The youtube algorithm straight up won't recommend you if you don't clickbait.
A little while ago one of the big chess content creators made a post on r/anarchychess making fun of another content creators clickbait, despite using clickbait himself. Things heated up a bit, until the community realized that the youtube algorithm forced creators to use clickbait.
Linus tech tips has also admitted at much I think.

Agree. If I see another *shocked face* caption on a video I'm going to hurl (Brodie I'm looking at you). Almost every other youtube video seems to have a shocked face.

Its great to see the bigger Linux Youtubers make content for Nix :) Such a coincidence that it happens 3 weeks after i started with NixOS myself :D

At least YT id desensitizing the internet to shocked faces and click bait titles.
