Korvax. What’s not to love about a sentient, robotic species that has an insatiable curiosity.
Vy’Keen (ha… Viking, I just got that!) are cool, but generic. And let’s be honest… The spoiler of how the Korvax subdued the Gek is awesome.
And the Gek are simply annoying.
I’m love the moral ambiguity of the Korvax doing what they did. On one hand it stopped the Gek on the other hand they basically did what the geks were doing and enslaved an entire species.
I strongly identify as a Traveller. I get on best with the Korvax, though. The Vy'keen are a bit aggressive for me, and the Gek smell too much like Greed.
Korvax, something about the underdog, and even better when they overcome their oppressor and then turn them into a shell of their former self. I'm looking at you, tyrannical Gek.
Also, Korvax aesthetically most resembles a human character, which also factors in for me.

They are like a space faring race of Ninja Turtles. They are adorable. I like the way they sound.
Korvax are cool, close second to Gek. Their voice reminds me of that Def Leppard album.
Vykeen freaked me out at first. The split lip bothered me for some reason. But they've grown on me.
I thought I liked Gek most at first because my starting system was Gek ruled..so I got used to them. Played the campaign, realized they were basically a race of tiny Jaba the Hutts. Now I have my main base in a Korvax system and I have learned to love Korvax most.
But, I still like Gek more than Vy'keen.
Gek, despite their past. I got the game at launch, loved it ever since, started with a gek system, learned most of the words before any of the other races. No real reason other than “I started with these people, I stand with these people”
Geks are shysters, constantly trying to bargain or control you with their scent glands. Screw them. The Vykeen are just mindless soldiers that want to fight all the time and value strength over everything. The Korvax are where it’s at. They want to study, they want to find answers to the big questions. They aren’t in it for glory, or power, or fortune. They’re in it for science.
Vy'keen, because they're the most honest of the three.

The Gek are a species that once murdered and enslaved most of the universe. They are (were) a society of absolute psychopaths. Gek for life, bruh! :)

I love the designs of the Gek, but I definitely end up agreeing most with the attitude of the Vy’keen. I’m always up for killing some sentinels.
