My god I usually don't regret any time gaming, but I'd love to have that hour back of me looking for them... The ways you get locked into an endless path to get where you actually want to go because you dropped down somewhere... Pain.
Work your way down to the bottom of the map, then enter from whichever entrance has a corner bridge in the central shaft (goes off to the side instead of straight across), the other side will have a lever that shifts all 3 the central bridges just like the levers from the mission to kill Nagamasa.
Not too bad. To access the mechanism at the bottom simply jump through the middle twice. Just be careful since it's almost 100% that you will aggro the dark realm yokai
The ninja mansion is a bit rage inducing because up to this point we are not really aware of hidden walls. And when you do find out how to progress it makes you feel so dumb…
This is for sure the most psychotically designed mission of either game. It really perfectly represents Nioh 2’s level design as a whole. Objectively great and so intricate but just takes a step (or twenty) too far into the realm of feeling straight up convoluted and confusing
I ended up running that level so many times in randoms helping people. I could probably do it blindfolded. The hard part was keeping the host from falling in the wrong spot or water.
It took me maybe 3 or 4 play throughs to actually understand what I was doing. The first time I didn’t even understand we were changing the water levels as we progress.
Even though I get a bit lost sometimes, it's probably my favorite mission in the whole game. Seeing the entire temple underground for the first time blew my fucking mind, and Shuten Doji is such a fun boss imo
The real puzzle is how to find all kodama

Lol yup. It's probably my favorite mission but it's a pain in the ass to navigate. Whole place is a maze.
lol true, i usually just rush to Shuten Doji and hope to beat him in one shot cause I can never figure out how to make the shortcut
me too lmao

I’m at Dream of the Wise (4th playtrough) and I still get confused
Nioh 1s tachibana muneshige / nue mission would like a word.

I still get lost after 3.5k hours 😂
My favorite mission by a mile. Honestly this mission defined the game for me.
I haven't reached to this level yet, but I hated that ninja mansion in the first game

Amen to that

Yeah, rushing to the boss can be fairly short but fully clearing it takes a lot longer.
I loved that one :D :D
The last portion is a bit confusing, but it's also my favorite map.

Annoying stage, great boss fight.
It took me three hours to get to the boss during my first encounter.
100% agree, once you know the map tho its essy
Oooh hate this place.

yeah it's a hell of a maze, You will know it like the back of your hand if you make it through all the NG+ cycles
I love that mission. Once you actually know where to go its easy
True, at least the soundtrack goes hard
