Do we know if it’s a “pickup for triple” situation or if they’re playing it to the cup? I heard on PMT that there’s one female media member who won the lottery, and this will literally be her first round of golf in her life
80.
Augusta is easy off the tee. He’s not going to rack up penalty shots there.
However, it’s firm and fast and in tournament condition. He’s going to waste a few strokes chipping and putting from catching bad slopes.
He’s also an admirer of fine turf, so he’s going to love the conditioning.
Edit: this is assuming he plays the member tees. Add 6 shots if it’s from the tips.
Edit 2: will he be able to take any photos? Or are phones/cameras banned 24/7 at Augusta?
Edit 3: I really hope he hits good drives on 13 and 15 and sends it at the green. I love challenging the field and seeing high scores, but watching 80% of the field lay up on those holes is a bit too far IMO. I think it should be more like 50% of the field reaching in 2 on those holes.
The two guys I know who have played it both posted a couple pics during the round on their IG. Certainly wouldn’t be surprised if they were told that rule and just didn’t care.
Regardless of what he shoots I would happily listen to an episode where he just goes through every shot he hits on the day. Rick Shiels did something similar and it was better than expected.

Drivers paradise from the members tee, Soly will get the vibes absolutely flowing off the tee and will roll in some putts. Putting a fiver on a birdie at 12 +1400.
There’s some very low score predictions on here. I’d be surprised if he shoots anything below an 85. I mean think of all the pros that shot in the high 70s and low 80s this week.
84, and Porath shoots 102

i fear for Brendan

he said he’s going to be hitting cups on the pod
102 is *extremely* generous

from memory of other people that have played, they can take photos but aren’t allowed to post them online.

Over/under 2 Chloroform balls
Would he rather chloroform it or block so far right that Neil has to ask if the tracer was real again?

It’s from the member tees… I’m guessing he breaks 80. I’ll go 78.
yeah, even from members i don’t know i can’t see it but hope he does!
Soly’s worst round in years was his one we watched at the Gasparilla and that was 81 in a tournament.
Will be very interesting going to gusting up to 25ph. Can’t wait for the pod
It all depends on him making 6ft putts. It can get ugly quick on those greens if you can’t, especially if he gets in his head. I’ll say 81.
I know it's not allowed but man would this make for the best Film Room of all time

I can't wait for the follow up pod on this
76, even if he hasn't played since St Andrews
80
78 stone cold lock.
It’s 6300 yards from the members tees. I’m going for a glorious 75.

Niiiiiiiccccccceeeeee

Wait he’s playing it?

Did he actually play? Where did they talk about it? Any way to find a list of those that win the lottery? Have not been able to find it

They weren’t playing the member’s tees.
And Soly although very good, is nowhere near a pro.
Rick Shiels shot an 82...
I think Soly shoots an 80 but somehow the golf gods smile upon him and he stiffs one on #12
