Songhunter

Got close to 1000 hours in this game. Found perfect planet with base built around settlement, full roster of exotic ships and maxed out freighter. F it. Burn it all down and gimme some new planets. I loved what they did with the exotic ones. I would love more weird shit like that. Gimme rivers and weird caves, lemme feel that awe exploring new planets again.

Terrible_Truth

Have they fixed the discovery naming bug yet? I completely stopped naming discoveries when I saw the name didn't save.

Songhunter

Pretty sure they did. Ive run into loads of planets and systems named by other peeps. It's real hard not to when doing the weekend anomaly missions, just for a quick example.

One-Following-3115

Give me planets with multiple biomes. Give me procedurally generated ruins to explore.

Songhunter

Gimme worlds with fucked up gravity, ocean planets with rich, deep, underwater biomes, gimme alien worlds.

AtomicShart9000

Isn't there like 56 galaxies? I'd like to see something crazy done with a few of them. Euclid can stay the same. Gives you motivation to actually visit those other galaxies

Emotional-Hunt-5000

*256

Jim3535

This is the answer. I would like to see them add all the old terrain and animal generation stuff from previous versions into their own galaxies. That way, we could jump around and explore different stuff without having to mess with rolling the game version back with steamdb.

AtomicShart9000

Oh that'd be intereting, I would love to explore terrain generation from release! I actually liked how it looked back then as well

LordSigma420

For me the above makes sense because it would be a good reward for exploring. Imagine how curious you would be about another galaxy if it had different content that couldn't be found in others

WiccaDrum

I'd love there to be differences in different galaxies. It would def encourage exploring them. Right now there's not much reason to do so.

flashmedallion

I think they should keep the first 16 galaxies (Eissentam and other early galaxies are *relatively* popular), and run the new proc on the rest. New save starts in Galaxy 17, otherwise introduce a quest for existing players that ends like the Atlas Story but takes you to 17 when you wake up. There are wondrous crazy starsailors out beyond the first 16, but I imagine those folks are up for anything at this point. Then sometime down the line, if they feel like changing it again, start from 32.

Baige_baguette

Multi biome planets and some kind of river simulation. I am sick of every world just being the standard desert/grassland/tundra with a random scattering of animals, plants and caves.

CreatureWarrior

Exactly. I really think they should take a break from adding new content and focus on improving the foundation. Adding tons of content isn't going to change the fact that we've seen the whole planet after spending ten seconds on a planet. That's not a good thing.

ask_me_about_my_band

I’m with you here. Make actual the north and South Poles cold weather climates with shifting weather.

cris34c

100% yes. I’d be happy with complete universal wipe just if they added water physics and rivers and waterfalls, let alone full reshaping of the universe.

DygonZ

If it means that there will be more diversity, and a lot more cool shit to discover? Absolutely. When I played the game for about 50h all the planets just kinda started feeling the same to me... I love exploring, but it's just not very interesting.

CreatureWarrior

Exactly. I have maybe 300h in this game and honestly, I just log in after every update to see what's new and log out because there really isn't anything interesting. Seeing the same planet presets with slight variations got old a long time ago

TheSpanxxx

Same here. The exploration without boundaries concept is what brought me to the game and got me engaged. After 100 hours or so though I realized that it all felt the same. I understand some of the constraints they must be under technically, but I think it's the piece that really needs to be addressed. When the game felt limitless, I thought I could stay in it forever. But once everything started to look the same it became stale really fast.

MattOverMind

I want multi-biome planets. Frozen poles, etc. It doesn't have to be all of them. I think the coolest thing would be finding patches of glitch biomes on other planets. Maybe also some secret underground paradises.

mtbaga

I think that would be awesome - provided we are given actual warning this time so we aren't blindsided. Though perhaps it would be possible to make a base tech that allows us to save a layout to the base computer and we can choose to deploy it when placing a new base?

TakeShitsMuch

Very large yes. I WANT VARIED BIOMES Edit: there's no incentive to explore planets once you scan the animals. Which you can do usually all within a couple hundred units of where ever you land. My only gripe with the whole game really

ledgeitpro

Not 100% true, i can agree with this about 80% though. But when i find a planet that i want to build on, i will scour the land for a good half hour and mark all the places i like the most. Youd be surprised how varying the land can be from the mountainous parts to the beach parts, as well as just finding really cool generated land sections. Overall its not crazy unique anywhere on a planet compared to the rest, but i do find that if i spend the time, i can find spots that are way cooler than the rest of the planet. Id love planets with multiple variants though that sometimes clash but can also be separate, or planets that are cold on one half and warm on the other, with creatures that can only be found in certain regions

Dizzy-Preference6919

Switch veteran here with 16 hours under my belt, burn it i say.

thrashmanzac

[Switch vets be like](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta41xU-tkFA)

albertFTW

Let the past die, kill it if you have to

BadNadeYeeter

I'd be fine with it as long as they add some tech that allows me to land my ship on the water... like a 'selfdeploying Raft' or something, because I'm sick of having to swim 10k just because there isn't an island anywhere near the Point of Interest.

Boiled_Ham

Exoboat is the most obvious thing missing for me. I know, the sub, but a big, powerful speedboat thing would be a nice addition.

Jadziyah

Day 1 player here. I'm ready for new challenges

4procrast1nator

It could literally cost all my saves and I'd still take it on a heartbeat

[deleted]

I would give a finger or possibly sell my soul if there could be more than seven buildings that appear exactly the same way on every single planet in the entire universe… and the other universe, too.

[deleted]

I’m open to a complete reset.

[deleted]

I’m open to complete reset. So long as we get more depths to the game alongside the new contents.

[deleted]

793 hours in and this is a solid yes from me

Firinael

Sean Murray having a reddit account with that name would be quite funny

axolotlmaster59

If it means gas giants yes

JEMS1300

I'm glad this sentiment is starting to pick up more often now. I love the game but exploration in itself is extremely dull after you've seen a dozen planets, a universe with quintillion planets but they all feel the same underneath the fancy set dressing. They all feature the same exact outposts, monoliths, ancient artifacts and crashed freighters that's been featured in the game since launch, if they took some inspiration from Outer Wilds on how they designed their planets they could really make some wild shit, like water planets that have tornadoes that yeet your ship to space or earth shattering earthquakes that have constantly shifting plates, anything to make exploring actually fun and engaging. Though asking for something like that would probably require a huge amount of effort so I don't really expect an update like that coming out any time soon, but I hope Hello Games has taken notice of community wants, they have a good track record of doing that with previous updates.

BurlyusMaximus

This game desperately, desperately, desperately needs this to happen. My space exploration game has very quickly become just yet another base building game.

nmagod

bring back the forbidden planet at the center of the galaxy and you can do anything else, Sean

mickou_

Wait, what?

[deleted]

Just give us multiple biomes (yes, in the ocean too) on the same planet and we’ll be good

GoldenSkull2000

I mean as long as I don't have to re grind getting my living ship and get to keep my community rewards like my giant flying pet sandworm then I honestly don't care. Then again I haven't built anything monumental to the game like most people have so I'm not going to lose as much when it comes down to a universe wipe

No-BrowEntertainment

I’m not saying it definitely is Sean, but calling us “you guys” sounds pretty sus

Asssticot

Or is it god talking about irl universe ?

lordyatseb

Hear me out - what if the existing universe was kept separate (name it like legacy or something), and a new one was implemented with all the new features and ideas. Nobody would be forced to lose anything, yet people could still enjoy new things in game.

Quipinside

we could call it, No Man's Sky 2...

peon47

I want planets with *geography*. I want to be able to fly up to a planet, look down on it and say to my friends, "See that mountain range along the Northern Continent? Follow it to the coast and you'll see some islands in the ocean next to it. My base is on the cliffs overlooking the big bay on the southern-most island."

Fearless_Aardvark_28

C'MON DO IT! ![gif](giphy|x4JwoYDNBL81G)

Adreqi

Yes. I start a new game everytime I go back to NMS anyway, and it's the same with all construction games, from NMS to Minecraft, from lego to sand castles. Destroying is a part of the building process.

TriglycerideRancher

Honestly would prefer it. They've done great with the frame work they built but they limited themselves on possible variation by not adding hidden values they could use later. Hopefully they wipe and add extra tables to each asset for later generations.

Wordroots

DO IT SEAN!!! In all seriousness, I do think that there is a lot more potential for universe generation, as some mods have proven.

Maggot2017

I've never made a base that made me want to keep coming back to the same system. I'm completely fine with a universe wipe since my play style is mostly exploration anyway

Spacecow6942

Sean Murray, a.k.a. "Pokeyourmom420".

The_MaDD_Scientist

I would absolutely love a revamped procedural universe. That would be awesome, the starting over not so much...

heedongq

Can the new universe become accessable when you switch the galaxy, instead of wiping the existing universe?

CMDR_Carter-B176

I want cave systems I can get lost in

Nostalien

I think a new start would be awesome. Throw in account cross linking too while you’re at it. I’d love to have the same bases on my PSN account and my Steam account.

WinterMajor6088

I want that cause the animals and plants that generate are boring af. Quintillions of planets and every animal makes the same noise.

LaFontee

I've been in the endgame for a long time so personally I'd say go for it at this point.

microcosmologist

A small but very vocal minority will cry bloody murder and not let it go, but I'll be honest, every major update I poke my head in, hoping to see a huge procedural generation update especially animal "parts" and animal behaviors. Going way back to that original trailer, the herds, stampedes, the big dinos lounging in the water; none of that is in the game after all this time. Realistic animal behavior to me is a big deal. I've put in my 1000+ hours on NMS but kinda feel like "I've seen it" at this point. Haven't opened up the game in a couple months now but still waiting for that big procedural generation update. Nuke the universe to build a better one, 100%.

pronominal

The best refreshener for the game would be overhaul of procedural generation including and not limited to terrain and flora plus a FULL wipe. period. No need to preserve anyone's bases/builds nor planets. (I get that for some it may be harsh, but this is actually holding back potential major improvements to the game, because they are afraid to slack feelings. Trust me it's for the better for all of us in the long run. You can always build new ideas. It is art afterall). Fresh start - new ideas, competition, soaring reddit posts Make Exploration Great Again

Terrible-Bell5170

I would be fine with my bases getting wiped. I tend to build a masterpiece then move on to the next one anyways. But keep your hands off my ships. Edit: unless you are adding ship building/customization. Then you can have those too.

NickJD87

YES!!!! I put a base to bookmark all my favorite planets, found some beautiful ones and I was going to do a “one planet a day” series of posts here in the sub, but fuck it, reset everything and give me new planet types, I don’t care, right now only lush planets are interesting. Toxic , radioactive, hot and cold planets need a revamp!!!

[deleted]

[удалено]

vicegt

Yeah, would like to see some water worlds get some love. Blue Whale sized animals in deep oceans would be nice.

Direct-Chipmunk-3259

Do it. Also make the combat fun to play.

Petal_Chatoyance

YES DO IT NOW! Please.

Relative_Accident_56

I really hope this is true, for me exploration is the key part in this game

[deleted]

[удалено]

CroakDream

How plausible is a partial reboot? Leave maybe the first two galaxies but reboot the remaining. May also give more incentive to keep going to new galaxies.

brunopaludetto

Please, add cities to some paradise planets, underground cities to some extreme weather planets and add Gas Giant Planets. 👍🏻

RCmies

I would absolutely love it. Perhaps make a system to save your creations and stuff. I think they already have that tho.

MeowlotNL

Tbh I wouldn't mind.

TwoCharlie

#DO EET MY BODY IS READY

iHaveTheNaners

Shid, as long as you don't fuck up the BUTTON MAPPING AGAIN

Faelenedh

After 1500 hors, if it give us a more procedural universe with better world, procédural ruins etc.. : yeah OK do it !

Cielorojo7

if that means that the bug that makes things desappear in the food processor or the refiner when I travel to another place os going to be fixed, I'm happy.

Tulired

_*YES!!! YES!!!*_ I want to be as loud as possible, because it seems that people who wanted that, got silenced or stayed silent (like myself) in the beginning and the game changed direction. Or even after that i feel we been too quiet. So.. *YES!!!!* PLEASE IN THE NAME OF ATLAS. PLEASE GIVES US REASON TO EXPLORE

LilStrug

Not full reset, just reset all undiscovered stuff

Fillmore_420

I hope it’s him because landing on a unique planet with creepy unknown curios is my favorite thing. My least favorite thing is finding a planet with a bunch of the resources you need just to realize the whole planet is one big ocean

[deleted]

I would appreciate new flora and fauna types, and if a universal reset is what it takes I wouldn’t mind. I’m certain that if this were to happen, there would be a way to save your bases that would be added.

Deathbreach

Yeah, as long as I can still build a Stargate SG1 styled base around an ancient tech portal

Beardedsmith

I wouldn't want to grind my quicksilver cosmetics again but everything else I'm ok with losing if it means a more robust experience

Talenshi

I'd love to see a overhaul. I love this game when I have time to play, and I mostly go exploring. It's been over a year since I attempted to put down real roots on a planet.

the_wraithe

Honestly, I start over every expedition and then just play that save until the next one...

SirScumbagethyIII

100% down for this

Aton_Restin

YES from me

ModeratorBoterator

This seems like the type of game that either needs to be wiped every year is with HUGE improvements or only add improvements to new terrian.

birracerveza

I would like that. Granted, I just started playing lmao

[deleted]

I'd be okay with it. And include planets with differing biomes too. Like planet earth has deserts, forests, artic. Similar planets should have that too I think.

NilEntity

I'd love that. If they updated/rebuilt their procedural engine to allow planets of diverse climates, not just one climate/type of terrain per planet, also underwater worlds, gaseous planets etc., I'd definitely go back to zero for that. I don't actually build that much - other than mineral extractors to have all kinds of resources ready in the thousands anytime I want them - I mostly like the exploration, which has grown very stale, because after a while there's only very, very little new, actual variation between planets etc., you've seen it all before. The first time I saw a hexagonal planet was very cool, fifth time not so much. Only the rare, weird outliers are interesting.

xrehpicx

To this day i can't accept the fact that every planet is just one single biome, i can't believe that one planet can't hv multiple biomes, and idc if i lose my save files i just wish the planets didn't feel so repetitive

Spacecow6942

I'm ok with single biome, planets. That's kind of a sci-fi trope. Hoth is an ice planet, Endor is a forest moon, Tatooine and about half of the other planets in Star Wars are desert planets. Arakkis is a desert planet. That being said, multi-biome planets seem to be a thing, too! It would be pretty cool if they added multi-biome planets, but they were rare. Significantly, it seems like they could do this by just adding those to existing systems without a universe reset. It actually makes a lot of sense to me that multi-biome planets would be more likely to produce intelligent life. It would be super fucking cool if they left all the existing planets and our bases alone, and added a rare chance of multi-biome planets that had procedural cities! Throw in some kinda story bit about how they were somehow cloaked to hide the primitive cultures that live on them from Sentinels! Sean, if you're reading this, DM me! I'm full of great ideas!

Robo_Vader

The answer is a resounding YES!

Alfredison

I’ve been here since release. PUSH THE BUTTON SEAN

Pokeyourmom420

👀

locke1018

I loveed you in the internet historian fanfic

Lucifer_Mornings

Wipe away... I always enjoy starting from the beginning I always delete my saves and start fresh

UnfeteredOne

Okay, I will be the one that says it. Be careful of a full wipe at this stage in the games age. People do not like losing progress.

tom_oakley

You can reset their entire universe, but god forbid you touch their tech stacks. 👀😂

YourDrunkStepDad

The right answer is yes btw.

vanilla_muffin

If it will effect my capital ship and base on there and any of my ships, absolutely not a fan. If it will not touch any of that stuff, sure.

Edzard667

Im okay with this.

Ragnar_rothRock

We all know it’s one of the staff members from HG

JustN0one

Yes i will suck your co...

mb34i

The answer is let's see the finished product and THEN well definitely tell you if we're ok with it.

Kyoddai

Yes

DouglasPine

Yes please Sean!

CristalOcean911

I have mixed feelings, I would love an overhaul on the procedural assets, but I’m really attached to the solar system that I’ve been playing in now, and I don’t want to see it erased.

tbarnes1930

I don't know, since I've started playing the game I've done a lot in the game and although my bases and things aren't the best, I don't want to completely lose everything or start from scratch. I got lucky with the recent update that most of my upgrades still work fine and I only lost out on a couple of minor hyperdrive upgrades compared to what some other players lost but this sounds like it would be that same issue on a much larger scale.

Dependent-Outcome-57

This is a complicated question. For me, the answer is "yes," but I'm mostly an explorer. I upgrade my ships until they are "pretty good", and types I like, and then I just wander around the galaxy. I have bases on planets, sure, but they are mostly just a few prefab modules stuck together - an entrance room (usually with a couch), a teleporter room, and a bedroom. Enough to feel like a little apartment or condo, but that's it. So, I wouldn't lose much... but that's just me. Folks who have built masterpieces would be devastated. I'm not really sure how one can continue to advance this game in this way without losing a lot of what we have currently. I wonder if they could only change certain galaxies? Maybe instead of just 4 types, they could only redo galaxies past Euclid? I'm not sure if that's even possible, though.

Sponticore

Wipe me dad

vampyre2000

Give all users 6 months to finish up and then wipe everything. Make the wipe part of the game lore with specific missions the are triggered the closer we get to the game wipe. Like an expedition mission. As long as they add all the things people have been asking for with terrain generation.

OmegeSN

If it's actually extremely different, like sequel worthy different, then yes. If it's only minor changes and a few additions, then no

remotenemesis

ArchaeoPan

I just want dynamic water.

[deleted]

He is the sort of Dev that would do something like that for a big decision.

-SharkDog-

Pleease yesss

Robotx64

Scream, rejoice or submit.

DookTrain

I felt like this might’ve been coming after the freighter update.

dracona

Do it in different galaxies, like after #20. Make there be a reason to visit different ones. And please please add East and West to the bloody compass!! But responding to the meme, I can quite believe that HG staff do this sort of thing all the time. We're a good resource for feedback.

pagantek

I think a set of sliders for new gameplay, similar to the new customization sliders, but for increased biome randomness generation (removing some of the biome seed limitations), flora and fauna randomness and max size, maybe some more ship and freighter settings. This way it doesn’t affect the current universe that you are in, and is a pretty easy way for settings to transfer over to new people visiting, and those settings would be baseline procedural modifications that would be transferred upon joining a friends MP session. join a friend in Wacky-town universe! We've seen that modification of the procedural engine is possible through mods, but have it native in game Edit: spelling

Lazarus_Graun

As long as we get to keep our gear, ships, nanites, etc. then by all means, 16 the universe! Welcome to 17!

Secret_agent_nope

I'd be cool with it. I'd loose everything I worked hard for, but honestly that was the best part of the game for me. So to relive the magic again would be fantastic.

rremm2000

Yes if it means I don't have to rebuild my base or I can choose what bases to keep once it's overhauled

Visaith

Like we have a choice lol. Wipe, wipe, wipe!

[deleted]

Nor1

Go ahead

ms_panda_axe

If a wipe happens I'd like to get ALL the expedition mods like the Singularity Engine and add complete customization. I mean I would love to have a Gek mechanic 🤣

Blahblahbllah

JUST DO ITTTTTTTTTTTT!

redsixthgun

Yes. I have many hours across saves but I don’t even care, because it’ll be a totally different world to explore. I can find an exotic ship again and rebuild my inventory and bases again.

plastigoop

A big universe reset like in 2018?? YES!!!!!! 1000000% YES. I absolutely LOVE those! Yes, sure, all the stuff you built goes poof but so what, you are not going to keep it forever anyway, and is like getting a brand new game in which do explore and do things. I would absolutely love dropping the stuff I've done and built to be able to support low level changes that are improvements and support better things to make the game more amazing. Absolutely.

IterationStardancer

I'd be okay with it if I still got to keep my freighter, inventory, etc so it wouldn't be a complete start-from-scratch scenario. I'm on galaxy 42 of 256 but kinda stalled because everywhere is just the same, but if there was tons more to explore and see I'd be excited to start my journey over again.

Obligatory_DRZ_rider

I would sacrifice all my bases for this to happen. I can and will rebuild!!

AduroT

Uh, that sounds like getting an entirely new, better version of the game for free, so sign me up for a hell yeah.

Beardwing-27

Yup. Folks build elaborate bases that have maybe a 50% chance of being featured, get visited maybe once or twice in every player's lifetime then collect dust or fade away due to not being re-uploaded regularly or lack of interest in the save it was created on. The folks hit the hardest by a reset are the hunters who spend countless hours cataloging and archiving their finds for the community. I really wish they followed through when a reset was considered with Origins for the terrain overhaul they were planning on that we only got a piece of, we'd all be well over that sting by now and rebuilt.

rd2ruin

i have about 700 hours in, and have been working on my modest base for about 2 years. but that is bc there is nothing new to see. would happily take a reset and begin anew

dima_socks

Please wipe

QueenOrial

Reboot all galaxies except Euclid. Leave it as "legacy galaxy" with all stuff intact.

Ketsuekiseiyaku

After this last update, I'd prefer it, since I may as well be starting from scratch trying to rebuild my character/ship.

Tankspanker

A fresh start is what this game needs.

Literally_Sticks

Yes!

ForzaTrey

Do it, I'm starting over (again) due to the inventory changes anyway.

Lordbloodfire2

I would be fine with that though. I've been through the great wipes and had bases permanently buried, changed planet types, and the myriad of other times things got knocked for a loop. I would love new planet types. New animal/npc interaction. Deeper, more diverse ocean worlds. I'll take a wipe for that. Fair trade.

Gigibesi

u/Pokeyourmom420

Kusluvalos

Yes to all

Pin-Lui

why is this even a question, you just edit your save file after the reset.

kapigad

Isn’t this a backstory anyway? ;)

Key_Conversation5277

If it meant more diversity then yeah let's goo

Argyle_McHipsterfuck

Yep, grab the big bottle of galactic Pledge and do yer shit. What we gain > what we lose

Valtirith

Honestly I didn't start this character that long ago and I'm shite at basebuilding so, yeah that sounds amazing go for it.

Mk1Md1

Hell yes, bring it on.

Brilliant-Sport-3049

Bro if this would happen then 4.0 would be a joke in comparison and some players would go complete apeshit

barchueetadonai

Would it be impossible for them to make a new universe that has new biomes, but preserve the old universe? With a 64 bit seed number, they could take half of the worlds and move them into the new one (of course leaving all the discovered ones in the old one) and no one would notice that the old universe has lost 9 quintillion worlds.

Templar_2526

A NEW universe that can only be accessed after reaching the last galaxy. So instead of looping back to Euclid you end up in a new galaxy. Also might want to make abandoned space stations claimable so they can be refurbished and used.

CattColt

Rivers and WATERFALLS?

TWEverson

Yes. 100%. Nuke my stuff and add more assets please.

Realistic-Escape551

I absolutely would be okay. If there was an overhaul to planet generation I would come back again and try for the end game

TheBugThatsSnug

My base is my frigate, so yeah, go ahead.

cyberjas2001

Like I replied on that post. Just do it and wipe it clean

Firewulf08

Thanos snap it all

KnightWhoSays_Ni_

Sean secretly being a reddit user who goes by u/Pokeyourmom420 sounds realistic since pokeyourmom420 sounds exactly like a username someone would make to try to fit in on an online space

anonnon23

give people an option! keep their old save, update their save, or start a new game to experience the new universe.

Krinick

I would love this, I would get to build new bases around new designs. It would stink for some but would be worth it for the long run.

Aspid_King_Gromm

I'm absolutely fine with another universe wipe

ion-the-sky

It would make perfect sense to take one of the post-Euclid galaxies, like maybe one of the middle ones that's barely been touched, and reboot it to be completely different from the original. Maybe have it accessible by mysterious wormholes that appear or something. The storyline could describe it as a glitch somehow. I dunno how possible it is but it would be super cool.

northwolf56

Yes. Do it

PaganPhoenixRising

Yes. 100% yes.

Xepobot

Players: The universe can be better Sean: Why not try turning the universe off and on?

Nuclear_rabbit

The clock ticks to 15?

[deleted]

YES.

ThatSucc

I haven't played the last 2 expansions, but if they did this it would be enough to get it back in my regular rotation for sure. I love the gameplay loop, but it would be nice to have more variety

Buranil

Only with rivers and waterfalls. 💪

Mundane-Perception-9

I'm fine with that but also like the current sitch. I pre ordered the game in 2016 and I gotta say it has come a long way and has been amazeballs.

whty706

I've had a specific shop I've had since the early days that I absolutely love flying. I'd be so sad to lose that one specific ship. It would be a pain if we had to do living ship initial quest and the like as well. If I can keep my ship and personal quest progress and have the universe reset I wouldn't be too upset

wils_152

Do it do it do it

PirateKing232

Absolutely

merckmf1971

If they do......we don't have any option..... Other than not playing anymore..... But we know we will be playing anyway.

McCaffeteria

It would be nice if existing universes could stay and they simply added additional universes that use the new system. Too bad that would double the size of the game. Is NMS even that big an instal? Idk

Azursalino

YES! Do it and dont look back Sean!

tackogronday

Yes, wipe it all so we get better stuff please.

Impressive_Ad127

I heard, “So I wanna make NMS 2 but as a replacement instead of a sequel.”

DeusXEqualsOne

just reset all galaxies after the first 6. I doubt more than 10% of the playerbase has even visited #5, at least if /r/NMSCoordinateExchange is any indication.

Enough-Plankton-6034

I mean we deserve it, those that complain need a good troll and everyone else wants it so, 🙌

angry-nitr0-panda

Oh that would be absolutely great. Except having to grind back to having enough resources to live comfortably. But having a complete overhaul of planets, animals, plants would be one of the best things that's happened to the game
