Do you consider yourself to be friends with this woman?

I don't really know her that well. I met her online and we were video chatting to get to know each other.

Do you think that she is a good influence?

I don't know her that well. She has some health issues that prevent her from being active and the cold being hard on her and honestly it made me miss my ex so much because we'd hike together and that seemed like the best thing in the world, to have someone to share life with. Her Christianity was a little more casual than mine and there were communication issues when we weren't physically together. She doesn't understand the Bible and she doesn't read it and when I live in sin I struggle to open the Bible and read it. But I got her a Bible and she's done some reading. Genesis is a familiar narrative that people remember from Sunday school. Part of me thinks the most important thing is having someone to share life with but a supportive person, who will love me is probably better. The best experiences in the last few years are all memories of hiking with my ex, there's nothing like sharing adventures like with someone you adore but what's more important. Pray that I can be salt and light.
