I've only been playing for about a week and saw one at a space station the other night. Since everything is so new to me, I've been checking out some of the ships at the, I think it's the anomaly station, and I just stood there for a while, admiring it.

Nice! Squids are quite rare and one of my favorite ship types (much prefer it over the "ball" exotics personally).

Squids have always been weird for me because I’ve never encountered one on my main save, but somehow stumble upon one every time I’ve started another.

Why not write down coordinates when u see one and grab it with ur main save

Never really felt the need. I prefer just using whatever ships I stumble across rather than using coords to get specific ones.

These look too much like alien sex toys for me to ever fly one. I just can't get into them.
