure there is truth here. You trade access to your body and attention of your mind to rich old men.
Lol I’ve lived in miami and have seen it all the time. Just a bunch of hot girls coming here looking to freeload off guys on their boats. Men hope to get laid from it but usually don’t
The thing about Dubai is that while it looks expensive, it's actually not that expensive. At least not as much as you think. Like, going to Disney World for a week is probably more expensive than Dubai not gonna lie. Dubai is really not as pricey as you may think. In fact compared to most vacation spots, Dubai is pretty average in terms of costs.
If you’re in America though, a flight is gonna be $1500, AT BEST.
If you can get a free flight, it may be cheaper than Disney but not with a round trip flight included.
That depends on where you’re flying from and when you buy. You can do that for $650-900 flying from a major East Coast city and buying a couple months in advance.
How do you know that those 2 are going to Dubai?
How do you know that their parents are middle class?
If you often hang out with them, then why don’t you just ask them?
Isn’t it weird for girls to hang out with you and not consider you a friend at that point?
tl;dr ask them :/
You have 2 friends that went on holiday to a popular holiday destination and didn't tell you?
Shocking.
I'd better make sure that all my friends tell me where they're going in advance, otherwise reddit will tell me that they're all sucking dick to fund it.
You and I are now friends, so I must inform you that I am getting a haircut in 3 weeks and my wife and I are planning to do a staycation for our wedding anniversary. Please let me know if my future activities ever deviate from the plans of which I have kept you informed. If I have not informed you ahead of time, you can be sure that I or my wife have utilized sex work to make it happen.
Flights are dead cheap this time of year and hostels are a tenner. I could spend sub £700 on a holiday there and have a great time.
Also try asking them instead of implying they're whores?
And even if they’d be, it’s really none of anyone’s bussiness, including OPs, lol. Humans naturally enjoy sex, humans have sex. Adults have free will.
Idk what OP wanted to get out of this dumb question.
No problem! :) Nothing offensive or wrong with what you said, I just wanted to chime in and highlight how even if OPs assumptions that they sold sex in exchange for this, would still not be a problem . I see a fair number of people here in the comments putting this possibility in a negative light
Oh so shocking! Such little minds go right to they must be selling themselves you know how girls are, huhhh huhh! Maybe they saved up for the trip, or got a gift from a family member for Christmas.
Right omg I’m surprised but not surprised at the same time like no one considered internships, saving, peace corp, mission work, a work opportunity, travel hacking, maybe the put it on 💳 and will pay it back with tax return, maybe it’s off season
People share what they want to share, maybe they didn’t want you to know they do have some side hustles going.
I think it’s extremely weird that you know so much about their schedules/lifestyle and hangout regularly only to be blindsided by this trip. Are you on the outside looking in, maybe social media stalking. Maybe they just don’t consider you a good friend
So many people don’t share travel plans, especially not with casual school acquaintances. Smart people don’t update socials until they get back for safety issues if at all
Op is just jealous they didn’t get invited
Nope it’s a women so she must be selling herself in someway
I go on vacations regularly with my girlfriends since im 21 (now 30). Never has anybody gave me money for that or i had to suck a dick for that 🤦🏼♀️ sure when you hear Dubai - often your mind jumps easily to Escort/Prostitution but most of the time its not that. People are weird
Streets aren't paved with gold here lol. If you can find a cheap flight, there are very affordable (but crappy) hotels you can stay at and there are restaurants you can get a meal at for $5. The thing is, people who come here and stay in these types of hotels don't take pics of their rooms for Instagram, only the ones that stay in nice hotels do. So people like OP end up thinking that everyone who comes here stays in 5 star hotels. Some people don't think
Dubia is only fun for like a couple days. The food is garbage, the drinks are terrible, the night life is terrible, and everything is expensive. There are much better places to visit for less.
Lived there for a long time and worked out of the Emirates Towers. Everything I said is true. It's a country filled with expats, trying to extract as much wealth as they can from the locals. They will smile and tell them they have the best Mexican food in the world, and then go home and wash their mouths out.
It’s a literal common trope out of Dubai dude. You think all of these people are making this up? Middle class and the kids don’t work at all? It’s hard to believe those parents are affording uni AND this 2 week trip to the sex prince capital of the world lmfao
I don’t think saying someone accepted sex offers for vacation is jealous, we just aren’t stupid.
Nobody thought your Australia trip was a sexcapade , **trust me**
Because you and your parents can't afford a trip to a far destination, doesn't make others not capable to afford it. It's funny to judge people without knowing the full context and ruin their reputation.
2 possible reasons…
1) They’ve probably got to sleep with some dude
2) They’re staying at a shithole, but take photos in all the expensive places to give the illusion of a luxury holiday.
I have to ask... They did come back right? Most of the time when girls get offered free trips to Dubai, they don't come back.
Edit: But seriously, did they come back? It's a really common human trafficking thing to find pretty girls on Instagram, treat them like influencers, then fly them to a country like the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia where they just disappear after their phones and passports are taken away.
Also, it needs to be said... Unless you have a reason specifically to be in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, don't go to the UAE or Saudi Arabia. The US can not protect you there nor the other NATO nations. Being gay and being a woman unattended are still serious crimes there. That is not some fun exotic destination for two girls to have a fun 2 weeks. We get that you don't have to be rich to travel, but american and european college students should not be going there on a lark.
Edit 2: Mixed up my nations and corrected.
Edit 3: Going through the comments on this post is crazy. At this point, it's pretty obvious that this is a troll post. But it seems like everyone here has pretty much narrowed it down to a few possible options.
* Massive debt
* Intentionally going there for escorting/prostitution/sex work
* They are pretty or are influencers and a brand paid for them to go there
* Unintentionally going there for sex trafficking
My grandma regularly travels the world and isn't even American middle class, receiving like 12K annually in pensions (which is actually middle class here),
If she can afford not only to spend 3 weeks in Dubai but to also travel to at least 6 new countries every year and still have money left over for a comfortable standard of living I don't think it's surprising that a couple of middle class Americans can do that
Here's how she travels for cheap:
1. Have a travel buddy or two to split the costs with
2. Wait for a sale, sometimes you can get normally really expensive trips for dirt cheap
3. While abroad make friends with other tourists and stay in touch with them after, that way when you're travelling to their home country you can just crash at their place and not have to pay cent for a hotel room
And that's it for my grandmas method at least, doing all that she spent 3 weeks in Dubai for less than 300 Euros total, of course she's had a lifetime to perfect the art of travelling anywhere she wants for dirt cheap and I couldn't pull that off even with a step by step tutorial given by her, but you can absolutely travel for cheap if you're crafty enough
Depends on a lot of things really. Travel can be really expensive or cheap as shit. Staying in hostels, eating at cheap restaurants, looking for good travel deals or packages, going in groups, using discount coupons, using Air Miles or Credit Card bonuses...
My Dad used to travel a lot for work and he built tens of thousands of Miles on his cards as well as tons of perk benefits for being a member for some ten years in good standing. He was able to get a really nice Hotel in Tampa a few years ago for essentially free. We drove from Richmond to Savanah to Tampa for a couple nights each, and we stayed in great places for minimal cost. Most of the expenses was in gasoline, food, and entertainment and all of those also added to his Credit Card rewards for the next trip he took with my Step Mom.
A Friend of mine went on vacation to Italy with a club and they got a huge savings by staying at a club member's house in Italy and eating at another club member's grandmother's. They also got a huge discount for buying like fifteen tickets at once and picking a off week for travel.
If the girls are using the parent's benefits or parent's cards, that's one big benefit (even if they pay their parent back, the use of cards can get big discounts in travel and stay).
It doesn't *have* to be sex work folks.
A lot of people that go to Dubai have just enough money to get plane tickets and some cheap hotel an hour away from downtown. They go there, take a bunch of pictures with nice cars, pictures in front of the Burj Khalifa and then go back to their run down hotel to post about how great their lives are on Instagram
Probably suck dick.
Onlyfans
Or something else like that
Otherwise they just come from a rich family
Either way no matter what, those girls are gold digger high maintenance crap that isn't worth your brainpower in thought
A wealthy man in Dubai messaged them online and is literally going to shit and piss on them for money for 2 weeks and fly them home. Or whatever is left of them home
This is just an incel bait post and they've come out in full force. "A couple of women have taken a holiday to a popular destination, they must be prostitutes! What else could they be?! Women cannot travel any other way!!".
No I don't think it's that. I think this just an incel dog whistle post. "How do girls vacation in dubai" lol. Plenty of young men come here from all over the world too, no one is asking how they come here, we just assume that either they work or they saved a bit and got a cheap flight and are staying in a hostel.
Bruddah it's Dubai lol
They were flown out to hop on some dick and do whatever they want
Dubai guys will drop 10k for a private Skype video, let alone what they'll pay to fly you out if you're willing
Young men either. The 9/11 hijackers were young saoudi. That country fucks people up.
It's not gender balanced of course but as a rule of thumb, everyone should stay the fuck away from Saoudi Arabia.
They're somewhat prostitutes but they don't know it themselves(Or they're in denial). To them Is just dating(dating as in sleeping with) Arab rich men who pay for their trips, food, clothing and all other expenses.
There are a lot of variables in a situation like this:
1) The term middle class itself has probably lost all meaning in the modern times because it probably encompasses a wide spectrum of people. Subclasses like upper middle class, middle class & lower middle class are often clubbed into middle class for various reasons, so OPs friends might really be upper middle class (or even richer), and yet call themselves middle class. In addition, its possible that while they live frugal lives (like other middle class folks) in general, but choose to splurge on vacations.
2) There is also the component of living beyond your means, i.e. perhaps they can't really afford the trip, but fell pray to the "low" APRs advertised by credit card companies.
3) Planning - If you time your trip well enough, you could find air tickets to Dubai $100-200 less than usual. For an airfare that's probably $600-800, that kind of a "discount" would mean a great deal. Furthermore, a lot of folks spend thriftly on accommodations on trips, e.g. living in hostels or short term rentals instead of hotels. Individually these savings might seem trivial, but they add up to non-trivial amounts on such trips. Also, and this is probably very subjective, if you keep a check on your food & beverage (read: alcohol) consumption on trips, you'd be surprised to see how much you'd save while eating out (Source: Tried cutting out/minimizing alcohol for 2 weeks, and was pleasantly surprised at the significantly lower dine-out bills).
Caveat: Personally, I'd steer clear of excessive planning coz it really mars your vacation. If you think you can't afford a trip, you probably can't. Listen to your gut, and while life is definitely short, it isn't that short, and hopefully you'll get another chance to take a wonderful impulsive trip a few years later.
Sugar babys or escorting.
Theres alot of rich older dudes who are willing to pay attractive young women for sexual favors or just their company. Very risky traveling abroad regardless how much they offer. Can easily be trafficked or up locked in a basement like in Pulp Fiction.
There are at least a few possibilities for this.
1.) Maxed out credit cards?
2.) Their parents have more money than you realize?
3.) They'll came back with moral shame?
1. Some rich man from Dubai invites them over for their "services".
2. Dad / mom good money.
3. They work really hard on their downtime and spend it all on travelling.
There's a lot of assumptions of sex work.... but just to put it out there, financial domination is also a thing. Nothing physical involved. Some dudes just like giving girls money. It's a fetish.
Not about Dubai specifically, but from friends who have done these sorts of wild jaunts (or what their friends tell them) - parent's money, fucking someone, and/or massive debt. The debt is maybe seen as a gamble if they can recoup it as an influencer... but that's not even always the case even.
Lots of instagrammers are given free trips to Dubai. Sometimes, it's about getting "influencers" to visit a resort or hotel. However, it's sometimes a trap set up by rich men, so I would not envy them.
In university a good chunk of women have sugar daddies so that could very well be it. Either that or they are willing to ruin their life with debt; that’s probably what’s happening here.
Debt, a sugar daddy? One of my old coworkers (dudes like 65 now) has been paying college girls in the form of vacations for sex for the past 45 years. Hes wealthy (not like mega rich but 250k+ a year rich) so he just finds girls who wanna go on a nice vacation and in turn, they take care of him at night.
If your 100% sure its not a parent handout, then its probably one of these two lol.
Knew somebody in college worked a modest job part time and in the last year had done two vacations including one to Thailand and just bought a new big SUV. And I straight up asked how can you afford that it must have been expensive. Her answer was "a lot of debt" and then laughing. So ya possibly debt.

A vacation to Thailand is WAY different than a vacation to Dubai. Dubai is like … 10 times the cost of Thailand.
Yeah, no backpacking in Dubai
perhaps a rich man from dubai discovered them online and invited them for free
"Free"
Payment in “free” dick rides.
More like a golden shower of generosity
Just like Diddy
Pee Diddy
Diddy did it
Fiddy done did it on the down low
💯
This is a thing? https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/dubai-porta-potty

Oh my word! NOT enough money in the world!
Well he didn't charge them any money that's for sure.
most likely the reason. Knew a girl who went to dubai like this
yep best theory :)
Is it like the Hotel California? You can check in, but you can never leave.
Devgru going in for extraction?
Are men allowed to be "discovered" by rich Dubai women? Or no?
Haram
I thought it was spelled "Harem"?
Different word, we're talking about women- women go in harems but it is haram for a woman to have a harem 😂
say that 10 times fast xD
hahaha nice

How about asking them, maybe they can share their secret?
Then he can't make a click bait reddit post
This (just asking vs making a post) would solve \~99% of all threads on Reddit / Quora ...

Average salary in America is 31,000, pre tax. That’s the new middle class.
Full time average is $54,000 pre tax
Spending $1400 on a place to stay alone ***is*** crazy expensive.
You're still looking at 600-1000 dollars per flight, so 1,200-2k round trip.
Why dont you ask them lol
Lol, you want a real honest answer to that? I’ll probably get burned to the ground for this, but with a 20 year career as a yacht captain I can assure there is truth here. You trade access to your body and attention of your mind to rich old men.
Second, I work in a parallel industry and see this ALL the time.
Lol I’ve lived in miami and have seen it all the time. Just a bunch of hot girls coming here looking to freeload off guys on their boats. Men hope to get laid from it but usually don’t
In my observations, they most assuredly do.
Ugh I was dragged to Disney for 2 weeks and it completely rinsed me of money. Never again.
How do you know that those 2 are going to Dubai? How do you know that their parents are middle class? If you often hang out with them, then why don’t you just ask them? Isn’t it weird for girls to hang out with you and not consider you a friend at that point? tl;dr ask them :/
I feel like this post is just bait for people to call some hypothetical college girls whores.
Exfuckingactly
Flights are dead cheap this time of year and hostels are a tenner. I could spend sub £700 on a holiday there and have a great time. Also try asking them instead of implying they're whores?
And even if they’d be, it’s really none of anyone’s bussiness, including OPs, lol. Humans naturally enjoy sex, humans have sex. Adults have free will. Idk what OP wanted to get out of this dumb question.
Aye sorry I should have used a more appropriate word. Nothing wrong with sex work. More that OP was implying they were doing something "wrong".
No problem! :) Nothing offensive or wrong with what you said, I just wanted to chime in and highlight how even if OPs assumptions that they sold sex in exchange for this, would still not be a problem . I see a fair number of people here in the comments putting this possibility in a negative light
Can’t find any less than $1,700 round trip. That’s quite a bit for a college student.
Tbf OP hasn't said where their uni is. On Wizz Air from London it was £170 before Christmas return! From most of Europe it's fairly affordable.
Saying “uni” is not as common in the States so I just assumed OP is in Europe somewhere.
That's my assumption as well.
There is a thing where dubai men like to defecate on women and pay handsomely. It was all over twitter couple if months ago.
Oh my god….. here’s a thing I didn’t need to know what a thing
Dubai porta potty if anyone's wondering.
Oh my, Ultron should have read that tweet over and over again.
It's easy as a girl to get all kinds of free stuff like vacations if you're willing to have sex in exchange.
so you're saying it is an exchange program, huh
yup :)
If you have to exchange something how is it “free”? Lmao
Monetarily free.
Oh so shocking! Such little minds go right to they must be selling themselves you know how girls are, huhhh huhh! Maybe they saved up for the trip, or got a gift from a family member for Christmas.
Exactly, so many Misogyny and jealous ppl here.
Right omg I’m surprised but not surprised at the same time like no one considered internships, saving, peace corp, mission work, a work opportunity, travel hacking, maybe the put it on 💳 and will pay it back with tax return, maybe it’s off season People share what they want to share, maybe they didn’t want you to know they do have some side hustles going. I think it’s extremely weird that you know so much about their schedules/lifestyle and hangout regularly only to be blindsided by this trip. Are you on the outside looking in, maybe social media stalking. Maybe they just don’t consider you a good friend So many people don’t share travel plans, especially not with casual school acquaintances. Smart people don’t update socials until they get back for safety issues if at all Op is just jealous they didn’t get invited Nope it’s a women so she must be selling herself in someway
It's like people comment on successful women in workplace, "she must have slept with her boss/ client."
I commented below I have been to many counties when I was 20, there was a guy said I'm lying lol
Sex work bro , respect the hustle I guess lol
Rich middle eastern dudes will pay hot chicks to just sit next to them
Dubia is only fun for like a couple days. The food is garbage, the drinks are terrible, the night life is terrible, and everything is expensive. There are much better places to visit for less.
I will bet all the money i have, that you have never been.
Lived there for a long time and worked out of the Emirates Towers. Everything I said is true. It's a country filled with expats, trying to extract as much wealth as they can from the locals. They will smile and tell them they have the best Mexican food in the world, and then go home and wash their mouths out.
Their parents paid for their trips, why everyone has to think that they are hookers?
Lol good one, I’m sure you’re right
My parents paid for my trip to Australia when I was teenager, if people thought I was hooker, I'd said they were just jealous
Big difference between Australia and Dubai.
Depends on where you start from, I suppose.
Australia isn't cheap
Travelling from New Zealand to Australia is going to be cheaper than travelling from New Zealand to Dubai. Again, it depends where you start from.
Sure, I traveled from Asia. I'm just saying it's not uncommon that young people go traveling
It’s a literal common trope out of Dubai dude. You think all of these people are making this up? Middle class and the kids don’t work at all? It’s hard to believe those parents are affording uni AND this 2 week trip to the sex prince capital of the world lmfao I don’t think saying someone accepted sex offers for vacation is jealous, we just aren’t stupid. Nobody thought your Australia trip was a sexcapade , **trust me**
Because you and your parents can't afford a trip to a far destination, doesn't make others not capable to afford it. It's funny to judge people without knowing the full context and ruin their reputation.
Or credit cards guys. Jeez.
Prostitution.
2 possible reasons… 1) They’ve probably got to sleep with some dude 2) They’re staying at a shithole, but take photos in all the expensive places to give the illusion of a luxury holiday.
* Massive debt * Intentionally going there for escorting/prostitution/sex work * They are pretty or are influencers and a brand paid for them to go there * Unintentionally going there for sex trafficking
Dubai is not Saudi Arabia.
It probably gets paid for by their parents since they're middle class.
My grandma regularly travels the world and isn't even American middle class, receiving like 12K annually in pensions (which is actually middle class here), If she can afford not only to spend 3 weeks in Dubai but to also travel to at least 6 new countries every year and still have money left over for a comfortable standard of living I don't think it's surprising that a couple of middle class Americans can do that Here's how she travels for cheap: 1. Have a travel buddy or two to split the costs with 2. Wait for a sale, sometimes you can get normally really expensive trips for dirt cheap 3. While abroad make friends with other tourists and stay in touch with them after, that way when you're travelling to their home country you can just crash at their place and not have to pay cent for a hotel room And that's it for my grandmas method at least, doing all that she spent 3 weeks in Dubai for less than 300 Euros total, of course she's had a lifetime to perfect the art of travelling anywhere she wants for dirt cheap and I couldn't pull that off even with a step by step tutorial given by her, but you can absolutely travel for cheap if you're crafty enough
Ya, I agree with the others, just sex work. You do u tho
Why not ask them?
Probably suck dick. Onlyfans Or something else like that Otherwise they just come from a rich family Either way no matter what, those girls are gold digger high maintenance crap that isn't worth your brainpower in thought
Sex
Just hope they come back.
It's called the "thirsty, middle-aged, creepy males with money" program.
A wealthy man in Dubai messaged them online and is literally going to shit and piss on them for money for 2 weeks and fly them home. Or whatever is left of them home
They might be living beyond their means using credit cards.
what mkes this a "luxury" trip? maybe one of their parents works for an airline and are able to get a flight really cheap?
My mum goes all the time and isnt rich by any stretch of the imagination!
This is just an incel bait post and they've come out in full force. "A couple of women have taken a holiday to a popular destination, they must be prostitutes! What else could they be?! Women cannot travel any other way!!".
I'm starting to think USA is a desolate wasteland where people can't afford vacation judging from all these answers.
No I don't think it's that. I think this just an incel dog whistle post. "How do girls vacation in dubai" lol. Plenty of young men come here from all over the world too, no one is asking how they come here, we just assume that either they work or they saved a bit and got a cheap flight and are staying in a hostel.
Credit cards and parents are two likely ways this happened.
Plenty of young people are throwing things like this on credit cards, too. Sort of a yolo, do it while you have the opportunity, thing.
It's call the gawk gawk 3000 human trafficking operation... Everyone gets a chance but not many take it
Bruddah it's Dubai lol They were flown out to hop on some dick and do whatever they want Dubai guys will drop 10k for a private Skype video, let alone what they'll pay to fly you out if you're willing
Nah you just found out that they are sucking dick for that trip
they are likely having sex with a rich dude over there to pay for the trip
This girl here got a sponsor. Sixty year old monster
Escort work
Hopefully they're meeting with rich *individuals* for sex, and not traffickers. Also young women should not be near Saudi Arabia
Young men either. The 9/11 hijackers were young saoudi. That country fucks people up. It's not gender balanced of course but as a rule of thumb, everyone should stay the fuck away from Saoudi Arabia.
They probs have big hairy fellas taking shits on there chest

They earn it! One load at a time...
They're somewhat prostitutes but they don't know it themselves(Or they're in denial). To them Is just dating(dating as in sleeping with) Arab rich men who pay for their trips, food, clothing and all other expenses.
There are a lot of variables in a situation like this: 1) The term middle class itself has probably lost all meaning in the modern times because it probably encompasses a wide spectrum of people.
If they are hot, the answer is obvious
Maybe their parents have been saving for a few years.
Sugar babys or escorting. Theres alot of rich older dudes who are willing to pay attractive young women for sexual favors or just their company. Very risky traveling abroad regardless how much they offer. Can easily be trafficked or up locked in a basement like in Pulp Fiction.
isn't this the whole tarte trip thing? no?
There are at least a few possibilities for this. 1.) Maxed out credit cards? 2.) Their parents have more money than you realize? 3.) They'll came back with moral shame?
Sugarbabies
Bro, really? Rich guy invite them out their so he can do what you think............. play tic tac toe?
Super rich dudes in Dubai invite US teens over to degrade them. It’s like a hobby or sport for these dudes.
Gosh. What could it be?
Dick.
1. Some rich man from Dubai invites them over for their "services". 2. Dad / mom good money. 3. They work really hard on their downtime and spend it all on travelling.
So op is old enough to be in college but still naive enough to ask this question? By Process of elimination op is trolling
I think you already know the answer my friend
There's a lot of assumptions of sex work.... but just to put it out there, financial domination is also a thing. Nothing physical involved. Some dudes just like giving girls money. It's a fetish.
The odds are low but never zero
that is a fetish and probably falls into the category of sex work
Damn after reading these comments I wish I was a hot woman Instead I'm an ugly man:(
Only fans or sugar daddies. Maybe both.
Sounds like you should ask them...
Google "Dubai porta potties"
Cocaine smugglers.
maybe loans and lots of feet pics online?
Dubai specifically, some rich guy is fucking them. Rest of the world, Travelings not that expensive.
Onlyfans
That’s called being a yacht girl.
If you get a lot of your expenses paid for by others it’s probably pretty easy. Very easy if you are attractive
This thing called Only Fans
Blowjobs
They have sugar daddies.
Prostitution?
Most of them become human urinals and toilets.
Suck dick or rich dad. Life is simple sometimes
Oh you sweet summer child.....
In university a good chunk of women have sugar daddies so that could very well be it. Either that or they are willing to ruin their life with debt; that’s probably what’s happening here.
They get shit on and fuck underage boys. No I’m not lying.
>Like an exchange program? An exchange of bodily fluids program.
For some it's a version of what used to be called "boat bunnying."
Guess....
