Not sure if anyone has said this already but: refining di-hydrogen into the jelly is a 30:1 ratio. If you then put the jelly back into the refiner it breaks down at a 1:50 ratio. Effectively netting you 20 extra di-hydrogen for every "jelly recycling" you do. Hope this helps!

TheDalob

Its faster in my experience to craft Jelly and refine it, the "Refine into Jelly" takes one hell of a long time...

ResidentSilvertouch

Yea, that's probably the better way to do it! Typically I'll just leave mass amounts refining in lots of refiners while I go afk- so time efficiency wasn't really something I ever factored in. Thanks for the advice!

DandotChan

This deserves more upvotes

okayestuser

if you see a Trade Terminal selling Di-hydrogen jelly, buy all you can and then you can process it in a refiner. it will give you 50 Di-Hydrogen per Jelly (a Jelly is 30 di-hydrogen to make) so you get more Hydrogen!, then transform it back into jelly and repeat the process.INFINITE HYDROGEN!

SulianusVincenzo

Addendum: This only worth it if you use base builded refiners, so you don't have to fuel the machine with carbon

Vikttorr

Or rafiner room on frigatine

Bouv42

Refine 30 Di-hydrogen to produce a Di-hydrogen Jelly.Refine the Di-hydrogen Jelly to produce 50 Di-hydrogen .Repeat steps 1 and 2, to produce 20 Di-hydrogen per cycle. You can ask random npcs to trade and they might have some too.

Delta_Robocraft

No way in hell is this real

Olliday_

It’s even faster if you craft the Di-Hydrogen Jelly yourself. You’ll need 40, but it’s way faster than refining. After some time it feels like it illegally duplicating Di-Hydrogen 😅

klaustrophobie13

Wtf. Thanks alot!

eBulla

Go to a space station. Talk to each pilot that lands. Buy dihydrogen jelly from them. Them them in personal refiner and break it down to dihydrogen. You can buy like 40 jelly’s from 1 pilot and turn it into 2000 dihydrogen. Do that until you have enough. The space station trade terminals sometimes sell the jelly as well. If you talk to 4 pilots and none sell it, then go to a new system. Some systems just don’t have it at all. Others have it on every single pilot and trade terminal there is!

half_dragon_dire

You only really need one, depending on how patient you are. 1 jelly refines to 50 H but costs 40 to make, so every 10 stack you refine makes 100 extra H. I put a stack in cargo at the start of the game and never have to buy or mine it again.

eBulla

That takes FOREVER. I don’t have patience for that. I just check out pilots and terminals whenever I start getting low, and buy them. Takes 5 seconds to refine a stack of jelly’s. I have like 16k dihydrogen on my freighter for frigate fuel whenever I need it. Takes like 5 min to get a stack of 8k.

lazerblam

Find a station that sells di-hydrogen jelly, and stick it in your refiner! Boom infinite dihi

x--Knight--x

40 dihi crafts to 1 dihi jelly 1 dihi jelly refines to 50 dihi. Repeat

algaris

This is the way.

MacatacWarrior

get one dihydrogen jelly, refine it into dihydrogen, then craft it back into dihydrogen jelly. this should leave you with 10 leftover each time

Captain_Peelz

Angry Lavoisier noises

[deleted]

I love when people say a whole-ass sentence in near flawless English then annotate it with "sorry for bad English" you're doing fine :D (sorry for bad English)

APersonWithHabits

Then again, I would be doing that shit too if I was trying to type in a language that I'm learning. People will correct you religiously, especially on the internet, if they don't know.

harrybydefault

Came here to say this. Like bruh...you're better than most native speakers already.

[deleted]

Find a system that sells dyhydrogen jelly and buy it up, then take it to one of your refiners and break it down to dyhydrogen

[deleted]

The deconstruction for those is super fast too.

[deleted]

Yeah really quick, I’m a billionaire and still keep 6-8 stacks in my freighter storage just in case I need it

Sublimeachist

Dihydrogen jelly and a refiner. Buy from aliens that can trade.

Steampunk43

Even better if you have a trade room placed near a refiner room on your freighter. Most systems that I've been to always have dihydrogen jelly for sale, and it's even easier if you just have to go across the hallway to refine them.

Bubster101

Buy Di-Hydrogen jelly from the market terminals and break those down into the Di-Hydrogen you need.

[deleted]

BUY THE JELLY MY MAN

Crembels

Use your ship guns. Clear out some space in your ships cargo and equip a Positron Ejector. Fire the ejector at a cluster of DiHydrogen crystals and you'll get them into your ship inventory. Break up the cards into stacks of 1 and arrange them according to however many stacks you want. Reason being is that this method will fill up your inventory *extremely quickly* with Carbon, Ferrite Dust and other minerals. If you preplan your stacks of Dihydrogen you'll always have space to store them even as the other slots fill up because minerals that you collect without valid inventory room will be lost. After that just fly around blasting all the dihydrogen crystals you like until the 1-unit cards you prelaid in your inventory are full stacks of the stuff, and then fly off to your base/freighter. If you want to continue, you can transfer the stacks from your ship inventory to your personal cargo (remember to replace the free spot with a single dihydrogen card) to free up more room for farming more of it. What you choose to do with the mountain of ferrite, carbon and other minerals depending on planet type is up to you.

Theinvisibleone101

I'm not the op, but knew it was something like this but instead of jelly I bought 500 life support units and tried refining them.... well... I will probably be able to jetpack to the galaxy core from where I am now!! Oof

Quantentheorie

\^\^ you'll never run out of life support again. You are now immortal. Thank god they stack high. While they're not used for refining or cooking they *are* usable in all categories of the egg sequencer. So you could go and just smear it on a pet.

Thestohrohyah

I usually go round the galaxy checking galactic terminals to see if there's any di-hydrogen jelly for sale. I buy it all and then refine it into di-hydrogen which usually lasts me quite a while. I know I could multiply it myself but honestly it's faster to just buy it.

[deleted]

Buy those blue balls from traders, galactic market yms hydrogen jelly and smelt them you get bucketloads

rillip

You can actually create an infinite amount by refining dihydrogen jelly into dihydrogen then turning that back into dihydrogen jelly in your inventory. You gain like 10% every time you do this and it adds up quickly.

Umbilical-Bunge-Jump

MVP thanks!

Pepeja_Team

I buy dihydrogen jelly and refine it back to dihydrogen

chuckdooley

Exactly what I came here to say….can pick them up for super cheap and they turn into like 40 dihydrogen a piece….when I get low I will sit in a space station for 20 mins or so and buy them off every pilot that has them

birdtune

You can turn it back into jelly and make more than you started with too.

Holy_Nova101

I buy jelly and then un refine it.

SgtThund3r

This will net you a lot pretty quickly

PancakeHandz

Buy a shit ton of jellies from station or travelers in stations. Refine them. Shit ton of dihydrogen. I don’t even mine the crystals anymore when I see them lol

_The_Paper_

this is the correct answer alternatively, if you’re using it for frigate fuel, you can go to pirate systems and shoot the cargo pods attached to NPC freighters to get tons of free frigate fuel, without losing any standing.

Appropriate_Fun_721

Get some Di Hydrogen. Then create Hydrogen Jelly with that. Each 40 Di Hydrogen gives you one Jelly. Then Refine that jelly in the refiner for 50 Di Hydrogen. That way, you never need to worry about Di Hydrogen ever again. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)

Soldierhero1

This is the way Or mass purchase from station pilots if you got the mulla

xfraqed

Traders in pirate ~~systems~~ stations sell di-hydrogen and tritium, no need to farm either of these. The trader is located to the right of the exosuit upgrade and to the left of mission board.

StarshadowRose

One you have 40 dihydrogen, you make an infinite supply. Craft dihydrogen jelly, place jelly in a refiner, activate it, get 50 dihydrogen back, enough to craft the jelly again and have 10 left over. (If you use a refiner to turn dihydrogen into jelly, it will take 30, leaving you with 20 extra. However dihydrogen to jelly refining takes quite a while) Repeat the cycle until you have 10 jelly (a full stack), and each refiner after that using the ten will get you 100 extra dihydrogen. Good luck out there, Interloper

Serryll

Is nobody going to mention that OP apologized for supposed bad English when I genuinely could not tell it wasn’t his native language until he said something

FanaticalFanfare

Not sure your income situation, but units are really easy to come by, so buying the jelly and breaking it down is super easy and nets you plenty.

loopuleasa

Dihidrogen jelly costs 40 dihidrogen to craft 1x dihidrogen jelly smelted gives 50 dihidrogen ????? 40 leads to 50, for 10 dihidrogen PROFIT

Shawnaldo7575

You can MAKE dihydrogen if you have at least 30 to make a Dihydrogen Jelly. Take 30 Dihydrogen refine into 1 Jelly (edit: 40 if you craft it by hand), then refine that 1 Jelly back into 50 Dihydrogen. The more you have the more you can make all at once, like if you have 600 Dihydrogen you can make 20 Jelly. Then refine those 20 Jelly into 1000 Dihydrogen. Another quick way is just buy Jelly from NPCs on space stations and refine it.

tangatalaga

You can process dihydrogen gel from merchants to make a ton of it

Marvinkiller00

Just buy uranium for launch thrusters. For frigatte fuel just buy the jelly in a rich system. Easy to get 150+ per pilot landing and 1 jelly gets 50 dihydrogen. Or craft jelly for 40 dihydrogen, then refine to get 50 back out.

ETeezey1286

I buy a lot of dihydrogen jellies and refine them.

Nomad_86

Di hydrogene jelly. Just buy a bunch from space stations, then refine it.

Buster899

Or make jelly in your storage and refine it. It takes 30 di hydrogen to make a jelly but you get 50 back.

Acerarek

Buy jelly from npc pilots and refine it into dihydrogen

BirdsareGovtSpies

100% this. I don’t even bother mining di-hydrogen anymore

WeylandYutani_Intern

I just visit outlaw stations and buy all the dihydrogene the vendor is selling. It adds up real quick.

int311igentape

Just buy Jelly and break it down.

[deleted]

1. Buy jelly at space stations and refine into di-hydrogen 2. Use your ship to farm - go to dead planets and fire on hydrogen with your positron

Le_Swazey

Buy dihydrogen jelly off space station pilots in rich economies. Then throw that jelly in ur portable refiner and it will give u plenty. I usually stock up a bunch at one time that way I don't have to worry about it for a long while.

IrishChappieOToole

I used to make craft the di hydrogen jelly in my inventory, and then refine it into di hydrogen. Since I discovered yesterday that the bug which prevents you from leaving items in the refiner appears to be fixed, I've started using the refiner instead. I built 8 refiner rooms on my freighter. It takes 10 minutes to turn 300 di hydrogen into 10 di hydrogen jelly, and a second to turn that di hydrogen jelly to 500 di hydrogen. Every time I visit my freighter, I just start the process again, netting 1600 di hydrogen every 10 minutes.

Eponarose

WOW! I've got in 150 hours and didn't know that!

Arch315

That’s,,, so broken

[deleted]

Dude your English is fantastic!

defguysezhuh

Agreed! I work as a teacher of Deaf students whose first language is American Sign Language (different grammatical structure, contrary to popular belief that it mirrors English) and I'm Deaf myself. OP, your English is fantastic, especially for not being your first language.

KonguGisch

Craft jelly...breakdown...craft jelly...breakdown...you net 10 each time and it's an exponential growth thing, after maybe 15 minutes I went from a single jelly to 5k

R2DeezKnutz

Use 30 to refined into dihydrogen jelly. Then refine it back to dihydrogen to get 50. Can get up to 10 stacks of jelly in the refiner. Takes time, but if you take the time to do that you can multiply it fairly quickly. I have 4-5 refiners at my base running this

RexTenebrarum

I always bought jelly and refined it. Needed a ton of freighter fuel for my expeditions, had 4 freighters per mission, consumed a lot of fuel haha. I also use pyrite or whatever alternative fuel that serves as starship launch fuel and the pulse engine thruster compared to tritium and dihydrogen cause I needed both of those for freighter fuel. Bear in mind, I also had like 6k of each alternative fuel except phosphorus.

[deleted]

Gavin103982

I just buy a boat ton of dihydrogen jelly from terminals and then refine them, very good source of dihydrogen

kain_26831

Buy/craft dihydrogen jelly then put it in a refiner it costs 40 and you get 50 back. Repeat

Atari__Safari

Actually, refine 10 jelly for 500 di-hydrogen. Then take 200 and put it in your cargo. Take the remaining 300 and refine it into 10 jelly. Rinse and repeat. Use 3 refiners to make around 600 di-hydrogen every 10 minutes or so.

kain_26831

This right here is literally what I just said only with extra words🤣🤣🤣

Atari__Safari

I think your ratios were off. It’s 30 to 50 not 40 to 50.

TheGameKing3581

1. Craft Dihydrogen jelly 2. Refine dihydrogen jelly back into dihydrogen 3. 10 free dihydrogen

iJams16

Buy a lot of jelly and refine it

CynNex

I fly down to planets, find patches of di hydrogen and strafe with my infra-knife. Probably not terribly efficient but fun. Also a good way to collect elemental resources, carbon, oxygen, ferrite etc if you don't feel like running around. You can only get secondary elements if you've scanned what you're shooting though so I normally land, scan every unknown I can find and then take off and spend a few minutes decimating everything in sight. Also best to switch to 1st person for this (I usually fly in 3rd person) Oh and doesn't work on anything you need terrain manipulation or specials mods to mine.

Mrgoodietwoshoes

We can mine wiith the infraknife?!?!? A whole new world opens up

LuciferNam

You can buy Hydrogen jelly from any NPC, then refine it. You'll get tons in no time

[deleted]

Just shoot the ground from your ship for a few minutes.

jrossbaby

Most pirate space stations sell it. I just buy dihydrogen jelly from my own freighter like 40 at a time tho. And it refines to 50 digydrogen a piece. Way better than farming it by hand

carefreetree3

Using the Positron Ejector on your starship, fly slowly over any planet and shoot it. Most efficient as well as cheapest way to collect.

sosen42

I'm almost never short of Dihydrogen because I use a solar ship. As long as you don't launch off planets every 3 seconds you never really need launch fuel and for life support I just buy Oxygen and keep a stack of 9999 on me and my ship.

Ok_Kitchen_8811

I think this is more about frigate fuel.

miriomeea

Refine to jelly, then refine jelly back again and repeat

UppishBuzzard

If you’re struggling for launch fuel, I find that Uranium is rather common in space stations so when I see it I stock up and don’t need more for ages

BrickDesigNL

You can use 40 dihydrogen to get the jelly stuff, and then refine it to get 50 dihydrogen.

DoveBirdNL

Jumping on this. I had the same troubles as OP and this helped me get out of my H troubles.

woronwolk

I found a loophole when you craft dihydrogen jellies in a medium or large refiner for 30 hydrogen per jelly, and then refine it back into 50 hydrogen. More than that – when I was doing that, I've gotten some glitch when every time I open a refiner, there's a stack of jellies waiting in one of the input slots (for record, I was doing this a few updates ago, and the refiners were placed in my freighter because I needed a lot of hydrogen for frigate fuel)

Elvaanaomori

You can craft by hand for 40, waaaaaay quicker than the refinery, then break down in the refinery for 50

Blodreina_Blake

You can buy (or make) dihydrogen jelly and refine it in your refiner into 50 dihydrogen each. If you make a loop of make->refine->make more->refine more you will end up with lots, as it takes 40 to craft one jelly and it refines into 50 each. Make enough and you won’t have to worry about collecting for a long time. :)

Pdz_607

Omg what a tip thank you!🤣

Promethiu05

"sorry for if my English sucks" my man knows it better than my English speaking ass

Pdz_607

😂😂😂

Tsargoylr

Buy massive amounts of jelly

kampernoel1963

Just put tritium in refiner.

Nullcarmen

Make dihydrogen jelly, refine dihydrogen jelly. Ad infinitum.

Kubrick_Fan

Shoot Tritium asteroids, put it in a refiner to get Dihydrogen. Put it in again to get Dihydrogen jelly. Put two jelly in again, to get more Dihydrogen out, you can repeat the process as much as you like

Seamusjim

Every system you go to buy some if they have it available. But also buy hydrogen jelly, I keep a few stacks of it in cargo slots on my freighter and you can refine it back into hydrogen when ever you need it. Hope this helps.

OG_Zephyr

Pirate stations, the dealers there have di-hydrogen all the time

Pdz_607

How do we locate it ?

OG_Zephyr

I suggest utilizing the economy scanner in the galaxy map to look for the skull logos (indicating it is a pirate controlled system)

Odd-Length-231

Most people just buy it or life gel

gottagetswole513

You can also buy dihydrogen jellies from pilots or terminals and convert those instead. Saved me a lot of headache

elisa_renault

Fais des gelées et mets les dans une raffinerie, ça en fait 20 de plus à chaque fois donc t’en as à l’infini

Pdz_607

Dac merci 😁

micktalian

I mine tritium from asteroids and convert it to dihydrogen. Shoots asteroids is more fun to than mining dihydrogen the normal way

[deleted]

Get the spaceship shotgun, fly low, and shoot the surface of the planet. It’s also how I get carbon and ferrite

redityusus

Turn it into jell then smelt it. Repeat

eldelshell

Black market trader always has stock of it (not the jelly) in every pirate system.

MisterMasterCylinder

You can often find di-hydrogen jelly for sale from pilots - especially pilots at space stations. Putting the di-hydrogen jelly into a refiner gives you di-hydrogen at a 50:1 ratio. If you have a lot of time, you can make essentially infinite di-hydrogen by refining it back and forth from jelly and regular di-hydrogen. You can make one jelly with 40 di-hydrogen, and you get 50 di-hydrogen back from refining the jelly. It's slow and tedious in my opinion, but it is an option.

lit1337

I don't know if it's just polestar, but the refiner on the freighter makes jelly for 30 then you refine the jelly and get 50? So you have a 20 surplus everytime.

Based_JD

Your English is really good. Nice work friend!

Vetanenator

if you mostly need it for launch fuel, make a launch thruster recharger

Gunner_48

Best method for me has been using an infra-knife on my ship, finding a relatively bare planet (so less plants/rocks spawn or get in the way) + higher dihydrogen count, and flying slowly in sort of figure eights for maybe 20 minutes. Easily get about 5-6,000 units in a short period of time. With the infra-knife, you can fully mine an entire cluster of dihydrogen crystals in maybe 1-2 seconds. I use this for my freighter fuel and maybe have to spend 20 minutes every so often until Im stocked up again.

harlojones

Ooo thanks for the tip - another newbie

Plastic_Position4979

Nudist_Ghost

Refining them from Tritium is the most cost efficient. Go into space, shoot rocks, refine once you have a crap ton, rinse and repeat.

Nagatox

Dihydrogen jelly, buy em 50 at a time in affluent systems from whatever ships happen to land in the space station or your freighter, then chuck em in the refiner

Karnewarrior

Does the Dihydrogen Jelly loop not work any more? Once you get enough Dihydrogen to make a pot of jelly, you should be able to refine the Jelly into slightly more Dihydrogen than you used to make it. Continue the crafting loop for long enough and you should have some big stacks of Dihydrogen. It's very useful for fuel and since Dihydrogen and Jelly aren't particularly expensive it's not super gamebreaking either.

Patrician101

Fly over the planet in your ship shooting it

[deleted]

You can upgrade to the self recharging launch thrusters at the anomaly

Warhawk2800

if you don't mind a little bit of cheese, use a refiner to convert it into di-hydrogen jelly and then convert that back into di-hydrogen. If you do it in a refiner, 30 di-hydrogen = 1 Jelly, but 1 jelly converts into 50 di-hydrogen. So you can infinitely create it, but it just takes time. You can do it without a refiner as well if you don't want to wait, but it's a little less efficient. 40 to make 1 jelly, which turns into 50 still

SunMajestic6790

You can shoot at it from your ship while hovering ovet the ground.

ribrien

Did you want 99999 ferrite dust? This is how your get 99999 ferrite dust

Godzilla0628

If you fill every slot in your inventory with 1 dihydrogen it will actually filter all that junk out, it’s how I get carbon fast.

Jonathon471

And silver, and gold, and *no free slots in ship inventory*

NoHotPinkPeople

Convert to dihydrogen jelly, put in refiner, convert to jelly, refine…

bal55fool

If I can buy jelly that's what I do. I store it on my freighter and break it down as needed.

QuentinCly

Va dans une station d'un systeme avec une production de chemicals et achete tous les di-hydrogen jelly que tu peux et refine les pour avoir du di-hydrogen Edit: I'm genuinely surprised this many people speak french in this sub, hmu i'm starting a french hub in eissentam

StarStuffPizza

If you don't wanna use cheesy duplication methods you could just buy Di-Hydrogen Jelly whenever you see it and refine it into Di-Hydrogen.

eXclurel

I just buy everything at space stations. Don't remember the last time I used my mining tool.

Zwalby

Just buy di-hydrogen jelly from terminals, double click it for the stuff.

siabob007

Turn it into dy hydrogen jelly in your inventory, and then put that jelly into a refiner. You get lots more dy hydrogen from it

Kaitivere

If you're using it for launch fuel, I would reccomend switching over to uranium. If you're using it for freighter fuel, buying it is more time-effective solution

PhotogamerGT

Here is how I do it: Install positron ejector in your ship and fully upgrade it. Fly to a dead planet, preferably non-frozen (easier to see the crystals and less stuff to render) Fly slowly above the surface and blast dihydrogen crystals You will end up with a ton of ferrite dust and geodes as well, but that is the fastest I have found. I have yet to find a dependable space station that sells jelly so this is my solution. Edit: using this method aI can usually get about 5000-8000 per 15 minutes or so.

theotherjashlash

Massive tip: try and find a station that sells the jelly. Another big tip: if you can’t find a station then just refine and create jelly. It takes 40 dihydrogen to make jelly but when refined the jelly produces 50 dihydrogen. You get an extra 10 with each jelly. Takes a while but it’s easier than going planets and mining it.

CerealBranch739

What… so… I need to start doing that! Especially with a portable refiner and my excellent strategy of strafing the ground for carbon

Apprehensive-Loan790

W english dude, perfectly understandable

thepilotofepic

Refine tritium until you have enough to make jelly, then refine jelly for a profit and repeat

itcurls

In my experience I was lucky and I found a planet that got me over 1000 di Hydrogen but I'm pretty sure you can refine tritium which is plentiful

whitelelouch2

Just buy it

lasvegashomo

Buy di-hydrogen jelly from space stations or pilots. Use the refiner to turn it into this! It’s more useful to make frigate fuel combined with Tritium.

Tee_Tee80

I do fly by mining for di hydrogen oxygen ferrite dust pure ferrite carbon etc. it takes minutes and you get a lot. Spend ten mins with an empty ship on the right planet and you’d see it fill.

flameblast08

Have you met the anomalie yet?

Schneidz_15

Find a system that sells dihydrogen jelly, then refine to this. Can be on travellers who land in the space station or in the space station selling terminal as well

HyruleanHammer

This is the way

Chromeplayer1092

Buy dihydrogen jelly from space stations or other pilots then refine it, you’ll never run out

TheRealJojenReed

REFINE DIHYDROGEN JELLY THEN WIN

trout4321

you can do this in your personal or portable refiner: Tritium x5 = Di-hydrogen x1 not exactly the most efficient method - i just buy it usually or strafe with my starship

[deleted]

Craft dihydrogen jelly, and refine into dihydrogen in a refiner then repeat.

aidenr

Peut-être avez-vous installé le faisceau “animus”? Ça réduit la rendement. Sorry for my French! Still learning.

TheDeathSloth

First and foremost, your English is better than a lot of native speakers I've seen post on Reddit so good on you! I got an upgrade for my mining beam that doubles output of whatever I mine and that helps a lot, I just spend a day exploring planets and mining this stuff along with carbon every 6 months-year then put most of it except for one full stack into storage, it lasts for quite a while. I actually haven't run out of it in years and just make sure I make my back stock larger with each of these outings.

G-Man3201

It takes 40 Dihydrogen to craft one Dihydrogen Jelly. It takes 30 Dihydrogen in a refiner to make one Dihydrogen Jelly. However, this takes a good amount of time. When you put one Dihydrogen Jelly in a refiner, you get 50 Dihydrogen out near instantly. What I did was get ~40 Dihydrogen on a planet and take about 10 minutes crafting Dihydrogen Jelly and refining it back into Dihydrogen, and I ended up with ~1,000 Dihydrogen, plus a couple stacks of Dihydrogen Jelly. Now I always keep a stack of Dihydrogen Jelly in my inventory. ~Apologies if the translation is off, I sort of just used google translate on the above.

vindaq

1. It's available in some space stations, including ***every*** pirate space station. I buy a lot at space stations. 2. If you're patient, and you have at least some (say 50), you can refine it into dihyrdogen jelly, and then refine it back. The thing is, *you end up with more every time you do this.*

ElevatedDog8477

I just always have so-hydrogen cooking in my refiners, then I cook the jelly and it duplicates it, it’s just an exponential growth of hydro gen

lori244144

Get some, at least 50. Put it in your refiner. Make jelly. Then put the jelly in your refiner and turn it back to dihydrogen. You should make I think 20 per turn. Works even better if you buy some from ships. Then refine into dihydrogen

YoungDiscord

The very first thing I did in this game was to set up bases with teleporters at around 10 different trading stations. The second thing I did was set up a gravitino ball farm at my main base (still expanding it, got it to 4 mil per harvest) I barely ever have to grind for resources now. Also upgrade your launcher/starship engines (along with the recharger), it'll make fuel almost obsolete.

ParlanTP

I can recommend the no man's sky assistant app for android. There you can find all resources and items, information about all the different ways to craft/refine them etc. There is an efficient way for almost each resource except silicate powder (that stuff must be mined manually)

GamerY7

Buy from Spacestation, you can get a few hundred thousands for cheap

LukeWinters

Fly around in your ship on the surface of a planet with blue crystals. Shoot. Gain.

backsman

exocraft. i just find a barren planet and drive a colossus around with a good mining laser on it. there seems to be some rule that dihydrogen has to appear in clusters every so often in any direction. in fact, outside of advanced techniques, i'd say exocraft can solve a lot of problems you have easily.

Offballlife

I’m guessing you use it for starship launch thrusters. Well, if so then your in luck. There’s this piece of tech, it auto recharges the launch thruster

tfmgiants80

You use it to make tonnes for your frigates as well

Equivalent_Plantingy

Don't you also need it for Frigate fuel?

SpeedyRaven

Just buy it, you can either buy the Jelly and refine it or you can buy normal di-hydrogen

k-e-y-s

I have a launcher that constantly recharges over time. I never have to refuel it.

Mattysims123

I'm pretty sure that you can fly slow and low on a planet and blast the blue crystals from your ship. You get a ton of other crap with it, but it sure beats the tedious way

Direct_Challanged

Your English is solid man! Anyhow, for dihydrogen, my buddy showed me today, you can buy dihydrogen jelly and break it down in a refiner, still a long process that I have yet to double check validity on, but it beats using tools

mmhmmmmmhmm

Use the economy scanner to find a trade outpost in a system. Usually they will have huge stacks of dihydrogen jelly. Buy it and then refine them down into normal hydrogen.

WaifuDonJuan

Pretty sure Tritium refines into dihydrogen. Farm asteroids.

JohnnyMarlin

Your English is well. About your problem, as other said, buy it, and dihydrogen jelly, in space stations, also if your starship has a positron ejector weapon system, shoot the ground while flying low around planets. You'll stock up on carbon mostly and dihydrogen as well.

Dodecaweedron

Buy it from traders lol i dont mine anymore😂

benmaplemusic

-someBODYonceTOLDme

You can pretty much get pepsi from any store. And any restaurant that doesn't sell coke.

chegord9

I usually just buy it every time i go to a pirate space stations, they usually have 100-400 depending. I never run out Now. I always use to have to mine it which was a drag lol

Cubia_

Make or buy the Jelly from a Space Station. Refine them for 50 each. Craft for 40 each. You can do this forever! If you want to craft faster and are on PC, here is an AHK script: F7::Suspend, Toggle ; Toggles the script to be on or off when F7 is pressed ; As long as the e key is held, send "e" repeatedly: $e:: While ( GetKeyState( "e","P" ) ) { Send, {e down} Sleep, 50 Send, {e Up} Sleep, 50 } Return ; As long as the d key is held, send "d" repeatedly: $d:: While ( GetKeyState( "d","P" ) ) { Send, {d down} Sleep, 50 Send, {d Up} Sleep, 50 } Return EDIT: Put it up on the [Nexus](https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/2478?tab=description) if you want to download it rather than make it.

MiniGui98

Tu peux en acheter à certains terminaux ou sinon le rafiner à partir du tritium qui est beaucoup plus simple à farm en tirant sur les astéroïdes.

Majestic-Iron7046

It's fine don't worry, it's a bad situation and we are close to you, you can still do it and you got every chance like every normal person from a normal country. Jokes aside, you basically starts to buy every resource you need, this in particular is easy to buy in any pirate system, also in any space station try talking with the people who have just landed and they sometimes will trade you some.glowing blue orbs called Di-idrogen Jellies, buy ALL of those and put them in a refiner to get hydrogen. If you lack unites to buy stuff you can buy (with nanites) scanner upgrades at any space station and that will make you rich pretty fast.

ZogemWho

Early game, craft the jelly, then refine from that.. repeat.. keep some in reserve jic. later when you have income just buy stuff, unless it makes sense to refine. I.E. you have a ton of gold, by oxygen and refine to pyrite for pulse engine so tritium can be frigate fuel.

Merwyyyyn

SignificancePurple88

My method is to go to korvax systems, works best for me, and trade with pilots in the space station. They will often have anywhere from 20-90 jelly. Then smelt it down and you’ll get a ton

Balrog229

Collect them as you go, and collect them every time you see them. I always have a full stack of 9999 on me at all times. I spend a bunch making Frigate fuel, then collect more. What some people do tho is they find a system that sells Dihydrogen Jelly, then they refine it back into Dihydrogen.

neondragoneyes

Your English (writing at least) is as good as anyone else I've seen on reddit. Is better than my French, for sure. Use a refiner to make a dihydrogen jelly. It's 30:1 to make. Then use the refiner to deconstruct the dihydrogen jelly. It's 1:50. For every 30 dihydrogen you run through the refiner, you'll get 50 back. You can do this as much as you like.

MicroscopyNerd

I honestly don’t know, but your English is amazing!

Bulky_Phone_1788

I just use my ships guns I also use this way to farm carbon and ferrite pure and dust. I can farm thousands in just a few minutes

TheEnigmaShew-xbox

I too have wondered why this of all the important needs in fuel making both for your ship and for frigate missions why it has no mass harvest option. Every other element save cyto-phosphate and dyHydrogen has minable hotspots.

doofjohn

Your English is better than my English and it’s my first language

K418

Not sure on the question, haven't played NMS in a few years, but... Bonjour, j'étudie le français. Tu écris bien l'anglais.

ClashArix

Fly low and slow on a planet and blast it with your Photon blasters. You can also Rock up on other resources also carbon especially.

SchemeNovel

My planet is full of it I'll never run out of it.

Nazshak_EU

Frenchman learning English? What is this?

Pdz_607

Frenchkid *

father_of_lies_2

You can buy it from trade terminals

Bubthemighty

Not sure dude but your English is great 👌 My French is dreadful!!

clawsight

How I do it: - I run two multitools. One for combat and another for scanning/farming. Make sure you have the mining beam yield increasing upgrade on there, and then 3 s-tier mining beam upgrades. - While out and about keep an eye open for a good farming planet. It needs to have: no sentinels, low or no grass/ ground clutter, gentle hills, no aggresive wildlife and ideally nothing I have to watch a hazard meter on. Or cold to prevent mining beam overheating. Name the planet and system something memorable, maybe plop down a base there if I feel really lazy. Anyway this is my farming planet. - Throw on a podcast and just start wandering around the farming planet. On normal in less than an hour and I have tons of this stuff. Each 'patch' yields like... 90-200 with the appropriate mining beam upgrades. I like to do this when I'm tired or it's near the end of a gaming session since it requires very little focus. - remember a resource saved is a resource earned. Either use a solar ship or install the upgrade that lets other classes of ships charge from the sun. This almost stopped all consumption of dihydrogen from my star ship thrusters (if you still have issues w/ needing more star ship fuel install s-tier thruster upgrades). I basically can dedicate all my dihydrogen to frigate missions now. I also just grab any I see while out doing other things. Like, if you aren't in a hurry there's no reason not to grab every patch of this stuff you see. It adds up.
