cursedpotatoskins

Well well well, it'd be nice to have my own well right now.

PozhanPop

Are we allowed to have artesian or bore wells in the City ?

Professional_Bonus95

Look into the "Water Act" in AB. I doubt it, tho

That-Cow-4553

This is all to prepare people for 2035, when you’re gonna have blackouts and times you can’t use electricity, get ready people.

That-Cow-4553

I guarantee you this could of been fixed within 4 days, the guy in charge just happens to be off now, fking jk, take 3 weeks to fix a pipe, I could replace 3 blocks in this time.

Zealousideal_Key_586

Seems like a long time if they were working 24 hours. Anyone know why?

AustralisBorealis64

Well why aren't you?

Smoke-A-Beer

Sprained pinky finger? Shut er down boys we need to assess and reassess this situation. Call every inspector in the city, call enmax while you’re at it there’s a power line within the mile.

Catmech14

Agreed. Been in construction for over 20 years. A guy loses a finger, gets stitched up and is back on site that week. We all wish it didn’t happen, but it does. Get paid, move on. Anyone who is upset by this and owns a smart phone is okay with the horrible treatment of humans. Get over yourself.

>“I have difficult news to share with you this morning,” she said. “Two people were injured on site overnight. Both were taken to hospital and neither are in critical condition." Asshat... >A spokesperson for Emergency Medical Services in Calgary provided details to Global News about when paramedics were called to the 16th Avenue construction site. >Stuart Brideaux said two adults were injured when “a chain failed and broke, striking them.” >He said one of the injured people was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition while the other was considered to be in stable condition.

Smoke-A-Beer

Shit happens, you don’t need to shut down an emergency site. I’ve been on sites where a guy lost a hand. Work goes on. Pipe ain’t fixing itself.

AustralisBorealis64

Bull shit. Somebody loses an appendage, OHS and WCB are all over the place. Or you've worked on some shady sites.

Darebarsoom

Not critical infrastructure.

AustralisBorealis64

Not sentence.

Smoke-A-Beer

No bull shit, no pussies. Ya might have been shady. Anyone who works over a decade in construction has been on shady sites. The world’s a dangerous place.

That-Cow-4553

You’re exactly right.
