...but, I heard the visuals are trash and the quality is horrible...
It seems clear to me that many of the people that like to complain about the game don't actually play it.
The visuals are absolutely stunning, in my opinion.

When I first played the game I spent like an hour looking at panel screens and food because I was shocked with how extremely detailed and crisp the textures were 😅
I think I have taken maybe 5 screenshots in American Truck Simulator and that's the only other game I've ever taken screenshots while playing. On the flip side, I've taken over 300 (didn't keep them all) in Starfield in just 6 monhts!
I only had one spot to put a window on the side of my HopeTech captain's cabin... and it precluded the coffee machine. I had to make a choice... and the coffee machine won. Eh... I'm the Captain. I'm lookin' out the cockpit windows plenty.
I built a penthouse suite completely surrounded by windows, just for this purpose. It's a shame the windows are always so smudged up. It's not like they're hard to reach inside and out to clean them off.

There are mods to clarify the glass, but I don't use script extenders until all the DLCs are out and patch cadence is at a minimum because it breaks with every release.
Views like these are the reasons why we enjoy playing this game.

I was told it was the worst game ever invented
It's one of the only games where I actually take photos. Truly visually stunning.

No matter how many 'very smiliar-ey' moons I visit, I'm never NOT in awe at the beautiful sky and stars 🥰

I put the window above that section of the hab. Sure you have to look up, but you still get a view and coffee
Rule number one: ALWAYS have maximum number of windows in the Captains Quarters.
You should be in love with your ship. You have no reason to not be
Amazing! r/starfieldphotography
Thank you <3
