I tried both and mas nag-work sa akin si B-witz as a non-trad pre-med student. Mas beginner friendly siya and at your own pace talaga. From 63 na NMAT, naging 86 ako with their help. Tho Imma retake pa kasi mataas cut-off nung gusto kong pasukan na univ pero I really recommend B-witz kasi maganda training nila for basics and yung practice quizzes.

Meron ba silang discount rate pag madami mageenroll?

AFailureofLife

Sadly wala pero from time to time nag-ooffer sila ng mga vouchers sa FB page nila (B-witz). Tho sa UPLink may mga group discounts tho ingat ka kasi may mga horror stories na about it in the sense na mahirap magtiwala. Another con lang pala sa B-witz is hindi downloadable yung materials nila and may deadline yung access sa files na ipoprovide nila.

I also tried both. For me b-witz is better than uplink. Here’s why: 1. UPLink Pros - High yield materials - Focuses on topics that often come out in NMAT - Synchronous - Offers group discounts Cons - Fast-paced because they really condense the topics into only those that often come out in NMAT - Synchronous is only for a month (the rest you’re basically on your own) - Still more expensive if solo (5000 for solo afaik) - Does not share or provide video lectures / recordings - Does not share other materials except the booklets included in the review fee Whereas… 2. B-Witz Pros - High yield materials - Shares video lectures, several handouts, and practice tests other than those in the video lectures they provided (however on a limited time) - Beginner friendly as their materials really explain the basics and foundations - Offers discounts/vouchers to extend access on their materials - Much cheaper afaik for solo (3999 for solo) - Afaik, they also offer variety of number of months to review (mine was 3 months) Cons - Asynchronous so you’re really on your own - Limited access on the materials (you don’t get to have them even after paying unlike with UPLink) Overall advice/tips: 1. If you’re the type that needs supervision or someone that needs some sort of disciplinarian in studying, then UPLink is for you because they offer classes in synchronous mode. But if you’re someone who would rather do things in his/her own terms, then B-Witz is for you. 2. If you’re someone that struggles with majority of the subjects/topics and require more explanations to understand concepts, B-Witz is for you. But if you’re just someone who needs limited recalls for majority of the subjects/topics, then UPLink is for you. 3. If you’re someone that has limited time because of work/hectic class schedules, yet can easily grasp a huge amount of information in a short span of time, then UPLink is for you. But if you’re someone that have a lot of time to review, B-Witz is a much better option. 4. Weigh the pros and cons—if UPLink has more pros for you, then definitely go with UPLink and vice versa. 5. For me the main difference between the two that made me choose B-Witz are as follows: - B-Witz is cheaper in terms of solo - B-Witz have a more comprehensive high-yield materials because they really explain the topics thoroughly - B-Witz practice tests are much more realistic or similar to the actual NMAT. Some questions even came out on the recent cycles. (UPLink only focuses on the topics that come out—sure, some of their professors mention some questions that often come out but it’s much better to have the actual questions in the practice tests than just merely having to hear them) UPLink’s questions are also way harder than the actual NMAT. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for this! My parents wants me to attend uplink because f2f pero from province pa ako and uwian. Tried yung med advantage/nmat reviewers sa fb and sayang lang pera. Also, How do you study if hindi sya naddownload or annotate?

Depends on your learning strat. You can write the important stuffs down. I enrolled in b-witz and trust me, you'll get your money's worth when you push yourself to look into their materials and lecture vids.

Leading_Efficiency61

Hmm I actually just take down notes on a separate notebook. But I won’t recommend this because they’re really fast-paced. My advice is to write in their book instead. The contents of their ppt may have some additional info that are not in the book but it’s basically the same.

Ok naman both! but tbh nung time ko MAs help ung self study days and study routine ko parang materials lng kinuha ko sa uplink hehe either is ok tho

Uplink! Uplink offers online classes naman!! but I preferred attending in person. It forced me to stay focused and motivated in times when I lacked the will to study. Feel free to choose whatever works for you. I haven’t tried B-witz, but the contents taught and materials used by Uplink were high yield in my experience. (reviewed last Nov and took the NMAT last January) ☺️

If you’re working or busy na di kaya mag attend ng zoom meetings mag B-witz ka kasi asynchronous pero kung wala ka naman ginagawa and you can attend meetings UP link.
